  1. Wait...What?

I thought that other guy "confessed" already and there are approx. 35 other arrest warrants issued!

Now they have a new guy, who -as I read it- should have been on the list from the beginning?

I hope, someone gives them some money to file pictures, this time!coffee1.gif

The bombers had meetings with Aod many times before the bombing that was the statement from the bombers

"the bombers". What is your basis for this word? The world has been given no 1st-world level evidence since August 15 who the bombers are.

  2. Has the public been informed yet what language the primary suspect speaks? If he has been "interrogated", by whom? Torture doesn't need language but a consequent confession does. As has been mentioned last week, if the Primary Suspect confessed to the appointed lawyer, what language did the PS use. His appointed lawyer never informed us, did he? How many suspects are we up to now in how many countries?

the primary suspect is the guy that dropped the bomb off, from all accounts he didnt trigger it and it seems he didnt organize it either, he just did it for the money it seems. who knows but Im not sure why the police are making him the media focus

If what you say has been stated by Thai Police, do we know how Thai Police know? What language did he use, who in the Thai Police knew his language. Have Thai Police made clear how he communicated?

  4. I stumbled on a website weeks back that I assumed would inform me of Liverpool's most recent Premier League triumph. The name of the site: whatsthescore.com Access to the site: Denied. For three weeks.

That is a level of stupidity typical of everything, no exception, the current administration handles so I'm not too worried about their firewall. My guess is they will give it a real try, not just the elbow in the bath-water --then be informed of the ghastly consequences, precisely like the alcohol ban that, till now, is the single most stupid "plan" [it's interesting that Thai had to import the falang word]. We all stay tuned.

  5. Can anyone on TV supply a website or citation for the situation where someone, let's take the head of the current Thai administration, is allowed to attend the United Nations but, like Thailand's head of the current administration, is banned from the United States[, the UK and the EU]. To give another example, Mugabe has been diligent in attending UN / FAO meetings in Rome while banned from the EU.

Is Thailand's representative limited to going from the Thai Consulate to the UN? Can he go shopping at the Apple store on 5th Avenue, miles from the UN? A small question but a large principle of international law.

Sanctioned foreign nationals participating in the September UN General Assembly meeting in New York City are subject to travel restrictions while in the United States by the USA government:

"Certain members of delegations to the UN are required to notify us or obtain permission prior to travel outside of a 25-mile radius of Columbus Circle in New York City,"

The USA has not sanctioned any of the Thai UN delegation but if it had they could still shop in NYC.

    Thanks.

Can alcohol be served within that 25-mile radius?

  7. The current administration in Bangkok does what I think no other government in the world does, routinely states what the other party said in private meetings, which is to say "mis-states" -- or they wouldn't be saying anything.. Thai Police know no shame but that's an internal matter: this is a separate issue, involving more than shamelessness. To "quote" the other party after a meeting is a huge violation of international protocol. Like the current administation cares.

  8. "If all those 10 explosive devices had been planted, they would have caused massive damage to Thailand. Thanks to all the sacred beings, the country was spared from disaster," Somyot said.

It must've been all the amulets bought from the honored vendors at the talads that saved this holy country.

Just a little bit of trivia for you - as tragic as the Erawan blast was, it actually could have been much higher. As it occurred on a Monday, there were no flower sellers and other stall holders crowed along the footpath as on other days. Just shows you that bureaucracy (and fate) had a hand in keeping these people from becoming potential victims too.

It has been said that the elements within Thailand who arranged this bombing were well aware of the day the Thai vendors are not at the shrine since the focus was on harming foreigners, not killing fellow Thais.

  9. I am and the Thai people are grateful to the police that they caught this guy early or it would have been worse as the police said there were enough to build 10 bombs. I feel disgusted by these farangs hungry for more innocent deaths by saying he is not the bomber when CCTV clearly show it is him including cell phone records.

"early". So if I show up at an aerodrome a week late, I'm "early"? Pray supply us your definition of "early" as it does not match any known to the English language.

  10. As I have said before all this is very easy to verify if they wanted to. Just make him reenact what he did and view it from same CCTV camera as before, if its the same guy his height will give it away, if he's not the guy the CCTV footage will be obviously different

I don't get it you guys didn't see the news by the Nation posted this morning 1am or are you guys ignoring it the picture shows him clearly after he changed clothes at Lumpinee Park

    http://www.nationmultimedia.com/national/Suspect-confesses-he-planted-shrine-bomb-30269521.html?

Agreed, that is definitely the same guy. So why hasn't the police shared this knowledge until now, and why are they saying that some guy in Malaysia is the bomber? The best police in the world? Yeah right...

The Thai police did not say the Malaysian have the bomber it is the Malaysian that said they believe they have the bomber now we know why the Thai police were not interested and you guys were bashing them at that time well because they have the real bomber. They might not have made it public because they might have wanted some more info by playing dumb

"playing dumb". That's enough to deserve a financial reward.

