  1. Inspired by a bread topic from another user I thought I would share my super easy and really tasty bread recipe.

Total work time less then 20 minutes.
Start to finish less then 4 hours.

    In a bowl add:
    3 cups bread flour
    1 cup whole weat flour
    4 tablespoons milk powder
6-7 gr (big teaspoon) instant yeast
    Little over 1/2 teaspoon salt
    Stir to combine

    Add:
1 1/2 cup of water (room temperature)
    Mix for 5 minutes

I use a mixing machine, but you can also mix with a wooden spoon, double the mixing time to 10 minutes.

Let it rest for 5 minutes

    Add:
    1 teaspoon of olive oil
    1/4 cup roasted pumpkin seeds
    1/4 cup roasted sunflower seeds

    1 table spoons sesame seeds
Mix for another 5 minutes (Add water or dough by the teaspoon if to dry or to wet)

Double the time if you mix with a spoon.

Cover and let it rest until it's more then doubled in size. Usually I let it sit 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

Punch the dough down a little and scrape it out in to a bread pan covered in parchment paper. (Easy to clean and the bread comes out easy every time)
Shape lightly to fit the pan.
Sprinkle with some bread flour to get a rustic bread look.

Cover and let it rest until doubled in size again. Around 90 minutes

OPTIONAL (I actually don't do this anymore because it made no difference for my bread)
Scorch the top lengthwise in the middle with scissors in a snipping motion. (Much easier then a knife)

Bake for 30 minutes at 180c. in a preheated oven. My toaster oven gets really hot so I preheat at 180c. but I bake at 160c.

I preheat the oven with a baking tray (or pizza stone) inside at the bottom. Put the bread pan on the baking tray when you start baking so that the bottom of the bread gets a nice browning aswell.

You can start slicing after about 30 minutes. I only slice what I will eat. The rest of the bread goes in the fridge wrapped in a kitchen towel.

Every day I take it out the fridge, cut a couple slices and microwave them for 15 seconds.

The bread last for about 5 days this way.

Some pictures and a badly shot video for your viewing pleasure.

    Happy eating!

l have been with my lady 4 years next month , I help to support her and am happy to do so. If she went tommorow I would be down maybe10 grand but the time with her has been worth more than a few digits on a bank statement.

Isn't this just you thinking wrong? Why is your 4 years of happiness loosing 10 grand justified. She spent equal happy time with you and gained 10 grand

  3. Actually the shoarma shop relocated about 200 meters. If you stand in front craft intersect walk along sukhumvit towards bangna and turn right at the 7-11 and is about 50 meters in the soi on the left hand side. It's a weird location, not easy to find if you don't know it.

  4. Rather think Thais would be calling for capital punishment. Interesting comparison between the attitudes of Thailand and The Netherlands.

Man gets 30 days in jail for insulting the Dutch king

    or this link

I'm Dutch and I didn't even know that was possible. I approve and don't approve. It's a fine line I guess.

I'm a big believer of freedom of speech so I don't approve. But anything IS related I don't approve with and obviously this is not satire, so where do you draw the line...

  6. Anyone know a badminton court not to far from bts udomsuk? 15 minutes walk max.

    I can't find any!

Don't know anywhere in a 15 minute walk but if you take a bike from the BTS and turn on to Udom Suk 51 then take a turn on to Soi Prewit Lae Phuen 14 there is a big badminton center there. About 10 mins bike and cost be about 50b

    Is that the bestminton place?

I was hoping for something a little closer. But thanks anyway!

Auch. I see online that bestminton courts are 400 baht per hour, that's really steep in my opinion.

  7. I have absolutely no problem with selfies. It's innocent fun to share with others. No one gets harmed, it is safe, not harmful to the health of others, and does not pollute the environment. I can't say that about smokers. Don't get get me started.

    Please do get started!

I like to hear how you spend every waking moment of your life in your condo or only go outside with a mouth cap because traffic pollution is even worse.

    Enlighten me please.

  9. Cheers for suggestions.

Local, putting on more...particularly lean proteins but carbs and 'vegetable matter' all good. The gai part of kao man gai seems ok.

I thought the same. But I've been told it's just fat rice with a small bit of chicken
