I'm thinking a number of you have got the airline intentions wrong. The way I read it they are trying to gather PAX and baggage weight in order to see if they can reduce the fuel load and in effect increase performance efficiency.

Further to the ongoing W11 22H2 File Explorer UI problem:- After going through some 25 pages of various forum posts with many people fuming at the arrogance shown my MS by ignoring their pleas for UI options in many areas including the File Explorer Ribbon I found a solution that worked so well for me I bought a license within the 1st hour of their 100 day free trial. USD$4.99 An app called StartAllBack from https://www.startallback.com/

Ambulance driver probed over snack stop during emergency
bdenner replied to snoop1130's topic in Central Thailand News
Gee, it would have been nice if the driver or the ambulance transfering me from the Military Hospital to the Bankok Hospital, both in Udon Thani slowed or stopped for bananas. OK, I was not in a life threatening situation until they threw the gurney into the vehicle the idiot was driving. -
Flash Express denies allegations of staff exodus and warehouse crisis
bdenner replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I only buy through Lazada and from my experience it's up to the vendor to determine which logistics company they use. I've had items delivered by some guy on a bike with side car from a company I've never heard of?? Edit:- In saying that the service was acceptable. -
Flash Express denies allegations of staff exodus and warehouse crisis
bdenner replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Had nothing but GREAT service from Flash out here in the rice paddies of Isaan, normally 2 days (ex Bangkok) from online purchase to delivery at my front door. AND as above I ONLY use COD. No COD option, then it's off to another vendor.- 35 replies

Sorry folks! I upgraded to ver 22H2 yesterday and the As## Holes have disabled the registry fix. The video @LosLobo attached still works --- for now! But cumbersome. A number of other tweaks I had in place had also been reversed. I used an app "Winaero Tweaker" - free here https://winaero.com/winaero-tweaker/ to correct this.

Tried searching 77 pages of this thread without an answer:- Does anyone know how they intend to collect tax our incoming (Wise) transfers (if this BS is to be believed)? Do they expect my KBank to garnish xx% of the 65K Baht I bring in every month to satisfy my retirement extn. requirements in the form of with holding tax? As they do with the piddily amount of interest I receive!

I posted early in this thread and not read it all - forgive me:- Many years ogo I loaned my Thai brother in law 100 K Baht to get employment in Taiwan in tyre manufacturing business. 4 years down the track he sent everything he could back to his wife, paying me back and setting up a nice nest egg for his wife & kids. Does this government intend to levy a TAX on the wives of these responsible, hard working Thai's earning a future for their families?

There was one aspect in the W11 OS installed on my new HP NoteBook I did not like. For whatever reason they removed the Menu Ribbon in Windows Explorer which was there in all previous versions. I found a fix which works perfectly and is reversable. It is in the registry so not for the faint hearted to play with. Send me a PM if you want instructions.

IMHO:- As the "statute of limitations" draws nearer this appears to be a case of sour grapes by thoes who did not manage to get their snouts in the trough.

Senior police promotions wait for new prime minister
bdenner replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Wunda how much tea money they have to pay? Step daughters boss (in a govt. position) wanted 100K to gain her a promotion which only pays an extra 5K per month. WTF!!! We offered 30K which was accepted. She will be > 30 before she sees a benefit from her 5 years of university. BTW. Yes, we had to buy her "foot in the door"! -

Animal cruelty: Udon Thani cow and calf brutally beheaded
bdenner replied to webfact's topic in Isaan News
I live in Ban Dung and that is not typical of the quality of the beef we have around here. Can't see the rib cages, hip bones etc. and she is about 5 times the weight. In fact it is not a "Brahman breed cow". -
Communication Lines Disrupt Village Life, Residents Call for Action
bdenner replied to webfact's topic in Isaan News
Same here! When 3BB upgraded our service to "fibre" they did not remove the olde copper cable. Oh well, as all these cables run past our upper floor windows we won't have to close the blinds for privacy. -
