But surely, you could take the video to the police. That might yield a result, especially if you tell them about a reward!

Or get a photo of the thief holding (not wearing)  the helmet, most usably with his bike rego plate in the photo.

Is your post just being sarcastic, or do you believe what you posted?  Masks do work at reducing the contact one has with the droplets of others.

All agreed but I have been waiting months for that. So obvious ( but so convenient to wear with a separate filter pad inside)  Sigh!!!!     Alibaba adverts always seem to say "not appropriate for viral protection," or something like that.

Indeed but it's really global now. I just heard today vaccine hesitancy in South Africa is being driven by American misinformation sources like Joe Rogan. I've also heard that Facebook is particularly weak in addressing misinformation in non English languages, particularly Spanish in Latin America.

Saying Facebook is particularly weak is very very polite way of describing that organizations principles' appalling attitude

Was not looking where she was going and was allowed out on a motorcycle by her parents (who possibly paid for the bike)....

Sad, tragic even... But, it is quite the social norm for children to be riding around on motorcycles without helmets.

Blame the parents for letting there kids ride their motorcycles... But blame the police for their culturally ingrained apathy towards enforcing any road safety measures whatsoever.

What do you expect? Kids don't have money for cash fines!

  5. I did it for years but about 2 or 3 years a study was done (in Australia, I think) that said it introduces as many or more risks of different types than it protects against.   I believe there was more than one study in different places.  I would still take on before flying but have stopped my daily 80gm a day.   If I die early from a heart attack I will re-post from my new home.

Man with a gun entered another mans house

Owner beats him to death...where is the problem?

Who cares what dead man's mother claims he may or may not have had cash wise? That he previously "had" 300k baht does not mean  a thing in this story. This story is centered around an armed intrusion into another mans home period.

Bottom line any intruder found with a gun in my house at night will be found there in the morning (albeit motionless)

Side Show: This Thai man was supposedly having an affair with the Swiss mans wife....Now he shows up after midnight with a gun in the Swiss mans house? Guess what the plan actually was at that point?

Now dead Thai man's mother makes a claim the dead man had 300k baht & what?? Udon Police visit Swiss man why? They think maybe he set it all up? Had Thai man appear at his home with gun & 300k so Swiss could rob him? Amazing Thailand

The truth or falsehood of the land transaction should be relatively easy to prove one way or another. Exactly where the money was at the time as another question. Not to mention, why would anyone break into a house with a gun, and with 300,000 baht in their pockets. Kind of hard to believe.

You said because he has not been found guilty in court. I am stating that even in the UK and Netherlands they show the face of suspects to catch them. That is before a court case happens. In this case the guy is on the run and it makes sense to show his face to track him down. If he is innocent then he can get a retraction in the newspapers. But like you i too think its highly unlikely that he is not guilty.

At this stage he is legally considered "a person of interest."

Thailand just doesn’t have proper accountability and response plans for aggressive dogs…

should look to the west to see how  other countries manage dog attacks  but it won’t b/c thailand manages their dogs under cultural uniqueness…

Based on 5 .5 years full time experience, may I suggestbtgat the first sentence should have finished just before "and."  It is just so easy for normal simple things to get completely out of hand in LOS.  Glad to be back living somewhere that speaking in general terms, only the weather is beyond prediction.

  9. If theory was extracted as a fine pr a fee for government services then it might well be seen as theft as a servant which is a serious crime in most  civilized countries!  That's almost saying enough, because of course, TIT!!!!!!!  and of course no Thai policeman is likely to ever be found guiltily of that or anything else, including probably, MURDER!!
