  1. Another solution is to get the yellow thugs off the streets and let normal people get on with their lives!!

Another meaningless march or yet another D-day don't solve any problems!!

Letting the government continue with their unrestrained corruption doesn't solve any problems either.

Creating a fascist council introduces a multiplicity of radically new problems.

But I notice you also not agree with a council hand picked by the Thai people that could include members of both sides

Oh sorry that would not benifit your beliefs would is

"a council hand picked by the Thai people that could include members of both sides" i don't remember Suthep said so.What he said was esaan people are to stupid to vote.Well if my party did not win an election for 20 yrs .................

  2. So the Government should let protesters terrorising the capital and keep away anyone who is against Suthep's terrorist's ????

Look's like the first step to dictatorship as they want the right to protest only for them .

And @ poisonus, you really think Suthep is in defense mode ?? So you also think violence is only violence when fighting, bombing etc... is involved, NO, I don't think so, this protesters are very violent to the country, to economy and democracy, but followers of a terrorist, they are in a sleep mode, but more and more are waking up now, lets hope all will.......

How are the protesters "terrorizing the capital"?

I live right next to one of the protest sites. There is no "terrorizing" going on.

Oh well they don't let people go to work is what?If I need documents from amper I can't get them because amper is closed or yellow thugs in front who might beat me up,you call that what?Besides that which legitimation has Suthep to close government offices? He should sit in prison right now,and organisations like EC,Army,Police etc are in need of a leader change if they support Suthep or just sit and watch. It is the job of the army to protect the normal citizen from people like Suthep

  3. Human Rights Watch urges govt protection for protesters

    How about protection *from* protesters?

What incidents of shootings and bombings are being perpetrated by the protestors?

Maybe you refer to sound pollution from mass whistle-blowing? 'dam_n those people, blowing a whistle on the mass corruption of the PTP Government' (TIC)

Did u know not everybody follwos the undemocratic yellow dirt? How about the people who like to go work but can't?how about the people who need urgent documents from any amper, how about the people who need to work but can't because streets are blocked, how about the people who voted for ptp?any answers?

  4. "People with medical issues urged to prepare for 'shutdown'"

Wow, PT's fear campaign in full swing now. First it's illegal to join the demos, now this. Still better than yesterday's threats in the 'combined forces' article.

And just what do you suggest they tell people, do nothing, or warn them as a responsible gov would do ? or crackdown on the protesters properly that are potentially endangering lives ? I agree that would be far the best solution, but they let them march so do the next best thing and your whining about it ???

    Yeeesh some people are crazy.gif.pagespeed.ce.dzDUUqYcHZ.gif

whining your word of the day?

Hospitals as far as I am aware are not being blocked. Lanes are being left open for emergency vehicles. The govt should be preparing ways to deal with any life threatening situations and talking to suthep about how to do this.

I don't like suthep, i don't agree with his plans or this shutdown. Neither do I think the govts scaremongering, belligerent, threatening manner is helping.

edit: note no insulting emoticon attached.

Yeah and airports won't be blocked too,and Kim Il Suthep is a real good guy who loves Thailand and is doing all that for the poor people of Thailand, urrrg

  5. Well considering I don't drink that knocked that one into a cocked hat.

Putting the obvious as simply as possible you stated that you don't want to see Thais die. In another post you said that you wanted the Shinawatra name wiped from the face of the earth which would indicate you'd like them dead. They're Thai aren't they? I used the Samoan reference ( it could have been any country) to indicate the flaw in your posts meaning that the Shinawtras must be from another country as you don't want to see Thais die but you'd like the Shinawatras dead.

But you knew that already didn't you?

Considering you don't drink makes your posting even more ludicrous as it removed one of the potential reasons for you to blame it on.

I didn't say I want the Shinawatra's dead!! I said " I want the Shinawatra NAME wiped from the face of the earth".

As to them being Thai (Chinese Thai) you would never ever think that as they have been responsible for killing thousands of Thai's and raping Thailand of so much of it's lost prosperity. Hardly a decent thing to do to you're fellow countrymen, wouldn't you agree!!

I hope you are not implying that I want all Samoans dead as they have done nothing bad to warrant me wishing this.

I would get Tarit on to you for slandering me and besmirching my character with your accusation that I want all Samoans dead. However, this would not do me any good as you have 'immunity' as you are a red shirt lackey and not one of Suthep's 'devil men'!!

Of course you'll point to my posts that have me as a red shirt lackey as Im already on record here as saying thaksin is odious. While you're at it maybe you'd clarify as to what you meant by wiping the sinawatra name fRom the face of the earth. I mean in a clear concise manner as opposed to your usual ill thought out hysterical replies.

On second thoughts don't bother. Your reply would more than likely consist of the same small minded ranting by numbers in an attempt to cover that you're a classic case of somebody not as bright as they think they are. Although we have to be thankful for small mercies that at least now you don't post in block capitals to get your "point" ( in the loosest sense of the word) across.

Prove to me that your IQ is over 100 as you do not seem to understand simple things and prove that your middle name is NOT Troll as I find some (all) of your responses and retorts incomprehensive twaddle undeserving of a reply!!

Maybe u should prove if your IQ is over 50 as you do not see what untouchables, bkk elite and army are trying to do,better 1000Thaksins in Thailand than one KIm IL Suthep

  6. Getting your name off the books DOES NOT mean killing them off, GET IT ??

Any decent court may well have had the evidence enough to convict someone who GOT RID- through police action, people handling drugs. If this happened say in UK and the said PM ordered this, what do you think would have been the outcome ???

Or do you not believe any order was not given OR no one was GOT RID OF, get real.

First you said wiping their name off the face of the earth, and now you say getting their name off the books. Which one is it? Because no, I don't get it.