  11. Seems quite damning to me, footage of the bomber entering a toilet, out comes with changed clothes and no wig, glasses or armbands, he looks very much like Karadag, then CCTV footage of Karadag wearing the same clothes arriving at his condo.

That and the evidence of bomb making makes it a slam dunk.

And then this mass murderer sat in his apartment for over a week waiting and waiting and waiting for Thai Police to enter. Case closed.

  12. the scene is looking different

No, it's exactly the same as before; the prosecution never claimed DNA from the defendants was found on the hoe. The only thing that has come from the independent testing of it is that it was, indeed, the murder weapon; so nothing new.

Meanwhile the actual DNA evidence the prosecution is basing their case on is being contested only indirectly by trying to discredit the process that yielded the results, instead of the actual results themselves; which I don't think carries much weight because it's not possible to by mistake or accident arrive at two DNA profiles matching the defendants.

The only thing that would produce a match is a deliberate faking of the results after the two defendants were arrested, and until they can provide any sort of evidence for such thing, IMO, the DNA evidence still stands.

It's a very interesting point you make and on the surface it sounds correct. But not linking the murder weapon to the accused is a serious blow for the persecution for sure. Even if they can prove without doubt that the men had sex with Hannah that does not mean that they killed her, I know how that sounds but it has to be proved beyond reasonable doubt.

Also, although I know nothing about the UK pathologist report as it is not allowed to be made public I do know from the press releases that in the UK that they have sent a report back to Thailand as they have "serious concerns" over the pathologist report from Thailand. It is inferred that the information will help the defence, again no now knows what that is but it does create doubt.

It is possible that the DNA tests were not conducted correctly for the samples allegedly found. If this proves to be the case what evidence is left that these b2 actually committed the crime? I assume you at least acknowledge this as a possibility.

All we can hope for is the outcome is the right one and that whoever is truly responsible is brought to justice, if it turns out to be the B2 then so be it but I have to say from the limited information we all have there are some very serious doubts and the prosecution will have a tough time proving their guilt.

Of course I acknowledge the possibility that the tests were not done according to whatever standards one may want to establish; but as I have said repeatedly there's no mishandling of the evidence or errors in the analysis that would yield not one but two matching DNA profiles. The only way that would be possible would be by deliberate malfeasance so that is what the defense needs to do to, IMO, dismiss the evidence.

I'm not going to feel satisfied with what amounts to "Well it could had been wrong, so there".

As for that evidence only proving they had sex with Witheridge, no, it also proves that they lied when they claimed they had nothing to do with anything, and if they lied about that what else did they lie about?

If they did when did that happen and why didn't they tell anyone at any time about it?

Mind you they have also already admitted of having a phone identical to the one that was taken from Miller since the night of the murders, so they just happened to have consensual sex with one of the victims and just happened to "find" the phone of the other?

I was waiting to hear an explanation to the extremely suspicious beheaviour and circumstances of the two defendants but so far I haven't seen anything in that regard, some people have been accused of being involved in the murders on much less grounds than these two.

"the extremely suspicious beheaviour [sic erat scriptum] and circumstances of the two defendants" Sez who besides you?

  13. Most of the kids around here don't give a d2mn about English! They probably don't understand why they should be learning it, when in fact it's the rest of the world that should be learning Thai.

But there was one kid here last year that could speech very good conversational English....which I though would auger well for him in the future.

"... which I though would auger well for him in the future." This is not correct English. You should be using "augur". My point being "Who Cares?" If you verbally get across to someone what you intend to communicate, you're way ahead of the grammarian jumping all over you for using the rong wurd.

  14. "Let's play by the rules. When he [Thaksin] was in office, I never interfered,"

Fact: Thaksin was overthrown in a military coup on 19 September 2006. Prayuth was a then Maj. General who helped army chief General Sonthi Boonyaratglin seize control of the Thaksin government.

Fact: Yingluck was overthrown in a military coup in May 2014 led by army chief Prayut who then abolished the Constitution.

I fear that Prayut at best has Alzheimer's disease or a Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), aka multiple personality disorder. Such a condition would be a national concern for Thailand's security.

You might want to do some reading up!

How so? Prayut was a Major General in 2006 and was instrumental in the 2006 coup. Here, you too can do some "reading up"

    http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/asia/thailand-coup-detat-profile-of-general-prayuth-chanocha-9421094.html

Will also help Elviajero to read up on Prayuth's involvement in setting up the Ahbisit government in the army barrack. He is clueless or just in denial.

Is there a mechanism on this thread for electing a Queen of Denial. There are three candidates.

  15. I don't know the RTP trying to keep framing these 2 small Burmese guys when there is no credible DNA match-do they hate the Burmese so much or is this a cover up for the 'Mafia' on the island?

    Yes, and yes.

From what I hear in the very rural north, the first falang to live in my wee village I'm told, the name of the Mafia brat who is the murderer is known to tens of thousands of Thais, falang and Burmese. And, of course, from Day One, by Thai Police.
