Brazil Nuts - where to buy in Pattaya
Searched on Lazada. They are a lot more expensive on Lazada than buying at Tops @ Central, which is already quite expensive.

Brazil Nuts - where to buy in Pattaya
Any particular brand or shop recommendation on Lazada? I've read you can eat up to 5 every day but 2 every day is the sweet spot.

Brazil Nuts - where to buy in Pattaya
At Tops in Central they sell them for 105 baht per 100 grams, which is quite expensive. Is there anywhere else in Pattaya to buy them cheaper?

90 Day Reporting - Why need to Update TM30 when Agent already done it?
As a DTV holder, I went to Jomtien Immigration to do my 90 day reporting, as it can't be done online for the 1st report back into the country. Thought I'd be in and out within 10 mins, but no. Handed all the documents at the 90 day desk, she said the Real Estate Agent's TM30 printout isn't sufficient, even though multiple people here said that it's acceptable when their Real Estate Agent did it for them and they presented it to BKK Immigration and Phuket Immigration. She told me I need to get a queue number and do an updated TM30, which makes absolutely no sense, but she said I need the TM30 little slip of paper they add to the pack of your passport. I just decided , I won't bother with any of this then, as I don't need immigration for anything, and they will probably try and scam you with a 1,900 baht fine saying that you didn't do a TM30 update, even though the Agent did it when I moved into my rental room. Have others here had the same issue with Jomtien? It's been known that Jomtien is a rogue immigration office for so many years already, but nobody brought it to my attention about this TM30 printout issue the last time I asked 3 months ago.

Blood Tests - Where in Pattaya?
I am looking at doing the following blood tests. Where are some places to get this done from a reputable clinic, that also has reasonable pricing. Someone previously mentioned about NHealth, but they seem to be part of the Bangkok Pattaya Hospital group, so prices would be at the top end. If anyone has had any of the below tests done recently, could you please let me know the approximate prices you paid. Thanks 1. High-Sensitivity Troponin (hs-Tn) 2. KRAFT Test (Kraft Insulin Survey) or the Oral Glucose Tolerance Test (OGTT) 3. Insulin (C-peptide) 4. Lipoprotein (a) (Lp(a)) 5. Apolipoprotein B (Apo B) 6. Small dense LDL (sdLDL) 7. High Sensitivity C-Reactive Protein (hs-CRP) 8. Homocysteine 9. TSH, T4, T3, TOP, TgAb 10. LDL-P (Low-Density Lipoprotein Particle Number) 11. Small LDL-P (Low-Density Lipoprotein Particle) 12. LDL Size

CGM ... Constant Glucose Monitor
How accurate and good is a $40 machine vs what is apparently is meant to cost? From Google AI: Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) costs vary widely, from around $50 for trial/OTC options like Lingo to $1,200-$3,600+ annually without insurance, depending on the brand (Dexcom, FreeStyle Libre), sensor life (7-14 days), and if you use a smartphone app or separate reader; insurance significantly lowers costs to potentially $0-$75 monthly, while programs and discounts help cash payers. Typical Costs (Without Insurance) FreeStyle Libre 2/3: Around $160-$170 for a month's supply (2 sensors), totaling roughly $1,900-$2,000 annually. Dexcom G7: Roughly $3,000–$3,500 per year for 10-day sensors. Medtronic Guardian: $2,500–$3,000+ annually for 7-day sensors. Eversense E3: Higher upfront cost but long 180-day sensor life, potentially $2,500–$4,000+ yearly.

Noticing many Supercars and Ultra Luxury Cars in Pattaya
Is he the guy who owns the Chinese restaurant next to Royal Garden Plaza, which has a McLaren, Bentley and other super cars always parked there? Or the guy from a few years ago that would come and sit in a different Supercar on Walking St nearly every day around 3am onwards near McDonalds, Leela/Flexx/Nashaa nightclubs?

