o&o defrag i think is betterConvert Trial Version to Full Version
All products are available as trial version, which can be unlocked to a full version by entering a license key. You do not need to download again, just unlock the trial.
Hiya Huski
yeah I have O&O Pro and its really good utility. Easy one button defrag and beats Windows defrag by miles. I also use Tuneup Utilities which is a good clean up utility.
I will take a look at Diskeeper maybe be better who knows.

Probably not the correct forum for this question but can anyone recommend a good/cheap (I know the two don't always go together) shipping/relocation company to transport back to the UK all the junk I've accomulated over the last 5 years in the LOS?
Cheers.
I would recommend this area. Goto Pratunam Market in Bangkok and most freight companys and travel agents are locared there.
Goodluck

Lopburiguy, what URL do you get in the address bar when you get the error? I've tried TFD.com directly, but nothing gives me the impression that it can do anything useful with text in Thai. However, when I try looking up a Thai word, I just get a row of question marks when it says what it cannot find.
I don't get the same prompts as you, but then I need to upgrade from Firefox 1.04 to 1.06.
Thank you Richard! It never occurred to me that the OP is trying to translate a THAI word using TFD!
So, lopburiguy, can you please confirm whether it is a THAI word you are trying to look up in TFD.com, or is it an ENGLISH word? The reason I'm asking is that you need a specific Thai to English web site to TRANSLATE: you will go no useful result from a dictionary site like TFD.com.
The best sites that I know are thai2english.com and thai-language.com.
PS. Try "Conquery" extension in Firefox.
Hiya RDN
I am trying to translate a Thai word. I thought I might need to add the link or something, it is just not to clear on the method of doing so!
I have installed conquery, so if you could advise me on how to change my settings to thai-language.com as the search engine, I would be obliged.
Thanks

I studied at Chaing Mai Text and Talk, had a job two weeks later from a contact. Jake was the Teachertrainer then, was a class bloke. Goodtimes, very hungover and still passed, so maybe some so called "Alkies" do get through! Tee hee...
p.s. You just have to turn up and if your not stupid, to put it bluntly, you will be fine. The grammar lectures are the head basher!!! Goodluck...

Go to Menu/View/Character Encoding and tell us what it's set to. Then change it to something else, like Western or Thai and see if it helps. The more information you give us, the more likely someone will figure out the problem.
Regarding the Conquery extension "search plugins" (not for the "Dictionary Search" extension), I can email you all of mine if you PM me your email address. They may help.
These are my screen settings, I not played around with it as yet I need more info on this area.
All this thumbnail told me (once I'd managed to gets its URL using 'view source') was that Thaivisa pages are encoded as Latin-1, which most of us know anyway. The strange text in the error message seems to be the result of Thai encoded in UTF-8 being misnterpreted as Latin-1. However, how did you get to the point where you got the error message? Which version of Firefox are you using?
Hiya Richard
I do not no what the problem is with the attachment, is there a better way rather than clicking "add this attachment"? Dunno?
For the error message: Highlight text>right click text>search dictionary for....>TFD.com pops up with error message.
I think some settings are wrong or maybe I am not understanding the process correctly. Do I need to change my settings in: view>encoding>more?
Thanks for your reply. I am not up on this so assume to give an "idiots guide", however I will not give up!....lol

Port Scans are common, however maybe install a different firewall if it puts your mind at ease. Look Here.

It's the first one in the list that I pinned at the top of the forum
The other excellent one is Thai-language.com.
And what may tempt people to try the FireFox browser is, all you have to do is highlight some Thai text, right-click on it and select one of those two web sites from the list, and you get an automatic translation. No copy/paste or bookmarks lookup. Easy-peasy !
Hiya RDN
I tried that and got a google search return all in Thai language do you need an extension?
Let me know sounds useful that does!
Thanks Lop

Thank you again all

Unfortunately, both the Home Office and FCO are very strict about what their staff are allowed to install on their computer systems. As a general rule, staff cannot install the items which have been suggested and it's better to stick with the old-fashioned copies.
Scouse.
Thanks Scouser
I will use the old paper docs!

Hiya All
I have lost a bookmark and cannot seem to find the English to Thai online dictionary I want...silly me!
It is a particular site I want. The dictionary after translating the giving text from English to Thai has a option to play the word or phrase in Thai language so you can hear it. The site displays a speaker icon that you press then it plays it in WMP.
Please help, it sounds silly but I like it!!!
Thanks All
www.thai-language.com is probably the site you are looking for.
Thats it.... TY

Hiya all,
There is nothing better in the world when you hear a Thai lady say "Khaa" softly. I think it is like music to the ears.
Either way "I like it".

It is apparent that a many on here seem to view Thailand little more than a glorified cheap knocking shop & in fact have little regard for the real Thailand or people.
By exploiting an economic advantage they seem to revel in exploiting young girls/boys misfortune, where as at home they cant hold down a relationship; let alone get a partner ( i use that word very loosely).
Let me Explain something about the attitude of many back here in the UK
There was a Thai girl who worked at my friends restaurant to earn some extra pocket money whilst she finished her masters degree. When she finished and told the customers that she was going home to Thailand the majority asked the same question.
"Do you have to go and work in a bar now?"
Every time Thailand is shown on the television there are always images of the Pat Pong or Pattaya bar scene.
I was even asked on my wedding day here if i found my wife in a bar!!!
It p**ses me off that so many have such little regard for Thailand and its customs and in fact could never stay there if it was not for some young thing playing with their manhood because of their economic superiority.
Get real people most of you are being taken for a ride: no money no honey!!!
how many of you have partners the same age as you or older?
END OF RANT
So which bar did she go work? JOKING!!! Who really gives a stuff what people think, Who cares if someone did marry a bar girl, some people are very happy and live a full happy life! Not my choice that is theirs to choose and goodluck to em...
As for your comment on people on here, many are expressing there view on Thai culture in a positive and constructive manner. With any country that has a sex tourism industry it is natural for people to prejudge, whether it be wrong or right, who gives a ######..
Jai yen khap...

I have some large files to transfer to several people, but my ISP limits email attachments to 5MB.
If they were photos, I could put them up at Shutterfly or some other share site, but even then, the recipients would have to right click on each one to download to their machine; a real pain for 10 files or more.
How can I share/xfer some large files with one or more people ?
Thanks
Hiya Paul
