  2. Copy of uk passport proves you are a uk resident
  3. I flew from London with Eva and they checked my visa so obviously different airlines have different policies
  4. Take it from me the EVA staff asked me straight away to see my Evisa so don’t take any notice of anyone who says they don’t check
  5. The OPs return flight will be after 58 days in Thailand.I think he believes he can just turn up at Heathrow and say that he will get an extension and they will let him board but they won’t
  6. I’m here for 58 days flew in with EVA and the first thing they checked at booking in was my e visa
  7. As long as your return flight is within 30 days .If not you have to get Evisa or explore the throughaway ticket option
  8. You have the throwaway ticket option which some of the experts on here can explain to you .Basically you buy a cheap ticket out of Thailand within the 30 day VOA period so it looks like you are not staying the full 58 days in Thailand
  9. I used my iPhone and all my photos were accepted .The ones that were to big I emailed them and changed the size and I think did something with idrive to upload them

  13. This may open up a can of worms because DWP might well ask why your uk state pension is being paid into a non uk bank account.Cannot get the yearly increase in pension if not resident in uk
  14. If I wanted to get a COR in order to open a Thai bank account ,in order to transfer 800bt to get non o 1 year extension,would I just require same documentation?
  15. Don’t Barclays offer offshore accounts?Im pretty sure that Lloyds do ,as I will be in this position soon and I’m sure that this was an option for me with Lloyds
  16. Banks give a terrible exchange rate whereas wise give the actual exchange rate .May have to make several transfers due to maximum allowed but it’s worth investigating as you could easily save £10k on the difference between rates

  21. I suppose you would do this if you planned on spending say 6 months a year in uk and 6 months a year in Thailand?Is this not possible?