Noticing many Supercars and Ultra Luxury Cars in Pattaya
You mean local foreigners? Most I see were driven by Farangs and the Mayback was by Chinese (a bunch of youngish Chinese guys) parked on 2nd Rd just opposite Soi 6 next to those Chinese restaurants.

Noticing many Supercars and Ultra Luxury Cars in Pattaya
There are always many Lambos and sometimes you see a Ferrari, Mayback or Rolls Royce in Pattaya. Are these usually Supercar and Ultra Luxury Car rentals that foreigners are renting here to try and look cool and rich? How much do Supercar rentals cost per day?

Registering with the same hospital with 2 different passports?
Has anyone registered with the same hospital twice, with 2 different passports? I ask this because I read that apparently all test records since year 2024 gets reported and insurance companies will get access to this. This could have an impact for future travel insurance applications or health insurance applications. By registering with 2 different passports, if you have some abnormal results, and this gets reported, and insurance has access to this, it will be linked to that passport. Then you use the 2nd passport if you are coming for any treatment at that same hospital, especially if it will come under your travel insurance policy.

Vitamin K2 - where to buy in Pattaya or online
Anyone have any recommendations where to buy Vitamin K2 from somewhere reputable, either in Pattaya or online? How to avoid fakes online? Somewhere with good prices would be good, as far as it's the real deal.

Dell Power Adapter for Laptop
If you mean the one on the 2nd floor to the left of PowerBuys, she's rude and charges the most. I would avoid her. Better talk with the shop to the right of PowerBuys.

Dell Power Adapter for Laptop
Ended up buying one from Lazada for 1.8k from BatteryDepot, which comes with a 1 year warranty from BatteryDepot. Other option was Dell Shop by NextPlay, which seems to be the only authorised Dell seller selling the real deal, however, they didn't have my charger in stock and the next higher wattage charger is nearly 3k baht. As with all battery adapters on Lazada, they all claim to be "Geniune" but I'm pretty sure they're all copies, even the one I received. Looking at the light at the end of the wire near the USB-C connection, it's way too big and the cabling at that side is thicker. The writing of the "130.0W" font is different. The model number is different by one letter, instead of starting with "DA" it starts with "HA". It's also not a Dell Thailand warranty. Regarding Tukcom, the battery shops there claim theirs is also geniune, which I don't think they are. They only offer a 3 month warranty and not an official Dell Thailand warranty. They're being sold for 1.5k to 1.9k at Tukcom.

Dell Power Adapter for Laptop
Are all the adapters sold at Tukcom all fakes and won't last for a year or two?

Dell Power Adapter for Laptop
How do you get to the Dell official store on the Lazada app? On the app, if I search for "Dell official store", I get just a bunch of random results.

Dell Power Adapter for Laptop
I was also thinking Lazada and Shopee too, but are there any fake Dell adapters being sold there? That's my only concern. Also, seems there are Type C adapters that are 65w instead of 130w, will that be an issue? Or must I only buy the same 130w?
-
Dell Power Adapter for Laptop
My Dell Power Adapter for my laptop, isn't working. Both were bought in Australia. Thr adapter is a 130w with a Type C connection. Must I only purchase another same wattage adapter, even if it's also a Type C connection? As I live in Pattaya, is Tukcom in Pattaya thr best place to go searching for this? I don't think there's any Dell shops here.

Coronary Artery Calcium Scan (CAC) - Pattaya
No, not advised by a cardiologist. Been watching Dr. Pradip Jamnadas who's a vascular surgeon on YouTube and Facebook. He mentions that it's well worth getting a CAC done, and I feel it is as well to know if I have any calcium plaque buildup. I've been getting constant sharp chest pains for over 10 years already on and off, always on the left or the centre area. Seen cardiologists before, done the EKG, 24 hour Holter monitor, treadmill stress test. Conclusion they said was that it's probably from GERD, which can apparently give chest pain and similar symptoms as heart pain. Others have said anxiety even though I'm not anxious.
