Do insurance companies here insure vehicles for floods? Surely they wouldn't, as it floors all the time and lots of vehicles always gets flood damage. It would cost insurance companies a fortune.

All you need to know is avoid Beach Rd. Bloody hell, it seems like all of Pattaya & Chonburi has descended on that road, the traffic is an absolute nightmare where you can walk quicker, impossible to catch a Songthew that isn't packed to the rafters and so many people walking (blocking) the sidewalks. I ended walking from Terminal 21 to after Central Festival on Beach Rd.
