Most Thai drivers think they are at the controls of an F15 Fighter, so 120 KPH is nowhere near fast enough for them.

And all of these Volunteers will be fully trained in the use of a Baseball Bat.
Lesson 1. Learn to recognise a 2 year old child on a Motorcycle with its Parents, before engaging in needless violence.

Is there nothing he is not in charge of now ?

IT will never raise Driving standards in Thailand.
What possibly may stand some chance is to have every potential Driver be given an IQ test, to see if they even have the brain Power required to drive a Vehicle.

All of the Thai Government should hang their heads in shame at this verdict.
The World now knows that it is OK to commit Murder in Thailand, and as long as you have some Money, you can walk away almost scot free from your Henus Crime.
Absolutely disgraceful.

These kind of Bikes and the Riders of them are severely restricted in the UK.
FOR A REASON ! They are 2 wheel Missiles, that with little or no Training will end in a disaster for the Rider.
Only a complete Retard would ride one of these things on the most dangerous roads in the World.

WOW !
Superman is here
The guy is Prime Minister, Defence Minister, and is supervising the Police Force.

It is common all over Pattaya City, that if you rent or buy a Shophouse, and have a business in place there, you have the right to place Chairs, Tables and any other stuff in the Soi to prevent people Parking.
WRONG ! The Shophouse tenants only own the Shophouse, not the Street outside of it, and certainly not the sidewalk, where Restaurants place there Diners for food. Motorbike shops fix the things, and an old lady sells Somtam.
When their own business is closed, they even have the cheek to charge rent to others for a night time food selling stand Etc.

Much of the Military Equipment is 20 Years old, but the Hospitals for the people are over 60 years old.
Typical Military Government.

Sure a small wage rise of 10 baht might not make a difference but a 100 baht increase will raise all prices no way around that...
As another poster has already said " most business,s will not raise prices because of a Wage hike, only as a last resort "
That theory may work in the Developed World, but this is Thailand, and the smallest sniff that workers will get extra Wages will hike prices by 10 % overnight.
Everything from the takeaway food in the Local markets to Electricity will rise in anticipation of being able to get more money from the already not well off.

Please treat this as a serious warning folks,,, I witnessed a Scottish guy get a scratch that he ignored until the next morning ,,,,, too late
3 operations & 2 kilos of his flesh had to be removed from his leg & very lucky to avoid amputation.
If you get even a small scratch,,, wash well & lather on the Betadine
This disease can also be contracted from another Skin Eating Disease called " Cellulitus " which if not brought under control with a very serious period of Antibiotics Etc, can lead to the flesh eating disease.
Another serious warning

And there is a very good chance that they are correct. While there have been instances of bank employee fraud, more often than not, it is someone much closer to home that has swagged the cash.

A friend's 15 year old son recently needed brain surgery for a motorbike accident. No helmet of course. He's alive, but his mental capacity will never be the same. Such a shame.
There must be enforcement of helmet laws by the police, whatever it takes.
Don't let children drive! I was cut off on my motorbike by a kid who couldn't have been older than 12 and in his school uniform. If a kid is driving the police should impound the bike and the parents have to go claim it and pay a hefty fine to have it released. Let that happen a couple of times and they won't let the kid drive.
An enforcement of helmet Laws would be a really good idea if the helmets that were being enforced were capable in any way of saving a life.
The vast majority of Helmets sold in Thailand are cheap Plastic Mouldings, that are not capable of withstanding any kind of impact at all.
I am all for enforcing a Law that saves lives, but to enforce a Law that says to a wearer of a Plastic helmet " you are now safe "is a nonsense.

U-Turns probably feature in over 70% of accidents in Thailand.
As a person that has been involved in Motor Sport Safety, slow moving traffic trying to merge into fast moving traffic is an absolute disaster waiting to happen.
Only in Thailands case, it already is a disaster.
