What the UK Government forgets is that people living abroad don't use the NHS, and they don't claim any other benefits that people receive if they lived there. That would more than pay any money paid to pensioners here. I have been in hospital 5 times in the years I have lived here. I paid. Cost to the NHS -nothing.

I think the family already had a bad reputation before this. Like father like son etc.

Hi Jingthing. While we are on the subject of Chinese food can you tell me of a westernized Chinese Restaurant in Pattaya. I always used Choy Soy before.

It seems to me that the private company collected the money and forgot to pass it on. So the water company is going after the individuals instead of the company.

There is a big difference between drinking at home and popping out to the local for a bevvy. People on holiday don't really want to sit in their hotel room drinking, and of course there is also the possibility that don't know until they go out in the evening. Regular drinkers who live here know exactly where to go to get served.

As somebody wrote earlier these things should be Idiot proof, Child proof, Disabled People proof etc. A slight distraction at the end of an Escalator or Moving Walkway shouldn't cause you to loose your leg or your slipper.

But we do think about it occasionally.

My father worked in a brewery. Every Friday he went to the tasting room with the Brewer and had a couple of pints. He said it was the best tasting Bitter he had had for years. He moaned that it was never the same in pubs. Kept in the wrong conditions and they didn't clean the pipes often enough.

If they fail to get Pita elected I would suggest that they say to who ever wins. "So, you want to play hardball, we can play hardball too. We will vote against every motion you put forward. Everything." This would make the country ingoveranable and force them to hold another election.

The police should come to Thepprasit Road Pattaya. Since building the stupid meridian strip the number of motorcycles on the wrong side has more than tripled. After I turn into Thepprasit I have to ride a couple of hundred yards to the u-turn. In that distance I normally meet three or four bikes coming towards me, every time.

I always thought I was a better driver back in the UK after driving here. Much more aware of traffic around me.
