  1. I changed the blade after 6 months, and it's been fine since, so probably the one with the blender is inferior, certainly it's powerful enough, i only use half power. These are widely sold with different brand names so who knows if they are the same or just look the same
  2. Explains the higher cost, higher labour costs vs Shark which i think my helmet came from Vietnam
  3. Worth a look on Lazada, circ 100 baht
  4. Like this, easy to get replacement blades. The one i bought came with two container, i use the small one, no need for big size with a smoothie for one https://s.lazada.co.th/s.tUubJ
  5. I bought one of these, 2+ years ago, still going strong, spare parts easily available, this model often has different brand names, maybe the same factory https://s.lazada.co.th/s.tfciM
  6. My Shoei and Shark fitted the same
  7. Yes I've used 1 for both last 3 times
  8. Probably but the weight is not something i notice, the Shark full face has good noise protection, depends how much you want to pay and perceived benefit
  9. Sex workers are nearly always shaved, newbies not
  10. Ventilation on Shark are good, they've been making helmets for 30+ years. When i interchanged between a Shark and Shoei helmet for an hour+ commute i felt no difference in fact I'd say Shoei is over rated
  11. I have the Shark Ridill full face, around 5k baht, good helmet, I don't notice any difference between Shoei and Shark, only price
  12. I like Shark helmets, got a couple here from Shopee, good quality for the price, one open face one full face, first bought Shark 1999. Full face helmets may not fit under the seat, depends on bike, i put mine in top box, open face under seat
  13. Pattaya, one for each is ok and a copy, they are pragmatic. Immigration will say you need two so don't ask, just say for motorbike or car licence
  14. Colds etc always get worse in the evening, maybe immune system is lower then. I've just started Amoxicillin as a preemptive strike for a chest infection following a cold, see if it stops it starting
  15. Probably depends where you live, in Pattaya i had quotes of 3k to 4k, including 500 baht for removal
  16. There are good facebook isaan groups where all they talk about is building houses, worth having a look
  17. Reviews on Google maps aren't great
  18. Air fryers are very good for cheese and onion on toast, a little known fact
  19. Makes you wonder if the safety checks in Bangkok were correct
  20. How long for? what temperature. I tried a couple of times and it just overcooked them, to be fair i didn't experiment further
  21. Yes i think it's radish plus the essential blood for flavour
  22. I prefer that in white bread and tomato sauce, not all pork vendors are the same
  23. i eat street food every day, this is from Soi Post Office 13/2 best pork noodle soup in Pattaya
  24. I've travelled all over Thailand, I'm not stuck in Isaan like you
