  1. Nonsense. Keyra would have been the salvation of that ill-fated Toronto flight. If she had been at the controls her weight alone would have kept the plane upright and on an even keel. So, next time you see a plus-sized gal in the pilot's seat, rest assured, you're in good hands and in the bosom of safety. Delta is making steady progress with DEI policy and "un-manned" flights, one white-knuckle incident at a time.
  2. Love those T-shirts. They're dressed for success.
  3. Who was behind "...lifting a suspension on Thai workers heading to Israel..." ? To say that "...regional tensions appear to diminish" is hogwash. Some Thais in high places are being bought off to promote this dirty deal.
  4. I don't think it is so much the "individuals" that were involved with Epstein that are driving this cover-up. Who are they? With the notable exception of Trump, they are largely out of power. An aging group of degenerates often the butt of jokes and scatological nicknames... BJ Billy; Randy Andy, etc. The real issue here is Epstein and Maxwell's alleged relations with Israeli intelligence agencies. Better to keep the lid on that can of worms.
  5. Indeed it does. The farang demographic that has settled down here is aging dramatically. You see them hobbling around on their canes everywhere. Their constant complaining about life here and their supercilious attitude regarding Thais and Thailand won't be missed.
  6. For sure. If nothing else, it would be some free publicity for a career in terminal decline.
  7. That mindset was probably the driving force behind the phenomenal success of Dunkin' Donuts and Mister Donut in the US during the late 1950s.
  8. Cafe au lait... Cafe latte... Cappuccino. You're dissing some of the best. Have a rum and coke for a good Cuba Libre.
  9. What, no farangs involved? They are usually one of the main ingredients in these stinking gumbos. Without them to add spice the taste is distinctly jute.
  10. Obscene wealth... and it is probably only the tip of the iceberg. The whole clan have been plundering Thailand for years now.
  11. Taking ganja to India... The old saying "Carrying coals to Newcastle" comes to mind.
  12. They don't get locked up for any length of time if they pay their fine and buy an airline ticket out of the country.
  13. Suksawat Lumber in CM... great place for variety and reasonable prices. I recently bought two 1" X 8" X 3 m. boards for 1,180 baht. It was absolutely primo - not a knot or bad grain in it. They told me it was coming in from Laos, hence the low price. I was expecting to pay between 2,000 and 3,000 for wood of that quality. Incidentally, I buy most of my lumber from local dealers who buy old teak houses and resell the lumber. Good luck with your projects.
  14. That's true enough, but if you allow yourself to become a doormat the only happy people will be the ones walking all over you.
  15. I get my JJ whole wheat bread at the Rim Ping Iron Bridge store. They always seem to have it along with some other excellent JJ products.
