Many Foreigners Arrested with Drugs at Luxury Karaoke Shop
outsider replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
Chinese? I thought they were barred from leaving their motherland. Or was this lot remnants of the COVID exodus who missed the boat home? -
MP To Swim Across Chao Phraya River To Raise Money For Flood Victims
outsider replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I believe he knows what he's doing/getting himself into. Swimming across the CP and back isn't so much the issue, as opposed to the level of pollution in it. Still, I do hope it all ends well and he does get the funding to help flood victims. -
Cabinet set to consider 4am closing for entertainment venues in Thailand
outsider replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
So there is more time for the brown clowns to conduct more raids, collect more tea money and harass more tourists. No, scrap the last one. They just promised to be committed to the protection and welfare of tourists. Damn and blast. -
I don't condone what the falang did. Subin could be one of the better riders and was just making an honest living and if so, does not deserve what happened. But, on the other hand, it is somewhat amusing to find that the boot is sometimes on the other foot.

Suspended PM insists his term in office has not yet expired
outsider replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
This coming from a man-child who allegedly bawled his eyes out under the pressure of being 'forced' to be the PM when the whole malarkey started, and promised that he will do it only for as long as it is necessary to restore order. What a power-hungry, barefaced lying sack of <deleted>. -
Tourism ministry dual pricing proposal for hotel rates
outsider replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
This is to maintain your standards of blatant discrimination and assuming foreigners are diots, that's what it really is. What you don't realise is, you're no longer the No. 1 destination and it's a slippery slope hereon, with this level of stupidity.- 349 replies

Before the pandemic, some Thais wore masks in crowded places i.e. in the trains, shopping centres etc. Some of my colleagues come into the office with masks because they woke up with a bit of a sniffle that morning. Whether they are being considerate and mindful of not sharing their droplets with others, or they do not want to receive any, or they just want to hide behind a veil, let them be. As far as I can see, mask-wearing was never an issue pre-pandemic and shouldn't be one now. If you want to wear it, go ahead. If not, don't.

Oh <deleted> get off your holier-than-thou mule please! It's not like you gits did not watch it in glee (some with a roll of tissue, I'd presume) and then decided to 'preserve the dignity of the area' when you did not think the vdo was good enough for keeps and reruns later. It's not like the couple were insulting the royal institution or religion or anything. What did you expect two adults to do in the same room, in that kind of setting? If people want to be exhibitionists, let them be. If you want to watch, go ahead. If not, then don't. Stop meddling in people's affairs and being a self-appointed guardian.

Doing that speed on a road as narrow as that, near an intersection, with traffic to boot, shows this Norawich Buadok is nothing but a brain-dead tw@t. In Thailand, even if all the vehicles are stopped before a zebra crossing (rare), one must still peer down the narrow gaps and crevices between stopped cars to make sure no idiots like Buadok is charging along.
