  1. Yeah my girlfriend is more of a person to ask if the girl is good AFTER the person has been found. She can judge the character she just isn't sure where to find them.

His cousin recently married a thai girl he met on the Internet. I'm sure he's not completely against that.

He did say she can have kids already just no awkward husband situation. The thing is most of us aren't even aware of these scenarios till after we meet the girl.

My girlfriend made me think she was more normal but then you start to unearth the good stuff.

Lol. Anyways. I'm not looking for perfect here nor is he. Let's simplify it. Where to find a good girl as opposed to a bar girl.

What's wrong with bar girl I've been with one for 6 years

Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect Thailand

  2. do tourists really come here specifically for songkran? or do they just happen to be here during songkran? before i lived here i had no idea about songkran. is songkran really that widely known about outside thailand?

Same as you I've lived here 6 years and never heard of it before I came and I never here of it when I go home, myself and most of my friends leave Pattaya when it's on it goes to long bloody moron Falangs.

  3. I was divorced 3 times while in the U.S.: two Jewish American Princesses (JAP) and a Phillipina American Princess (PAP). On each of the 3 ocassions, my wife at the time and I used the same attorney to handle the divorce which was uncontested and amicable. Save the legal fees and find the right woman - they're out there if you're patient and shoot straight.

Re. OP's "Save the legal fees and find the right woman ..." With three marriages ending in three divorces, I wouldn't say this guy's good at finding the "right woman" ... also, evidently he's much better at spotting fake jewelry that fake orgasms.

    Couldn't have said it better.

  4. Many (most) women love sex for just fun or as a sport once they've permission, it's social taboos holding them back. But I agree it's more rare for them to allow it to take over their whole life.

How many women under 30 move to a different country for sex? I've never even heard of one. A lot of young men here have moved to Thailand because of sex (or a reasonable facsimile). If the men in the West are so handsome why don't Thai ladies move to the West to butterfly?

In agreement with my point - few women orient their whole life around their sex organs.

And of course much easier for girls to get laid when they want to, no need for them to have to travel for it. Or pay.

  5. Your passport would have been scanned at departure from OZ if its a bio passport Australia do not stamp you out unless you do not have a bio passport

Australia has also done away with visa stickers, unless they are requested and paid for (at a cost of $75). The visa is tied electronically to your passport number.

All this is a shame if you ask me. Stamps and visas make very nice trip souvenirs, and as more countries abandon them we'll miss thumbing through our passports and recalling all the trips we've made as we look at the stamps.

Not having stamps can also cause the kind of confusion that the OP encountered, and makes it hard to keep an accurate record of time spent in a country for tax and immigration purposes.

For me, and others like me who travel regularly it is certainly not a shame, I get through on average a new passport every thirty months. It annoys me greatly when many countries take a whole page to plonk a visa

I couldn't agree more I would rather my passport lasted longer, I can remember where I've been but I can't allways recall where my old passports are

  6. ... and you have said it in one.

You want a style of cuisine that the Fast Food companies made popular ... facepalm.gif

If you want 'real' Chinese food .. go to China.

Well I've been to China and the food is rubbish compared to UK Australia USA

    rolleyes.gif

No the first two dishes ARE NOT fast food cuisine. I guess you never been to a real Chinese restaurant that serves those dishes.

  7. This mosque should have been given the approval to be built only if and when those

Islamic terrorists that kills thousands of innocent Thai people will cease and decease

    from the terror activities,

This policy of appeasement will not work and only will strength their resolve to set up

an Islamic entity in the south of Thailand...

What about all the Muslims who aren't terrorists? Are they not entitled to a place of worship, if other religions are?

And how does the presence of an additional mosque impact on the prevalence of terrorism, anyway? Or are you just doing that thing like in school where the teacher punishes the whole class for one pupil's actions, draconian methodology really which will only cause further resentment amongst minority groups.

    .

The Thais are just playing into the Muslims hands everywhere they are there's trouble they just don't know or want to assimilate.

  8. If you're not already in Thailand I'd advise you to cancel any plans you have to fly into Bangkok. Go to the Philippines instead.

If you're already in Thailand I'd advise you to go to Bangkok.

    [/quot

e]. Bill not so smart why would you recommend to go to Bangkok.Go to Pattaya there still waiting for their high season, I will be back on the 18th and have no worrys about doing so.

  9. ''but just advise them to stay away from the areas where protests are held as there was possibility that large scale protest could break out.''

    Yes indeed. People be warned....

These protests bring a lot of people together in the same place...

Lots of body heat there in addition to the hot weather....darn it.

Difficult already to try to keep the beer cold...

    Stay home...

And to say that my home country is part of that... Well. beer easily keeps very cold in my country....whistling.gif

. Does anyone know if there are protesters near Australian consulate as I have to go there tomorrow or Friday
  10. Officer said to me that my stat dec didnt have enough info on it

I said Embassy said they are not a bank and not responsible to prove anything and the Embassy is only stamping the stat dec to verify that the person had written it and signed it in front of them. Thats what a stat dec is.

    They still approved it though.

Just smile a lot when you are at Immigration.

. Thanks for that sounds like a good idea Cheers Fred
  11. Officially (read: OFFICIALLY) you must have proof of outbound-travel arrangements by air if you use the visa-exempt option.

Immigration or airliner not asking for it doesn't mean anything. Point is, if (read: IF) you are getting refused entry because of the lack of outbound-travel arrangements, the airliner has to take you back to your original destination.

If people say: I've been traveling hundreds of times and have never been checked; possible, but at some point, Thai immigration will pick-up the enforcement of the regulation.

For the OP: I went to KL and BDO last week and upon return from KL to DMK (yesterday) AirAsia didn't check for any flight-arrangement neither did immigration.

. Was only asked once by Thai Airways in Perth when I pointed out I had a1year visa it was fine.
  12. Well, referrring to the website the 399 Baht is a monthly "flatrate".

So whether you are connected or not, does not matter regarding to money.

The device seems to be a combination of WiFi and UMTS (mobile internet).

(I hope I got that right?)

For WiFi connections there is absolutely no limit.

If you are connected via UMTS (3g) however, then traffic/data is the problem (pseudo "flatrate):

there is a data limit of 1GB per month, after which your connection speed will be throttled to 64 kBit/s!

If there is any "hidden" traffic (e.g.: automatic updates of any kind) it will eat up your data volume.

Its always worth to switch off those automatic donwload/update mechanisms with such a tariff.

. That is great advice you have all that information correct about my internet I will turn off all automatic updates. thank you
  13. Your package includes a certain amount of 3G traffic, that means you can use the fast 3G internet until your traffic is finished, then your connection speed will be limited (but it's unlimited after that). I'm not sure about your package, but usually they give something between 500MB and 3GB 3G traffic (which is not that much these days). Even when you don't actively use the internet and are just connected to some messengers, it will still "cost" you traffic. But of course, much less. The worst thing that can happen to you is that your 3G speed has been used up and your speed gets limited. No matter what, they won't charge you more during this month because the low speed internet is unlimited.

. Thanks that makes sense to me,mine is as all portable modem that I use for my ipad as that doesn't have a sim.
  14. Hi I know this sounds dumb. I bought an AIS pocket wifi and paid 400 baht for 1 month, my question is if I am not using the internet but I leave the modem on and am still connected is it still using my money. Thanks Fred
