For 700baht one can hire a decent car for a day, hereabouts. Not sure about Phuket, but doubt it is much more.

The only teal way is to have a completely independent group, who are above any suspicion to do any investigation, trying to find a group like that in Thailand would be 'almost' impossible!
Farangs, maybe?

The problem with these heaters is the ambient inlet water temperature. In winter, cold water, you need a lot of power to get it up to a comfortable temperature. Mid-seasons, warmer inlet water, output too hot so you mix cold at the shower. Hot season, like now, inlet water warm, output far too hot, so you mix cold at fhe shower, reducing the flow through the heater ("the slower the flow the hotter the water") and it overheats and trips.....for your protection!
As said elsewhere, yes, open it up....but not until you have isolated the power! The reset will be a tiny grey button on a 4-pronged thingy on the heater element. DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING WITH YOUR FINGERS,use an insulated screwdriver to click the reset, replace the cover, then switch the power back on. Reduce the power setting until the hot season is over.

What, pray, does this mean, exactly?

another factor to consider, possibly not relevant here as so far from the sea, is that the body is much more bouyant in salt water than in fresh. Maybe he thought he was a good swimmer in the sea....

If you mean to ask is it ok to drive Pattaya to Bangkok on motorway 7 with a 160cc motorbike, that's a No. Small bikes are not allowed on #7.
You can however use motorway 3, I've know people that drive their motorbike from Pattaya to places 5 hours north.
3 Is not a motorway. I am not sure if m/cs are allowed on tollway sections of non-motorways?

I'm still trying to sell a bridge, 50% discount only 10m baht. PM me.
This is a scam. A super-freighter knocked it down last week. But I'll offer you 1000baht for the scrap, delivered to my yard.

The 62 year old Bangkok-born premier, recognising the urgency, agreed to study the matter.
In what way is his age relevant? He may be one of many things, most of which may be defamatory, but hardly geriatric by definition.

I guess the big question is where does that kind of behavior come from? Is it just an inability to practice vision to look a few seconds into the future? Is it an inability to ponder the ramifications of ridiculous behavior, and the tragic consequences that can have on you, your family and all the drivers surrounding you? I put a lot of the blame for this on the tiny shoulders of the pathetic highway patrol, and their bizarre unwillingness to patrol the highways, look for reckless drivers and provide a deterrent to the nation.
What is the story with this kind of behavior, any insights would be appreciated because it's beyond mysterious.
Is it possible the driver was a policeman.........................?

I am trying to ship some possession s from the UK. I have considered using an entire shipping container. Is this possible. ? The freight forwarders do not want to talk to me. The removal companies are difficult and not willing to just rent/sell a container. Shipping containers are easy to buy here in the uk. Any thoughts
It is 17 years since SWMBO and I moved here permanently. We shipped two 20' containers. Removal Companies quoted £7000 each for packing and shipping. We packed them ourselves, with help from friends..it took a week to do it. Final cost? £700 each, no insurance.
They arrived safely, nothing missing or broken, and minimal duties because of a comprehensive and carefully crafted packing list.
When customs opened them up to look, they were so crammed full that they immediately banged the doors shut and cleared them!

That's one very evil <deleted> head, the Afghans had their chance and they pretty much blew it. Hopefully they will piss Putin off and he will invade them with his new mighty army and all the recently manufactured arms he has been making to fight the Ukraine!
The British gave up on Afghanistan long ago, as did the Russians, the Americans, and the UN, not necessarily once or in that order. A complete reboot is necessary, but will never happen. Too much money to be made supplying weapons.

Not all Israelis are Jews, not all Jews are Israeli.
I have many Jewish friends and aquaintances, mostly very nice people.
I have had a few encounters with Israelis, mostly not very nice people.
So far as Gaza, and the greater Middle East problems, are concerned:- a plague on all your houses, you are all as bad as each other...... and all over your imaginary friend and his so-called prophets.
