Fine. Seems you haven't read all of my posts. 18 Extensions all based on income (although I'm married) Never asked for a Blue Book. Talking to friends here today (who I must admit it's ages since I've seen them), they have never been asked for a blue book either. They were quite surprised. They did recommend an agent whom they have all used for years. I will go see them Monday morning. I won't name them yet until I've seen them.,

I have a problem with my extension and need the name of a good Agent. I friend told me years ago his agent was brilliant, but I can't remember the name. If anyone knows a really good one who can solve problems, can they let me know. PM me if it's complicated about how good they are. Thanks

I am in the process of doing my 18th Visa Extension. I meet all the financial requirements. However, this ct, I have been told by immigration that I need the Blue Book. Never asked for it before, in fact, we don't even have one. My wife, who is miles away looking after her sick father, will have to come back to Pattaya so we can go to the Banglamang office and get one.

Pattaya. My main point is if my paperwork has been enough for the past 18 extensions, why is it not now? And as I said before, I have done the TM30 years ago and nothing has changed.

I did the TM30 years ago. last year was the first time I can remember being asked for proof of address, and I was told a copy of my Driving License was enough The Bank Statement and Wise transaction were sufficient proof of the money's origin . My extension has always been based on 65,000 baht a month. As for talking to the Bank, I need to know if my nearest Bangkok Bank is OK or will I have to go to my home branch, as I did for the Bank Letter?. I hope this explains things and somebody can answer my question. I don't want to, but would an agent solve my problem?

Last year, to prove my address, I had to do a copy of my Driving Licence. This year to make sure I had a copy of my Electricity Bill and my 3BB bill as well. Guess what, not enough. They want a copy of my House book, which I don't have. I have owned my condo ( alright, my wife is the official owner) for 25 years. I have never seen my House book. I have never had to show it before. I am on my 19th extension. Also, when I went today, I was told that I need a summary from the bank for Foreign transactions. This I have never needed before. The year's statement was enough. I will go back with the only paperwork I have on the condo. I would like to know if asking the bank for a summary of Foreign Transaction can be done on the spot, or does it take a week, also a local bank or home branch. Thank you for any replies. PS I'm convinced that it is a plot to encourage you to use an agent, as it's getting more complicated over the years. It seems every year they add something.

I don't suppose it helps when The Times ran a Travel item a week or so ago. It stated wonderful country, beautiful beaches, incrdiblel food and lovely people, and cheaper than Thailand. The article was about Malaysia.

The point was, I'm getting old, so I keep a list of things to do and how. As I said, I made a mistake and lost it. My memory isn't as reliable any more. So, thank you for posting that link. I want to ensure I don't have to do too many trips to immigration or the bank.

What about the bikes for rent on Beach Road? Pattaya passed a new Bylaw some years ago banning the rental bikes on Beach Road at the weekend. At some parts of Beach Road they take up all the available parking places on the east side of the street. The police do nothing, but the traffic police in Pattaya don't even do anything about moving traffic offences.

The other day (planning ahead), I thought of a nice stew topped with Dumplings for a change. In Pattaya, we are spoilt for choice of shops. So on my next shop, I went to Friendship and looked for Self-Raising Flour. They didn't have any, I know they used to. So onto the internet. Villa has it. The following day I called into Best to buy my wine and check their flour. Nope, so on to Villa. Guess what, they didn't have it either. Back on the net, I checked Tops as I had to go to Tuk.com. Yes, they do stock it. Liars. So this morning, as I was going to 3BB on Thepprasit I checked the net again for Lotus's. Yes, and they stock 3 different makes. Wow. I thought they must have at least one. Wrong again. I didn't think I could get angry over a stupid thing like Self Raising Flour! Before anybody adds a comment. I know I can make it myself but over the years I have always bought it.

I have a problem with my computer, well , it's not so much with my computer it's with me. I don't know what I'm doing. I'm 78 and my knowledge is very very basic. My internet feed is as fast as ever, but only use it for simple things. When I lost HD Prime I thought it would be simple to replace. So the other day I downloaded Wizz and Surfshark , signed up for a year for one and 3 years for the other. All well and good but when I tried to use them I couldn't. I don't know what to do. I need somebody to come and work their magic so I can use them. Telling me what to do doesn't help. Payment is no problem. I live in a condo just off Thepprasit Road. Can anybody help or knows somebody who can. I'm deaf so a phone call doesn't help. With F1 just starting and the IPL coming up soon I hope some body can.
