Is it possible to get a job as a junior programmer in Thailand?

I've gone to the hospital for non major things and found treatment very affordable.

However, I guess if something tragic were to happen that wouldn't be the case.

I've read online about cases where some Thai hospitals let the patient die because they weren't sure if they could pay or not.

Is this true? It sounds scary.

I notice the postings on Ajarn aren't updated as frequently right now. Is it the slow season for hiring teachers right now?

I made an appointment to get extra pages in my US Passport.

For people who have done this before, how does it work? Is the process completed on the same day? I see that they want me to fill out a form and that there's an American address on there. However, since I'm actually going to the Embassy to do this in a foreign country can the procedure be completed there? I'm hoping to get the passport pages on the same day and then make a trip to Laos and apply for a double entry.

Has anyone seen this movie?

It stars Owen Wilson and Pierce Brosnan. They are in a fictional south east Asian country that undergoes a revolution.

The people in the movie often speak Thai and I can understand their asking about that "falang" Owen Wilson that they want to shoot in the street.

The movie is kind of like scare propaganda against SE Asia and most likely Thailand in particular.

I really enjoyed the movie and I like ones like this. However, I wouldn't be surprised if Thai people are upset because the portrayal of the people is totally inaccurate.

I don't think the establishment really cares if Thai children learn English. Better to have them ignorant of foreign concepts so they just bow their heads and clean toilets all day.
