Maybe if they made the current rules public it would be easier to follow them. I have looked everywhere for first hand information but have not found much and pretty much nothing in English.
How can you penalize people if you don't make the exact regulations public?

Seems to me that these African traders somehow skipped the testing and quarantine but I could be wrong.

300Baht is nothing for any tourist flying in to Thailand. Brilliant idea as long as the funds are well spent.

As long as you have the warning lights flashing in Thailand you can do anything. They automatically cancel out any traffic laws and regulations.

If foreigners in Phuket are being forced to pay for a Covid test, you can pretty much guarantee they will be charged for the vaccine. At least read the subject of the thread you are posting in:

For me this is too small to read easily.
Has anyone with better eyesight than me who is really bored, read anything about not having to wear a mask while exercising - i.e. running or cycling?
I remember a week or so ago it was exempted, but I wonder if it still has that exemption now?
I hasten to add that I live in Udon, not Phuket, but would be interested to know if all the provinces appear to be following the same wording/ regulations regarding cycling and mask wearing.
That order still say that you are excluded from wearing a mask while consuming food or beverage and while exercising.

With so many foreigners living in Thailand they should post all these orders in English so we all know what is going on. All other civilized countries keep everyone informed in at least the local language and English, often in many other languages as well.

Everyone I see on a motorbike have a mask. Covid have killed about 100 people in one year here in Thailand. If no mask there is a possible 20,000Baht fine
Less than 30% of people on a motorbike have a helmet. Motorbike traffic deaths, mostly due to not wearing a helmet, are around 20,000 per year. If no helmet there is a 200Baht fine!!!!!

If the government allowed private hospitals to import vaccines all foreigners could be vaccinated and a large number of Thai people would also get the shot for reasonable price.
This would take a big load of the government and ensure that most people get vaccinated as soon as possible.

With absolute control as a czar comes absolute responsibility, I think most czars have had a bad ending to their rule. I hope this ends well.

There seems to be zero planing regarding anything covid. Things change everyday without warning. Koh Chang to close for 3 weeks on Monday, on Tuesday it's open again. No forward planing what so ever.

Protocols change by the hour. How can you keep up ?
There is something called internet where you could keep an updated web page, in a few different languages.
Pattaya city have a web page but it's all in Thai even if there is a very large foreign population living there.

"The post called for all people to follow Covid-19 protocols to the letter"
It would help if they make these protocols widely available so people know what they are.

The only rule I have seen regarding this is no gatherings of 50 people and more.
Is it OK for 5 to 6 people to get together for a few beers in a private home?

That makes a lot of sense. It's safer if more people travel within a short time period than spreading it out, with less crowds over a longer time, Thai logic ???

So everyone who have a license expiring 30th June have to renew the license that day or they will be driving with an expired license??

Any corrupt government official should be locked up for a very long time. Corruption is the main problem in Thailand and despite promises from the present government it is still the same, or worse.

Just hope they find the government officials that made it possible, corruption is killing Thailand.

I hope these prisoners are being fined for for congregating in groups larger than 20 people.
