  1. for all of you who think the current government is wrong, lets see what khun suthep said during the redshirt protests...

"If they violate the laws, such as blocking roads and intruding into government offices, we will have to disperse them." Then Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand Suthep 'Adolf' Thaugsuban, March 12, 2010

Whats this....hmmmm...hypocrisy , the guy has back footed on everything he says and instigated all of what has happened in the current situation.

Every Thai has a constitutional right to vote, just like in all other countries which abide by a democratic process and it is not the right of a minority to disrupt the democratic process , just because they cannot win a vote. This guy died for what he believed in, good for him, still does not make it right!

  2. You don't need 20 measures to end corruption in Thailand. You just need one. Require all politicians, senior public officials and generals to open their personal finances to public scrutiny. Then we can see who's living far beyond the means of their salary.

now that is a lovely thought, but that is required already for politicians. They just open companys and accounts in other peoples names or shift funds through companies for offshore investment never to return, many ways to hide it

  3. "However, the proposals have been turned down by Election Commissioner Somchai Srisuthiyakorn, who said the election law clearly states candidacy registration must be carried out at places earlier announced by the EC. Extending registration, he said, might adversely affect the election's timetable."

How about, make an announcement that all main provincial police stations can take registration for the next two weeks?

  4. The first one to die at the hands of the protesters now criminal charges for murder must be placed against Suthep. Brave policeman RIP

Please share the evidence with us for:

    Shot by the protestors.

    Suthep ordered it.

At the moment it could be:

a person who is neither protestor not police/government

    an army guy

man in black from government to have a reason to clamp down on the protestors

    a protestor

Considering that there are no other weapons and that it is a PR disaster for Suthep I doubt he has anything to do with it. If he want to take the building with weapons it would easier to have 10 people with AK-47 instead of a sniper....

yes Scotty. we will need full power to beam this guy back to the enterprise.

  5. really, by focusing on just the area's with people in them and from different angles it is quite easy to create and illusion on TV, thought that was common knowledge these days and especially when the station you are talking about is the democrat friendly channel.......smoke is easily blown

All one has to do, is to go to blueskychannel.tv to see how many protesters are out there, today Five main stages and at least 10 smaller ones, in Bangkok. Lots of people, lots of fun and excitment. (and some very cute singer, a little while ago, who had everybody dancing.

Little Miss Noluck, seems to be on her way out.

  6. I do not condone what has happened but what has the state of Thailand and corruption got to do with it? This kind of thing is much more pronounced in the USA and Europe. Posters continually blame Thailand and corruption on anything that happens, yet they fail to recognize that their own countries have sad and depraved acts that happen every day, some a lot worse than what happens here in Thailand. A perfect example would be high school and university shooting the the USA....must be because of the corruption over there! Being sarcastic before anyone goes there!

I'd kill myself too if I killed my two year old daughter ... I don't have enough expletives in my vocabulary to condemn this... Why didn't you just kill yourself first!

"Money problems "???/ apart from the others, a 2 year old ??? as if she had anything to do with anything only survive in the stink hole.

In a way it's a pity the father is dead, because in this case an eye for an eye ?? slow death would have been fair. what a sick papa. Goodness knows what some of these people face though to drive them into a maniac.

Who is there to see if you have a problem here ???? no one to turn to---no community care program ???? so much money in local corrupt government, going to the wrong places.

Many avoidable things here--conditions of living --clean water-? sanitation-?-local council housing program-??---Canals stinking for 30 years that I know of.

this is a tragedy - shocking. BUT again where is the help prior to these incidents.
