Watching my neighbors I had the impression only 580.000 are not illiterate in this country

You wanna keep alcoholics away from the booze? Chain 'em!

If it "has become", this presumes a time when it wasn't.
How many decades ago was this wonderful time in thailand?
According to a government official, the "culture" of tea money only came to Thailand with the Chinese immigrants...

In a second phase they may decorate tanks and granade launcher in a now you see it- now you don't style with hello kitty designs. Where is David Copperfield when you need him?

I read as far as this:
"As journalists are given the freedom to cover stories of violence and rising political tensions..."
As long as they don't investigate and cover the crimes of influential people?
Welcome to the wonderful world of self censorship!

...and in our English language seminar in August 2014 we will explain to all invited Governors, Police officers and members of the press the terms "sting operation" and "undercover." We hope you will participate en masse and promise it will not create a headache.

One can only hope that she is now a more mature and responsible PM, after the bitter experience of the past few months, and she now knows full well, how the people feel about her brother and his cronies, as well as the wrath of the Thai people should they not be treated fairly. I think that we all hope that in the future she will be a wise and intelligent Pm and listen to the voice of the people and the ones that care about the country and not their pockets.
Do you sell some of the stuff you smoke?

Well it's about F&%$ing time! Man am I ever pissed off. I tried to get this in the media more than a month ago, when 12 people we know off died in Chiang Dao of H1N1. I tried with Bangkok Post, who left me on hold for more than 10 minutes, when I told them what it was about. I tried with the Nation, sending them several emails with my phone number and real name, etc. to confirm it and I tried with TV, but was only able to talk about it in a local CM forum, because of TV rules. I even contacted WHO (World Health Organization). About a week later, the Thai Chiang Mai News, did an article, saying that three people died in Chiang Dao Hospital of H1N1. It was in Thai, so I could not post it on TV. Plus it was a lie, because at least a dozen people had died since then, who had been to Chiang Dao Hospital because of H1N1, but I guess they didn't count all the ones that died in the ambulances, on the way to Chiang Mai, from Chiang Dao Hospital???
Anyways, about 10 days after I tried to contact all the media, our daughter got H1N1, too and almost died on the way to McCormick Hospital. She is fine now and back in school.
Two days ago, another lady, who owns a small coffee shop told me that her daughter also had it, but she could not afford the proper medicine, so she was sick for a long time, but is better now.
If somebody would have listened, maybe this could have been contained earlier. At least 10 of the people who died up here, all came from a very small area in Chiang Dao District (Tunglakong), so maybe that is where it originated?
Because of greed and coverups, more people died. This is sickening!
Greed is probably killing more people here than any other desease.

The use of the work cheep, is incorrect, the phrase of less expensive is more accurate. Cheap also could indicate the the standards of quality and service are also low.
I thought that's why they chose the word cheap

Some people seem to forget that the poor traffic police have been hit hard financially by the anti government protests. These have been difficult times for them what with having to keep a low profile instead of being out and about collecting fines.
did you forget they get a government salary as well ? all that tea money they collect is just a one of the "perks " of the job
unless they been living well outside their means im sure a few weeks protest hasnt put them in financially " difficult times "
and if it has then they deserve it
did you forget they get a government salary as well ?
Isn't that exactly what the BIB forget more often than not?
"im sure a few weeks protest hasnt put them in financially " difficult times "
Did the driving force "greed" ever cross your mind?

It only works in a country where AoT and TAT get away with their genius math formular:
1% increase of nothing is still a 1% increase.

Was the shut down of all 7-eleven, foodstalls and illegal EPL betting part of his proposal?
That could make it work.

Siamese People Progress
Aren't they about 75 or 80 years behind the times?
The problem seems to be- according to the Buddhist calendar they think they are 543 years ahead.
A wise guy once said:
“Change the first digit in 2557 to 1 and you have the number of the year they are actually living in. Hence, you can expect the first industrial revolution to take place in about 200 years.”

Even if both run on other poeples passports, how did the guys get into the country with all the biometric scans at the immigration check at the airports?
Unless the warrants were issued after arrival, I wonder how they got here. With an interpol warrant on your back (and in the computer system), you would not get through immigration at airports in Amsterdam, London, Frankfurt or New York.

As i mentioned before - total embarrassment to the nation

On the other hand, it's calming to know that the Thai government is located in two politically stable nations now.
