  1. There are many fabric shops around Worowot market where you can choose the fabric you like and then take the unfinished sheets to a seamstress upstairs in Worowot market and they will finish them for you any way you like for very little cost. This is the best way to get bedsheets in the color and quality you prefer.

  2. To actually answer your question, Gonzo, there are many polishing compounds that can do a pretty good job of removing fine scratches from plastic lenses. I used one from 3M that worked amazingly well, but I cannot find it now. You might check-out these on Amazon. If the scratches are very fine, sometimes plain ole toothpaste can do  pretty good job.  If the lenses are glass it will be more difficult to remove the scratches.

Are the banks, including Bangkok Bank, all of which reside on the second floor, open at Promenada? When I shopped at Rimping at Promenada today, it looked like the escalators to the second floor were roped off? But, I didn't examine all the escalators.

Probably like at Central Festival where the escalators are closed but the elevators are working.

It was explained to me by the  senior IO that the land is government owned whereas photocopy shops are private so they need to have special approval from the govt first.

Once they get the approval, we will have a photocopy shop inside the compound.

They always had a copy facility at the old immigration before they moved to the Promenada. Don't see why it would be any different now.

Finally,i have to say Heineken (Thailand)doesn't taste the same as the Heineken i have drunk in Europe.

There could be some mitigating factors such as the heat and environment your drinking it in but i'm pretty sure its not the same taste

Not just the Heineken, but the draft Guinness that I had at the Red Lion is a far cry from Guinness that I've had in the UK or US. It's sort of like "Guinness Lite".
