  1. For 1) and 2) your office would have done this loads of times and know what they need to prepare. You'll need a purchase agreement, look online for a draft copy or maybe someone can provide, include a deposit if you prefer. Land office can help with process there, see them in advance to agree. I'd rather pay the land office extra than an agent
  2. I just had a look, it's about half the size as a couple years ago when it was good
  3. Wrong, that's a different coffee place
  4. Big deflection ongoing, focus on why a violent moody drug addict ex policeman still had a gun
  5. Ah yes, not the same as before, it's in the gates towards the temple. Better coffee shop now above the Pattaya City sign
  6. which viewpoint?
  7. That was once the rain had stopped and started to drain, but the thing is it can look shallow on the motorbike then you come to a deep part. Must have been a foot deep in most of the usual places, 2nd road, 3rd road, parts of Buakhao and side roads, beach road
  8. It is well overdue to bring in the foreigners to sort out the flooding problems
  9. That was after the rain when it started to drop, if you look at the videos you'll see how deep it was and on a motorbike you're risking it
  10. Worst flooding ive witnessed, i was trapped on Buakhao, 2nd road, 3rd road, Pattaya Tai, beach road all under water
  11. Closed, but there is a nice one behind the Pattaya City sign, good views
  12. Yes bad today, i was trapped on Buakhao, surrounded by flooded roads, decided to wait for the water to drop a bit
  13. Sad that you and @Sparktrader can't admit when you're wrong, you just double down, truly sad, I'll leave it there
  14. There's always the agent route to fall back on for a year, live and learn
  15. Come on admit you're wrong, be a man, and @Sparktrader I checked for Australia, also required. Of course if unprepared and come to Thailand without an IDP you're stuffed, better planning required, misinformation from you and Sparktrader doesn't help
  16. Not per my post further up from UK govt website
  17. If you topped up same day you may be ok, maybe UJ can confirm, end of day statement balance still correct
  18. £5 in UK big deal. Here you go UK govt website confirming IDP required for Thailand. https://www.gov.uk/driving-abroad/international-driving-permit Maybe check your countries govt website @richard_smith237
  19. There are rules about IDPs i think one of them is it must be in English
  20. Finally someone with real experience
  21. I have a thai licence, but over the years I've seen loads of posts about this subject on facebook and on forums, why do you think so many people get thai licences? Pattaya will be different to Nikon nowhere places where no one cares
  22. If you know the answer why bother asking the question, weird
  23. when was this? in the last couple days?
  24. In the real world of what actually happens, in Pattaya, police would laugh in your face if you show them a foreign licence, more money for them
  25. Yeah i think he's making it up, i doubt he's even been to Thailand by his questions he's been asking in the past
