  1. I am a Permanent Resident in Singapore, but not via the investor scheme. If you can afford to throw those millions on the table, you probably wouldn't worry about paying 125bht for a chicken rice at a food court or almost 3,000,000 bht for a Toyota Vios that costs 500K in Thailand (not joking).

    In general, singapore has over the last couple of years become much more restrictive of issuing PR's and other types of visas. Yes, they are still quite liberal, but not quite like before. And yes, in theory permanent residency is permanent, BUT the re-entry permit is only renewable for 5 years at the time, which means that without it, you can't leave singapore without losing your PR.

    One more thing, if you are a PR and you have male children who also are PRs, they will have to do two years of national service (army) in Singapore. No exceptions.

  2. I can't believe all the idiots here who who are of the opinion that she was drunk or has to go to jail. You don't know. If anything, the few facts we have points to an accident were the drivers fault had been minimal, except for possible speeding. The interference of the bike and placement of the victim's car seem to support that.

    The worst part is the fact that she was "allowed" to go without testing for alcohol, but that is normal privilege given to the elite in Thailand.

  3. Oh! That's interesting! Which ales are offered?

    According to FB;

    Guinness - 199/pt

    Abbots Ale - 199/pt

    Fosters/Crown Gold - 120/pt

    Heineken - 99/pt

    Tiger - 99/pt

    Magners Irish Cider - 165/pt

    Abbot Ale is good and 199bht for a pint of guiness is not bad. Is the Abbot ale draught or bottle?

  4. It's Thailand's own fault. For decades they have allowed Thai women to be degraded as prostitutes and whores. The world knows Thailand as a place where you can buybsex anywhere and any time. Too many decent and honest thai women are humiliated because of decades of thai government allowing prostitution and sex tourism. Prostitution is illegal in Thailand, but yet it is everywhere. Why would anyone respect such a laughable system? People around the world thinks that Thai women are for sale and have little dignity and low morals. That is the truth.
