jcmj replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
So now they want the Americans back. What a farce. We’ve been coming for years and you didn’t seem to want us or any One else except your rich Chinese, Indians and Saudis. You reap what you sow. -

where to report ATK test result?
jcmj replied to SCOTT FITZGERSLD's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I just sent a photo of the test results to the hotel and didn’t think about it anymore. Never installed the app and got a 30 day extension without any problems. -
ThaiPass Documents - Is This New?
jcmj replied to mrwebb8825's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
It’s actually quite easy. Just look at the list of documents and then start the process. I did do it on the phone and just screenshot or took photos of what I needed and deleted later. Give it a try first before wasting your money. -
Property market shows signs of recovery but pandemic effects still linger
jcmj replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
There are wealthy Thais still buying 2nd homes, but that is a drop in the bucket for most condos. Most other people that buy will be looking for Big discounts. Way to many condos on the market as it is. It’ll take many years before it even starts to get close to what it used to be, if ever. -
I just flew there in November and my flight back was for 2 months later. I was questioned in Narita airport because I was entering on a tourist visa 30 day. I just told them I’m allowed to extend it for 30 days and showed them I had done it before in my passport and then they said ok. No issues when arrived to Thailand going through immigration at all.

Citizens take action to feed elephants amid lack of official attention
jcmj replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
There are still a few sanctuaries that protect the well being of these magnificent animals. Those are the ones that should be supported. In any case it’s not the elephants fault and none of them should be deprived of food. -
So they are going to keep the Thai Pass so they can track you. You have to have health insurance, And you get charged 100%+ more to go to any attractions. Sounds like a great place for a holiday. ????????

And they blame the Falangs visiting for the boost in Omicron. They need to start looking at their land borders and returning immigrant workers. -
People advised to be aware of Long COVID’s effects on mental health
jcmj replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
It hasn’t even been long enough to see what happens and how people are affected. Now more may be distraught and depressed because of all the fears, lies and lockdowns forcing many to lose their income. Wake up Thailand. -
Waste of space. We’ll never know what is truly going on.

Provincial governors in Thailand told to prepare plans for COVID-19 surge
jcmj replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
The Omicron affects most people like the flu and is gone within days. Sure some unhealthy individuals will have it bad, but no worse than them getting any virus when their bodies are compromised. The powers at hand have no clue what they’re doing. Just look around the world and take some clues. I guess with the elections and holidays coming up it is in their best interest to make it seem worse than it is so they can continue to control the people for their own benefits. -
I had the same thing happen to me with the Test and Go. The test in America said Covid Negative but it didn’t state RT-PCR I t was every other name in the book. They tried to tell me I had to go back on the next flight but I said No and after a few discussions they offered me to do a test there for 3,000 baht and wait an hour for results. So I did that and was off to the hotel where they tested me again. Anyway I guess it’s who you’re dealing with and how you handle it.

Wounded tiger found on camera Kanchanaburi jungle, expert advice sought
jcmj replied to snoop1130's topic in Central Thailand
Let nature take it’s course. If it has been that way for awhile, it definitely doesn’t seem to be a problem. Like most other creatures they just learn to compensate. Maybe they should capture it to see if it is an old wound, defect or if it is fairly new and infected before they just remove it from its natural habitat. -
