In quarantine they would complain

- it's too hot

- room too small

- room dirty

- CCTV is unnecessary intrusion into privacy

- internet is too slow

- There is no beer!!! And no treatment for alcohol withdrawal symptoms. 

- only Thai food

- gf is not allowed to visit them during quarantine

- no English language TV

- staff speaks Thai

- breakfast ist served at 7 am

- 14 days is too long if fifo and only 4 weeks off

and lots of other horrible things.  The horrors they complain about every day in Thailand,  magnified by quarantine. 

Very few would accept 14 days quarantine as a reasonable precaution. Most would try to cheat.

 

 

 

 

You can speak for yourself, I would happily accept that quarantine to be finally then able to reunite with my family. Too many people on this forum is making too many assumptions and riding on the high horse.

Anyway, if you can travel alone and stay alone in another country volunarely, dont make a problem when you are forced to be seperated a little bit longer. innvenient? sure. heartbreak? gimme a break. you can videochat and transfer money. u r adult, not a little lost baby crying for yr mummy. 

Easy to judge when you're not in the situation. And you forget that might have children involved.

I noticed empathy is a word that is at total loss in this forum.

Look at your last sentence and you will understand you are a sad lad... Don't you think that kids need love from their dads/moms too? Do you have a heart?
Plus... Each Thai who enters Thailand must be tested BEFORE leave the country they are in.
Test + Quarantine is not enough for you to be deemed safe? 
This is my last post on the matter as it is just a waste of time...

If measured by words, Thailand would be the first country in the world in so many apsects.
Then there's the truth... Good luck to the poor folks that were surviving thanks to the tourism.

It was Police and Army job to cordon the area, still they blame it on the press... Unbelievable.
