  1. Actually i want to build a campervan. LPG or NVG is interesting because the engine can be run all night (to power the air conditioning) without producing carbon monoxide. Its more quiet than diesel. I need to use it to run air conditioning all night, so basically it will be run idling for very long periods of time. It wont be carring very heavy loads, perhaps 250kg load. It wont be used everyday.
  2. im buying a used truck, about 10 years old. The "2022" refer to running cost now with current fuel prices thanks
  3. Hi Can anyone tell me the approximate running cost for a pickup per KM for these fuels. I am buying a pickup and considering options. Thank you

  8. if its a used truck out of service warrantee, what is the issue? Chevrolet have been selling trucks here for many years, surely its not hard to find a mechanic. - sorry im not saying you are wrong just want to know why the dealer service is so important on a 4 year old truck'
  9. I am interested to buy chevvy pickup Maybe this. Are they any good? https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/756052425624468/ Am I right in thinking that Chevrolet have shut down in Thailand now? Is that any reason not to buy a used model? I think many of the parts are shared with ford or isuzu? Thanks
  10. Camper will have generator and AC. As well as solar to run the AC during the day. Cassette toilets can be emptied at any petrol station just flush the cassette contents in the toilet. Im talking about campercan here not big RV. Im looking to modify one of these, with more solar panels for daytime AC and attached diesel generator (or propane generator). Apparently you need 4 litres of diesel for overnight AC, and a 800W solar system with inverter can power the AC during the day. https://www.avengerbox.com I know you can stay in cheap resorts for 500b a night but the point of camping is to get totally away from civilization and absorbed in nature.
  11. Hi Are there any nice scenic places to park up a camper and stay overnight. Near some river or places in nature that are not "camp grounds". Where is good for getting away from everyone (no kids, families just be alone in nature with campervan) thank you
  12. Hi I am interested to buy a second hand campervan I was looking at carryboy https://carryboycaravan.com/motor-home/ Or something like a converted transit van. I need second hand though as its way too expensive. It needs airconditioning fridge, toilet/shower. Its just for myself to escape to nature alone sometimes Please let me know if you have any advice. Perhaps the way to go is to first buy a vehcle second hand then find someone to convert it. I have no idea. Thanks
  13. im too fat to walk around that place in the heat no air conditioning lol
  14. Hi where is the best place to buy XXXL sized clothes in Bangkok? Just normal stuff, tshirts, shorts, jeans. Not expensive brand name stuff. There used to be good outlets in basement of MBK and places like that, but that was some years ago now since i have been in Bangkok. Thank you
  15. Hi I need to buy tshorts, shirts, shorts, jeans and also a jacket. I usually take 3xl. There used to be a lot of stuff for sale before covid. Where can i get big size mens clothes in Phuket?
  16. It might discourage tourists from getting "proper" travel insurance. Then they get here, have an accident and discover they are only insured in public hospitals and not for all illnesses. I was hoping that one day Thai Social security may offer an inexpensive insurance plan that could be used at thai public hospitals.
  17. ABSOLUTELY - Have you ever been randomly tested? The only way they could know how they could estimate number of cases is if they randomly stopped people in random locations in the country,, forced people to take a test, then take the percentage of people X the population. If "cases" mean, people who submitted voluntarily to a test (ie they were ill) then the actual number has always been far far higher.
  18. Green Crack flower is selling on Facebook for 7500/kg. Why is this flower (way) cheaper than other flower on sale? Is it outdoor or something? Or is it fast growing possibly?
  19. In around a month half of Issan will be harvesting their weed. Imported compressed (brick) weed will totally disappear and be replaced with locally grown weed of a slightly higher quality. This will cost few thousand baht a kilo and will be low-medium quality outdoor bud. This is your beer chang of weed. The outdoor weed will gradually increase in quality when the local farmers understand more high tech outdoor methods Then there is the top shelf indoor stuff that will sell for Canadian prices or maybe a little less given that its totally legal here and labor is much cheaper. I suspect most stoners will be smoking low-medium grade outdoor weed which costs next to nothing and buy champagne for special occasions. Its hard to see how the locals are going to want to spend 600/g on bud. Thai people are quite ingenious in many ways, and they are a nation of farmers and many of the modern strains are based off Thai strains. Its hard to see how this is going to be a massive money-maker for all these cannabis companies popping up now. Personally I will pay more for stuff that is organic, or at least not covered in pesticide like the imported brick weed. Im not going to be spending for high grade stuff, since i use a vaporizer and honestly the really sticky stuff doesnt vape that well and tastes more pungent than the ordinary stuff when vaped
  20. I would suggest Dynavap Vong, with a Bong (14mm) or a Volcano Neither of these devices could be classified as electronic cigarattes i believe. The dynavap isnt electronic. And the Volcano is a massive beast, that runs off mains power not battery and bares no resemblance to a cigarette. Neither of these devices are capable of vaping ejuice. https://www.greenlungsth.com/
