yingluck is elected by the people, not suthep, thus he is in no position to give the ultimatum to yingluck and she need not bother about him actually.
-
red shirt people died. suthep gets the blame. simple.

Nobody on here does Jackson...

Yes I know. I'm referring to the IOs actually.

The main culprit for these protests is Yingluck's poor decision to push for amnesty bill to include Thaksin as well, which is obviously a major controversy. However, it's also Suthep's poor decision to escalate this issue further since all these protests hurt Thailand's economy and across all levels of society. It is actually better for everyone if they had chose to wait till the next election.

Then the same scrutiny should also apply to single european females since singapore alsi haa european prostitutes.Anyone can be a prostitute, not just thai women. I have to disagree with the singapore IO.
True, but the chances of a single Thai woman going to Singapore for prostitution are considerably higher than just 'anyone' Singapore immigration are right to be suspicious.
I'd suggest that at any one moment there are hundreds of illegal prostitutes in SG from Thailand versus a handful of Europeans. Single young bangable European ladies of prostitutable age in SG are about as common as North America female sex workers in SG. If they are there at all, it is probably for a non working holiday or travelling with a client.
OTOH it is well known that illegal SG prostitutes are generally from the following countries: Siam, Indonesia, China, Vietnam & PI. A French or German prostitute would have little reason to come to SG for work.
SG Immigration is not looking for any female from LOS, such as 60 year old grandmas.
True. But my positive impression of thai women remains unchanged. I do not condemn all thai women or thailand in general.

I accept everyone's comments but my stand remains unchanged.

With 5 dec nearing, pressure is actually on suthep to stop protests, not yingluck.
that is true
coup leader Suthep has time against him and, in the long run, Thailand will never forgive him
Thailand also will not forgive democrat party as well.

1. Yingluck has no reason to call for election since she won the no-confidence vote easily. Even if she calls for election, she will still win and might further aggravate protesters.
2. Yingluck now on the defensive to portray herself as victim, thereby creating the general impression that whatever inconveniences now is due to suthep.

The latest in the Time:Its just that when it comes to Thai democracy, the ironically named Democrat Party is among the worst practitioners. Tens of thousands of Yellow Shirts are marching across the country, but demanding the establishment of royalist councils is hardly a peoples revolution. If anyone has been exercising people power, its the 15 million voters who elected Yingluck and her Pheu Thai party in July 2011. Thaksin-backed political parties have won the previous five elections with significant majorities, and Thaksins own populist policies helped bring millions of rural poor out of poverty. He remains the kingdoms most popular Prime Minister since the abolition of absolute monarchy in 1932.

When u help poor people, rich people hate u and vice versa. In my opinion, thailand fares better under puea thai.

Yingluck don't want people to get killed or injured during her reign, unlike 2010 under Abhisit.

If Abhisit leads the protests, isn't he against the law thus government can arrest him?

As long as the transport system is still ok, tourists can still travel there.
-
When red shirts were opposition, they also protested. Now that they are government, they are in a dilemma coz they already set a precedence.
-
Thai govt must prove to everyone especially investors that thailand is worth investing. For that, the govt should end the protests asap and in a peaceful manner. Not right for other countries to interfere as well.
-
Weird request since it is not my protesters.
-
I hope that no one gets hurt in this protest. Let it be a peaceful one. Personally I favour still favor yingluck government although I also disagree on the amnesty bill because it is inappropriate.
Just seen a flustered Yingluck leave the arena for a bite to eat (mid flow) after one of the Pheu Thai MP's approached her to tell her she was hungry.
She was taking a battering and when she couldn't answer the Democrat's questions she got agitated and fluffed her lines going bright red in the process!!
Its good to see that Thailand has got such a worthy and strong premier leading it.
Can I ask why you still favour this pathetic and abject government over a bright and competent party and leader, as with the democrats?
Haha. Just know my stand. That's all.

It's a hard truth that farangs tend to get overcharged by thai people.
-
I bought a souvenir in pattaya for 300 baht. My brothee told me it could have been cheaper if I had bought it elsewhere but to me that's ok since I'm a one time customer.
-
Different cities, different prices. Those ones who say farengs get overcharged are the one who ever think they can live in a country without speaking the local language.
If you intend to stay in Thailand for a long time, you have to learn to speak thai, at least the basics. If you don't want, just go back at home.
Agree with you on this. Currently I'm learning thai so that next time I can buy things cheaper there. Just a simple "tao rai kup" can get u some discounts.
"tao rai kup" and bar fines as well as drinks are half price in any Thai bar.
p.s. if you are "Fareng" depending on discounts when buying bananas or a noodle soup "just go back at home"
nope I'm not a farang but i see Thai people treat me very well too.
