And if you think that the output of a 24V transformer after the rectification is 24V then think again - or google it.
Correct but....the output shown is only half wave rectification so the output value shown is incorrect.
It's actually closer to 1/2 that shown.

Also be aware your 24VAC when rectified and smoothed will give you approx. 1.4 times the AC figure ........ so expect 33.6v DC on the output.
This may or may not be a problem as the details of the valve are not shown here.
Might pay to give some thought to a "pulsed" type valve which opens and closes with a voltage pulse (and usually lower voltage around 12v) rather than needing continual power to remain open.
Might also pay to look at plug pack type supply (smps) as they already have everything needed and are all enclosed for your safety.(and probably much cheaper alternative) 12v are more common type.
Each of the valve types have their advantages/ disadvantages.

air source heat pump water heater
Those things are rubbish, for several reasons.
They made them compulsory install here for a couple of years about 10 years ago, and were removed within 2 to 3 years at considerable cost I might add.
Been removed all over, replaced with the age old storage units.
Claims they make were at best, wildly over rated.

Single width RCBO's have been around for donkey's ages......... I'd say at least 15 years.

Recently had the roof of our house insulated with SCG, 6 inch thick fiberglass.
Just be warned that any insulation with aluminium or foil covering installed on ceiling is considered extremely dangerous.
It was used on the ceiling in Aus in the "crazy polly period" where everybody jack and his mates were issued with "insulation installation licences" in an attempt to carry out the insulation era while the pollies were still in office.
Turns out ( surprise .........surprise) that it is conductive and a couple of people including one apprentice were electrocuted working in the ceiling space after the install.
Now some will say....what about safety switches............ well, they don't save you if incoming mains are exposed or become faulty.....and as it turns out, diluties know no better.
End result was, any used had to be removed and now it is a mandatory requirement that all power be cut at the main switch before entering a ceiling by any tradesperson.
Sadly though, the D*** heads who make these rules failed to recognise that incoming mains cannot be isolated, at least by "any tradesperson".
Then there are the situations such as hospitals but that's another story.

Makes one wonder why.....surely they have their own supply back home.

Is the isolation a fire risk? Does it burn?
Insulation associated with the fitting internal components, any wiring attached, all contribute to the need to keep ceiling insulation at a distance whether flammable or not.
Also consider the de-rating factor applied to any and all ceiling cabling while using on the ceiling insulation.
In my opinion, any ceiling insulation should be up top, just under the roof battons, to keep as much heat out as possible.
Anywhere else is simply "an oven" keeping any hot air inside.

I do understand the benefits of using RCBOs and have looked into it. As far as I have found a RCBO set up will cost me about 4x as much though.
Home state pricing or local suppliers here in Thailand?
It's still a mistake going 4 circuits to an elcb rather than single RCBO's regardless, for the reason I mentioned.
Wait until the day comes when you have to find a defect, and it will.
As I also mentioned, space is also a concern.
Might pay to mention that any work performed here by falang is under scrutiny so I'd make sure to have appropriate work permit.
Also be prepared to fork out if you decide to "bring stuff in" and get noticed, which could possibly be even after the fact.
In short, don't be a smart arse, they(authorities) don't like it one bit.

Hi all thanks for the responses and advice,
@sometimewoodworker I’m not an electrician but despite my level of knowledge not being that high as you put it, the third pin or earth is blank it’s just a plastic prong to fit into a 3pin Uk socket
Don't let that bother you, that bloke is just a dilutie as well with a (sometimes) good internet connection.

switch the 3 pin Uk plug for a two pin Thai plug
Do you have a photo of the nameplate on the charger?
It will show whether a 2 or 3 pin plug will suffice.
Look for a "double insulated" symbol which I suspect it will be.
Any other comments are irrelevant until one knows this info.

It's a mistake to run (as in your case) 4 circuits from each of the rcd's.
Any one of which will trip the rcd and render 4 circuits inoperable.
Single combo's are available here, and I'd argue very little, if any, difference in cost with the added obvious advantage when tripped but also in board space.

About time too..........tourists take too many liberties with others traditions etc.
Most of the time from pure ignorance and don't give a toss attitude.

About time the authorities start doing checks on these commercial vehicles for "faulty brakes".
It's a wonder some local hasn't picked up on it and opened a business to fix these machines.
They would do a roaring trade given the number of reported incidents with this fault.

If you can't be bothered to click a link to read an article (which has a description of the underground APM and also pictures), then please don't bother to comment, just move along - you are ridiculous, sorry.
I clicked the link and apart from the photo of some kind of transport ( just guessing) I too am none the wiser.
There was reference to some underground transport though ....
You get to and from the new terminal from the main building via a driverless underground shuttle which runs to and from the main terminal almost continuously.

Any thoughts on this? Thank you!
Draw a diagram of your intended connections /breakers/main switch/ links etc.
Following ones description can be misleading.
(1 example) ....Main neutral should not be switched and yes, there should be a neutral link bar as well as an earth link bar.
The MEN link is then, just that, a link between the two.

According to the "full story" on the link, the driver poked the bus in there on purpose after the brakes failed and to avoid any further mishap further down the road.
Looks like it's on top of a hill so could be correct in this instance.
Possible near the blue Pattaya Tai Pier sign on the way in.

Looks like someone has tapped in on the pole supply with twist and tape, the latter not being sufficient to stop the joint shorting out on the "half re-fitted" cover.
Would be about "lean on the post" height.

Often this would require completely new cabling all over the house.
I don't see why that would be.
An RCBO can be fitted to any existing circuit.

He has a surprise in store if he thinks he can instruct Thai's on how to cook or run a restaurant.
Might work in the UK or US but here, don't think it will last if it ever gets off the ground.
1st obstacle would be his methods are too expensive here.
Next would have to be all the "F" this and "F" that would go down like a lead balloon.

Never ceases to amaze me how many think that boiling water is the be-all-end-all to sparkling clean water.
There are many contaminates which will remain after boiling.
I don't drink the tap water there and even use bottle water to clean my teeth.
There is a "water treatment" cabinet on the footpath outside our house but I don't use that either.
Just another case of cheap charlie popping their head up again.

Anyone on retirement visa ever have immigration visit their home afte such a long period of time?
Just learn to shut your gob and accept the fact you are a visitor in their country and it pays (heaps) to simply abide by their directions.
Whether you live there for years on end or you now make gazilions of dollars makes no difference to the outcome.
Well, unless you insist on telling them you make gazillions, in which case your "fee" might go up accordingly.
