As much as I agree that the penalty is too lenient, this is their law.

It's a grey area in determining exactly which beggar is worth your donation. However my principle is that I will only donate to thai beggars, whether genuine or not.

i've only been to the 7-11 at beach rd, pattaya and the one near nana BTS, bangkok, equally good service. i even gave way to other thai people and let them queue in front of me 1st, one of the girl winked at me.

So many of you cannot accept whats going on here in Thailand. If you feel it's so bad, why not move back to you home country or to Zimbabwe as someone proposed. I'm a farrang work and live in this Kingdom and I do accept if strong measures are taken to root out corruption and any other issues.

We are guests in this country and not citizens. If some cannot accept that fact, they always have the freedom to leave Thailand and settle down in another "paradise".

before i went to pattaya last year, i had already heard of the jet ski scams through youtube. hope that more tourists can be aware of this situation and avoid them at all costs.
