No one in their right mind will even touch the 89 year lease. No need to worry about that. -
Thai health volunteers oppose retirement age limit in new bill
jcmj replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I agree. There should be no age limits in volunteering, paid or not. As long as they can do the job they should be able to work. It is also a very stupid law that foreigners on retirement visas can’t volunteer, especially when it’s a non paying job that needs help and support. -

They should have surveyed the Chinese getting off the tour bus to get a better idea on how much they spend here. -

New hope for men with delayed ejaculation
jcmj replied to CharlieH's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
I’ve never been able to come to an orgasm while having intercourse. I could go on and on and it would obviously make them happy, but it really messed with my head. Now I’m just like what’s the use. It’s like a chore with no reward. Many can laugh it off but those who suffer from this can easily be mentally scarred. -

Government Urged to Increase Import Duty on Cheaper Chinese Products
jcmj replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
That’s only 27 more closures than before and not surprising considering how the economy is doing. They say unemployment is down and more companies registered this year than last. They need to get their stories straight. Thailand used to be cheap but now they’re increasing prices so go figure. -

RTN Delivers 154 Tons of Water to Drought-Hit Koh Larn
jcmj replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
They are constantly shutting off the water a couple days a week on Pratumnak hill. I’m sure it happens all over the city but considering they keep saying we are good on the water supply, I just have to wonder how they are managing this. 🤔 -
Pattaya Tackles Homelessness with Targeted Beachfront Initiative
jcmj replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
They need to create a bigger homeless shelter for these poor people. Sure drugs and alcohol are a big issue but they obviously need help. You can’t just relocate them and expect a different outcome. Poor Pattaya’s reputation is hit again. What a joke. Start acting like a civilized city and you may just see some changes. -

Fire at Chatuchak Market destroys 118 shops, kills 1,000 animals
jcmj replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
The sale of Rare and exotic wildlife should never have been allowed. These poor creatures never had a chance. I hope that this will help stop the sale of these animals. What else will it take for the authorities to crack down on this trade that is clearly happening in front of their eyes. Just sad.
