From what I've seen it's mostly not the budget travellers who leave the trash. In my area 10-15 years ago you never used to see trash in the streets and there were only budget type accommodations along with residential houses. Fast forward to 2025 and you have pretty much no true budget accommodation left but you have about 20 mid range to high end hotels just in my neighbourhood. The amount of rubbish is ridiculous. I find it interesting when people say "they want big spenders here". Who exactly are they? From what I can see almost none of the hotels are run by local people. Personally I don't feel good about lining the pockets of out of town (mostly BKK) or overseas investors. I would prefer that my money benefits the local community.

Crime Missing Man Turns Killer: Shocking Murder in Mae Hong Son

They must have all known each other because otherwise he (Yutthana) would not have known he had killed the woman's husband. If you are from another area you are not aware who is husband and wife unless you have been stalking or making previous in depth enquiries. -
Why so many conspiracy theorists and what to do about them

Years ago a friend of mine was helping at a party attended by Buzz Aldrin and asked him in person "Buzz, what was it like on the moon?" His answer, "I can't believe I was there." Make of it what you will!! She said there were rumours at the time (in the late 70's) that it was staged, so the answer wasn't exactly helpful. -

So in other words, prominent positions are often held by Nazi syympathisers. I think that is what I said. I am no fan of Elon Musk and for me the jury is still out when it comes to Kennedy. -
Why so many conspiracy theorists and what to do about them
cmsally replied to kwilco's topic in Off the beaten track
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” -

Post WW2 history seems to have been shaped more than we realise by ex-Nazis and their accomplices. Even a brief look at the history of the "Ratlines" can suggest this. WEF history shows that Klaus Schwab came from a family that seems to have collaborated with the Nazis on a large scale. On the one hand we defeated the Nazis but on the other hand we didn't, so it is hardly a "conspiracy theory" to suggest that the WEF might have nefarious motives. https://pearl-hifi.com/11_Spirited_Growth/11_World_Politics/09_Fascism/Schwab_Family_Values.pdf -

As far as we know WEF is funded by large global corporations. So as it stands, this is essentially meddling by the global private sector in government affairs worldwide. Elected government officials should be accountable to their electorate and not to a number of private global enterprises. The WEF is essentially forwarding the concept of corporate communism, where business elites worldwide have power over the masses without being confined by any national borders. -

I wonder why Ken Lin https://fundselectorasia.com/thailand-is-the-jewel-for-invescos-lin/ and Amornthep Sachamuneewongse https://satiapp.co/422-2/ have also been chosen by WEF alongside the PM. What have they done ? -

According to that criteria she hasn't been "honoured" or "recognised". She has been picked out because she is underperforming and is not up to the job. Having a current Prime Minister being coached in this way, is overt foreign interference. -

Maybe Ursula and Klaus got customised elephant pants. (Even those were not her idea, they've been around since the 1990's) Don't forget Kier Starmer adopted "change" as his slogan. Change is not always a good thing. When the WEF is involved it is definitely not a good thing. -
Thailand's tourism has more or less been taken over by corporations and investors. Many of these groups bought /leased property at high prices and are determined to make a profit. Marketing strategies and media promote conspicuous wealth because it brings them returns; they want you to spend more. In the past Thai tourism was mostly based on family/local providers and didn't need such a large return on investment , now (in the major destinations) it is driven by KPI etc. I have been involved in Thai tourism for many years and the quality of tourists has dropped dramatically. The Thai govt. is aiming for mass tourism even if they are not outwardly admitting it. A lot of people are falling into the trap of believing just because people spend more they are of a higher quality.

Personally I would not trust the callback, as the only thing you have is a screenshot and no verification of who asked for the call back. Whereas if you do the online form you get an email notification with your name, proof of date and submission reference number.

For anyone who wants to apply before the deadline, go to the gov.uk website and search for CF83 form. Click on Apply to pay voluntary National Insurance contributions when abroad (CF83) Find the green button (seen below) almost at the bottom of the page - (start now) Apply to pay Get all of your information together before you start. Start now It will load the online process - you will need a govt. gateway ID and password to enter (set one up if you don't have one) PS the form is a bit confusing at first because it is in sections and will be marked (can't start, not completed) You have to select one section at a time. Once you get going it becomes obvious. Once you have completed the 7 sections you will be able to submit it. You will then get a confirmation with a green box and a reference number. If you get this number before the deadline you can still pay for all the missing years. Hope this is fairly clear.

We have the exact same thing in our garden. Tastes like lemon, skin a bit like kaffir lime and size of small grapefruit. It must be some kind of hybrid.

Primary School Cancels Easter Celebration to Promote Inclusivity
cmsally replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Letter in full - Stephanie Mander headteacher at Norwood Primary School: "Dear Parents and Carers, "As we approach the spring season, I would like to inform you about an important update regarding our school's traditional Easter celebrations. "After careful consideration and discussions with our school community, we have decided not to hold the Easter Bonnet Parade or the Easter Service this year. This decision has been made in the spirit of inclusivity and respect for the diverse religious beliefs, represented within our school community. "Our school is committed to fostering an environment where every child feels valued and respected, regardless of their religious background. By not holding specific religious celebrations, we aim to create a more inclusive atmosphere that honours and respects the beliefs of all our children and their families. "We understand that this change may be disappointing for some, especially those who have cherished these traditions over the years. However, we believe that this decision aligns with our values of inclusivity and respect for diversity. We are exploring alternative ways to celebrate the season in future years, that will be inclusive of all children and reflect the rich cultural diversity of our community. "One of the ways we will be celebrating inclusivity is by taking part in Refugee Week which occurs in June, as well as beginning our journey to become an accredited School of Sanctuary. Watch this space! In the meantime, we look forward to seeing many of you at the Music Festival in a couple of weeks. "We appreciate your understanding and support as we make this transition. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the school office. "Thank you for your continued support." It seems that the objective is to become a "School of Sanctuary" which involves subsidising refugees/migrants/ undocumented children. Basically filling the school system with people from overseas. What could possibly go wrong!
