Well done. If Thailand want to be a big agricultural food exporter they need to act as New Zealand and ban the use of all dangerous pesticides, GMO, antibiotics, hormones and other possibly dangerous additions to their agricultural practices.

Blood test for what?? This makes no sense at all unless they say what they are testing the blood for.

Crush the whole Bikes then you might get their attention. Also time to raid and close down every workshop making such Exhaust Systems and Jail the owners; do that a few times and the problem will go away !
Agree 100%
A new exhaust will be back on the bike for a few hundred Baht and the problem will be there again.

Never seen white sand in Thailand so assume it's coloured with some toxic substance.

Caddies should of course be covered by their employer, the golf course. This is normal practice for most work places.

I wonder when PETA will ask for banning of the use of buffaloes for plowing rice fields, horse racing, guide dogs for blind, emotional support animals, sniffer dogs, mine sniffing rats, dog racing. The list goes on forever not even counting animals bread for food.

From what I have seen before here on Thai visa many of the gold shops are owned by police officers and the security guards there are off duty police officers.

No such problem in Pattaya as most sidewalks have been stolen from the city by business owners

As usual they are just sitting there flipping a coin to make decisions without any care of letting people get some time to adjust to the situation.

The ThaiChana app was mentioned frequently. This app was promised to be available in English long time ago but is still not. Was this a lie or has someone seen this app in English?
-
Just installed yesterdays update of this app. Still not in English!!!!
-
Is he proposing several songkran water wars during the year ?
-
More and more places require you to use the Thai Chana app. This is now supposed to be in English but as far as I can see this is not the case. Can anyone let me know if they can get this app running in English.

Yeah but I think the suggestion is to leave it up to the juristic management to decide. Some places may have tourists stuck in their AirBnB rentals. Other places may be vacant of tourists because of the ban on incoming flights. I don't fault the restrictions up to now but going forward, if outdoor areas are opening up, then I think condo pools could be included in that. Large gatherings will still not be allowed even in the public parks.
It IS up to the juristic management of each condo to decide if to close or keep open. Only public pools have to close.

Thai visa is usually on top of things. Would it be possible to have a pinned subject with the latest rules as there is no other place these can be found, at least not in English.

Rules are changing on almost a daily basis. I read Pattaya News everyday.
I could not find any rules on this site. I did have a look at the official Pattaya site
This is of course only in Thai even if Pattaya totaly depends on foreigners coming here, so no info there. Searched for Pattaya City Call Center 1337 but they only have a facebook site which is just as useless as all other facebook sites compared to a properly designed web site.
If they do arrest foreigners there should be some way foreigners could keep up to date with the rules, where is this?
-
Do anyone have a link to the actual rules that are in place in Pattaya/Thailand at the moment?

the idea is to stop you traveling unless you have a good reason
I realize that but there is no information on what proof you need to give for leaving Pattaya for a few hours.

you need a residence certificate from Immigration, you still have time if you leave now, take a mask and gloves
That makes a lot of sense as all they need to give you a residence certificate is your drivers license

This is a lock down for in and out traffic but there is no information what you need to leave Pattaya. What do I need if leaving Pattaya to go to Satahip for a few
hours and then return.
Will a drivers license with your address and a passport be OK to return, do you need any evidence of why you have to leave Pattaya??

"No activities in public areas" covers everything you do outside your home!!
Does this mean you can not go out anymore, even to buy food?

Pattaya: Monorail favored over trams as plans set to go to cabinet - only 45 baht end to end

Elevated tracks will not "float" in the air they will take up much needed real estate on the already crowded Pattaya roads.
The bus system we had several years ago, with 3 lines, was a big flop as nobody used it. Too expensive, long time between buses and long distance between stops.
For convenience, cost and flexibility it would be much better to keep the baht buses but regulate them better.
In the end there will still be baht busses around to cater for routes not covered by the mono rail.
