  1. We have 2 Mitsubishi a/c units. One 9k btu inverter and one 18k non inverter.

Our neighbor has a rice milling machine that he uses during the day. When the machine is on, it draws down the voltage at our house from 220 volts to anywhere from 185 to 200 volts. If I turn on the a/c when we have 200 volts, then the multi meter shows 195-196 volts. So, I dont like to use the a/c unless we have at least 205 v.

Am I being overly cautious or not?

  2. Jingthing,

Thai post tracking shows nothing after it left suvanabumi, but USPS  (Parcelsapp), shows it is now in Customs in NY. (Aug 10)

I'm not the least bit worried, although I expect to get a second mailing in Oct. It's happened before.

  3. The wife and I got our forms on July 19th and sent them back the same day by Registered Airmail.

They departed Suvarnabhumi Mail Center on July 21st and that's the last we have heard from them.

When they get to the US, will Thai Post Tracking show their location, or do I have to use USPS tracking?

  4. Here, where we live in Issan, the mail is very unreliable, so I send my forms back  EMS.

The way I look at it is, I can track it, I know that they received it and hey, 50 bucks a year isn't going to bankrupt me.

This is the first year my wife will receive the form. I'm thinking about sending both forms in one large envelope. I don't see why that shouldn't work?

  5. I'll try to make a long story short.

Had something on my chest for 10-20 years. Dermatologist did biopsy. Positive for melanoma.

Dermatologist says it needs to be removed and sends me to a surgeon. The surgeon sends me for a CT scan. The CT scan doesn't show any cancer in the lymph nodes, but the surgeon says he will take a biopsy just to be sure. Surgeon said the surgery went well. Now I'm waiting for the results of the lymph node biopsy. If the biopsy is positive, surgeon says I'll need more surgery.

My question is, should I keep going along with the surgeons program, or should I consult with an oncologist?

    Any advice will be appreciated.

  6. One of our temple dogs has come down with ringworm, so we adopted her and brought her home so she wouldn't infect the other dogs. We took her to the vets and she was given  Ninazol  (ketoconazole), 200 mg  tablets.  Dose,  1/2  tab, every 12 hours. I also bought some Malaseb shampoo to use twice a week.

I've spent hours on the internet reading about fungus infections in dogs and I don't know what more I can do. For right now, just wait and see.

I'd like to know if anyone has treated a dog with ringworm and if so, what was the treatment and the results.
