Very sad to know of this accident. I was at pattaya last month but I didn't travel by boat. Personally I like thailand as a country but I do agree that more has to be done to improve safety for both locals and tourists.

Not easy to be Thai PM because she not only has to address internal conflicts both at political and social levels but also external pressure from other countries who have economics interests in Thailand. To outsiders, the nature of the Bill is unimportant. What is most important is to restore law and order. To Thai people, it's the opposite.

This bill not only writes off Thaksin but also writes off Abhisit, but Abhisit rejects this bill as well due to the big picture. Problem is, families of 2010 victims are unhappy.

less than a year, she changed her number because I made her angry previously. Ah well. A short-lived romance I guess. But overall I still like Thai girls, at least they're better than the girls of my own country.

I went to the international buffet restaurant at level 3 i think, name's Foodloft or something. Display set so small but actual serving so big ! I ate Thai food by the way. My friend ordered Chinese food but serving was very small. I guess Thai people are only good at cooking its own dishes.

I recently like a Thai girl, she's from pattaya. But unlikely she will accept me due to various reasons.

While I respect thailand as a country, nevertheless I hope the police can be more serious in fighting crimes and ensure pattaya continues to attract tourism. The place is nice, just that bad people are there.

I'll be flying out to Singapore in mid December with my Thai girlfriend for a couple of days. Maybe I should have her get a letter from the hotel where she works as proof that she holds down a regular job. Any thoughts? It would be a real kick in the pants if she is refused entry.
