I plan to do a one day visa run via KLIA (I have a multiple NON-O) I am wondering what to put in the address section for the airport. I will only be there for a few hours so I'm assuming just put the airport address? Anyone else had to do a similar trip recently? Any advice regarding the address section would be greatly appreciated.
TIA
For Accommodation, I chose OTHER
For the Address in Malaysia, I put N/A
For State and City, I chose Perlis and added 02000 for a Perlis Postcode
After submitting, you will receive an email that says - Auto-Reply: Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) - Registration Acknowledgement.

I had to do a 90-day border hop for my ME Non-O yesterday. and as usual, I went to the Wang Pracahn border in Satun.
To my surprise, you now have to register your details on this website - https://imigresen-online.imi.gov.my/mdac/main before you stamp in on the Malaysia side.
It's pretty straightforward until they ask for details about where you will stay in Malaysia, similar to the Laos visa.
I had no intentions of staying there so just put N/A on the form for hotel details. The form can't be completed unless you add a postal code so I added 02000 for Perlis.
After submitting you will receive an email that says - Auto-Reply: Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) - Registration Acknowledgement
You then show this to Malaysia Immigration with your passport and then they will process your stamp.
All the info you need is here - https://imigresen-online.imi.gov.my/mdac/main
Just wanted to give anyone going to Malaysia a heads-up about the new rules.

The great awakening has already started in Thailand. There's a clip of Pita speaking English saying it's the end of the New World Order. I guess this is why he isn't PM......yet.

A true legend of the board has been lost. He helped me and others so many times. Deeply saddened and he will be deeply missed. Rest in Peace, dear Joe

If anyone is going to this border try and skip Friday, it's very busy!
I was there today before 10am and lots of tourists. I was told by Imm staff this was normal for a Friday.
As a bonus the fee for coming back the same day was lowered from 1500 to 1300 baht, which is nice.

Wang Prachan Border Visit Today.
I got there in the morning at around 9:30 am, I was the only farang there at the time and it was pretty quiet.
I wanted to come back the same day so the imm guy directed me to a second window further down, the imm lady told me it would be 1500 baht so paid that and had to take my passport back to the first window to be stamped out.
I was given a bright orange sticker to show whoever that I'd paid. After stamping in and out in Malaysia I was stamped back into Thailand and the whole process took around 20 mins.
As I was leaving, it started to get a lot busier so I would suggest to anyone going, get there early in the morning to avoid long queues.
Hope this helps

I had a friend from Wales, UK there just over 48 hours ago. He got a ferry to Langkawi after giving up.
Did your friend go from Tamalang pier, and did he need to stay a night or did he return the same day?
If so I may try this, thank you

I called Immigration today about mine pending since the 2nd of November.
The lady told me they are aware of it, and it only happens with some applications, she said I can cancel it and try again or go to my local Imm office.
I went there today and I told them about it, and I received the email saying my application was approved a few minutes later.
The staff gave me an updated form and put it in my passport. All went okay.
If you don't get approval after 3-4 days I'd cancel it and try again. I only had 2 days left of the 7 day grace period to report so thought it best to go directly to the office.

Thank you, I just sent you a message so please ignore it ????????

I wonder how many people over the last 2 years tested positive for Covid, when infact it was just the flu, due the now unreliable RC/PCR test.

Amid a surge in Covid-19 cases, Gibraltar has canceled official Christmas events and “strongly” discouraged people from hosting private gatherings for four weeks. Gibraltar’s entire eligible population is vaccinated.
The government of Gibraltar recently announced that “official Christmas parties, official receptions and similar gatherings” have been canceled, and advised the public to avoid social events and parties for the next four weeks. Outdoor spaces are recommended over indoor ones, touching and hugging is discouraged, and mask wearing is advised.
“The drastic increase in the numbers of people testing positive for Covid-19 in recent days is a stark reminder that the virus is still very prevalent in our community and that it is the responsibility of us all to take every reasonable precaution to protect ourselves and our loved ones,” Health Minister Samantha Sacramento said.
Gibraltar, a tiny British Overseas Territory sharing a land border with Spain, has seen an average of 56 Covid-19 cases per day over the last seven days, up from fewer than 10 per day in September. The rise in cases, described by the government as “exponential,” comes despite Gibraltar having the highest vaccination rate in the world.
More than 118% of Gibraltar’s population are fully vaccinated against Covid-19, with this figure stretching beyond 100% due to doses given to Spaniards who cross the border to work or visit the territory every day. Masks are still required in shops and on public transport.
The initial vaccine campaign on the British outpost came to a conclusion in early spring 2021, with a large proportion of the population fully inoculated against Covid-19. It became one of the first places in Europe to reduce restrictions following a winter of lockdowns, in what was dubbed ‘Operation Freedom’.
Gibraltar is currently doling out booster doses to the over-40s, healthcare workers, and other “vulnerable groups,” and administering vaccines to children aged between five and 12.
Similarly well-vaccinated countries have also reported surges in Covid-19 infections recently. In Singapore, where 94% of the eligible population have been inoculated, cases and deaths soared to record highs at the end of October, and have since subsided slightly. In Ireland, where around 92% of the adult population is fully vaccinated, cases of Covid-19 and deaths from the virus have roughly doubled since August.

I flew with KLM from UK 2 weeks ago, had no problems at all checking in or boarding with free visa on arrival.
They wanted to see COVID PCR test certificate, COVID insurance, COE for Thailand, and ASQ reservation details.
I flew from Newcastle. No problems boarding in Amsterdam either.

Hey Thailand I have money to spend but won't spend it on quarantine hotels. Let me back in the country and isolate at home. ????

None of the vaccines are fully FDA approved.
They have emergency approval only.
Pretty risky if you ask me.

Let's look at Thailand's Covid-19 cases and deaths vs Greece.
World Health Organization website links below.
https://covid19.who.int/region/euro/country/gr
https://covid19.who.int/region/searo/country/th
Greece with much higher cases and deaths, opens its country to tourists for the unvaccinated and vaccinated.
Unvaccinated just need to show a negative PCR test, no quarantine!
Open up Thailand the numbers don't add up to keep it restricted.

There is only one way to get out of this. Start vaccinate people 24h x 7 , and do it quick, let people with mild symptoms stay at home and recuperate, no need for a hospital bed . Only those with severe symptoms should be admitted to hospital, this will give the nurses, doctors and healthcare professionals some breathing space and let them care for those in need, let people live and allow alcohol at restaurants, beaches etc. as it is the mosts important income for the business owners, and stop with this ridicules bans after a certain business hours , Covid is amongs us 24h a day. The government seem to kill everything for the most majority of the Thai population and also the rest of us. It is a shame that such proven incompetence exist 2021... and forget to open up Thailand if you can’t execute vaccinations to the vast majority of the population with start immediately... People want there lives back and they can’t wait forever or maybe even ever. Covid will not disappear...
Why the need for an experimental vaccine when the survival rate is averaging at 99.6 % in Thailand???

I visited the Wang Prachan border in Satun today.
I went through the same procedures as last time but was informed that the requirement has been lifted for this border crossing.
It is now only mandatory to go through these procedures when arriving at an airport.
Therefore, everything is now back to the way it was before.