And you've got evidence of Thaksin personally ordering to kill drug dealers? Is that why you're so upset with him? That he allegedly ordered the police to crack down on drug dealers?

"First I said wiping their name" sorry to disappoint you I didn't. GET IT ??? I said it didn't mean they have to die.

The other point re-drug subject, you look up the reports about this. It is not the reason I am upset with Thaksin-personally I do not care for dictatorial regimes drunk with power for their own importance. No one in office should act as a control freak.

How do you think these near 3,000 persons died ??? suicide???

And what is wrong with killing 3000drugdealers or people around them????USA does the same thing. They send their hitech toys and everybody who is near a Taliban dies also

  7. Marcos, Mugabe, Peron. They were all elected into office. Looked how it turned out for their country. Just because a government is elected into office doesn't mean it's a democracy.

It's the simple minded people who actually believe the BS about this being the rich 'elites' vs the poor downtrodden farmers. You guys are as brainwashed as the retards who have fallen in love with the cult of Shinawatra. This country needs something new because this Thai 'democracy' has failed so far. Idiots think an election is the way to go. Sure someone wins the election and someone loses and then a few years later, we have another wave of protests. Enough is enough. Time for something new.

This is what I mean ^^^

This "them" and "us" thing is in your head, its seemingly consuming you as you spend hours everyday of your life writing this pish online when 99% of people here cant even vote <deleted>. This "you dont love Suthep like me so you love Thaskin" BS is nauseating - most of us dont love either, we see them for what they are, manipulative power hungry freaks, as bad as eachother.

One thing you do have right is when you say this country needs something new, but it sure as hell isn`t a man that huge swathes of the country hate and is indicted in murdering dozens of his own citizens.

The stage is set for a new party to emerge with a charasmatic leader promising an end to corruption and offer a new Thailand away from the old system, someone who can unite against the old. Thats the only scenario someone from a "Western" country should support. All the guff you write above about how Khun Suthep is your hero is embarrassing.

So what are you saying? That everyone here on TV, including yourself shouldn't post our opinions? Seriously, that sounds like what you're saying. If that's the case, stop being a bloody hypocrite and start first. People like you are idiots. You post your opinions on this country as much as the next person but when someone doesn't agree with you, you say he shouldn't post because he can't vote or is a foreigner. Boggles the mind really.

Suthep is not some white knight unfortunately right now, he's all the country has. He's tainted for sure but compared to the Shinawatras and their cronies, he sure smells better.

What do you actually know about Suthep and the people behind him?

  8. Right enough is enough when are the police force going to man up? Don't forget that all of these officers laid down their weapons and let the protesters do what they wanted a couple of weeks ago. Have they not learnt anything from 2010? Tough measures are needed NOW or else it is going to be a repeat of 2010 except this time it will be yellows being killed.

How can ANY foreigner on this forum support this mob?

They are FASCISTS who are against elections who have already stated that they will not let people cast their vote and now they have MURDERED a police officer.

The police here are cowards and bullies. They're not going to 'man up'. If they ever grow some balls and push hard, they know the protestors will push back even harder. Whatever the case, this government doesn't have the support of the army and they're the ones with the real balls, not the police. It is extremely doubtful they will move against the protestors and it's likely they'll move against Poo's government if the police start killing protestors.

Save your 'righteous anger'. They're not fascists. They just want a corrupt government out. And before you yell bloody murder, until the investigation of his death is complete, we don't know what really happened.

It feels funny Kim Il Suthep is leader of People's Democratic Reform Committee, just imagine Armstrong would be leader of Anti Doping Tour De France

  9. A very good decision. Too many Europeans, Americans, Australians and others nationalities - come to Thailand, and stay here illegals, after visa expire. If Thais go without a visa (30 days free) in any country in the world - they do not stay there, they do not need other countries, they have Thailand. A farang - go to Thailand huge amounts, thousands, I sometimes get the feeling that in America and in Europe - have nothing to eat, so many of them stay and work here illegally.

They work in Thailand illegally because immigration makes it super difficult to obtain a work visa, and most jobs are also restricted for non thais.just by the way do u have number for me?how many farangs are working illegal here?you probabably mean foreigner from Laos,Cambodia and Myanmar

  10. A fair decision. I fully support it. When my wife applied for a German visa, the application has been rejected. Why? They do not like to see attractive young Thai girls in Germany even if they are officially married! Only after I told my chief - i will not return to Germany without my wife and he specially asked local authorities in Munich to contact the embassy in Bangkok, the visa one month duration has been issued. In total, it took longer than 3 months to get it. I do not complain, to stay in Bangkok together was probably the happiest time in my life. In Germany we got a new visa one year duration and payed for it. After being in Germany for about 8 months, my wife returned to Thailand for about 3 months for some family business and came back to Germany before the visa expired. As a result, her German visa has not been extended! Because the authorities do not like she was not full time in Germany. At least, we have been told such BS. Recently, I have relocated to Thailand and wish to reside here as we cannot live together in Germany. Please, charge every German visiting Thailand 4000 Thai Baht at once! I am not a German citizen :-)

If u r not German why the German embassy should give your wife a visa?Go to your embassy and obtain a visa for ur wife!!!!Your boss went to where?Just by the way if a Germans wants to his wife to stay in Germany with him,she needs to pass an easy language test,so again why German embassy should give your wife a visa?Maybe next time you get some information first before apply for a visa

  11. dao16

You really must do better !

Please tell us the countries that have major problems with Thais "overstaying "

Almost all of western european countries, about 15 yrs ago it was super easy to get a visa for Germany for example, but after a lot of thais overstayed or disappeared........................,and again have a look to Japan right now, they just changed the visa rules for thais, but now they talk already to change it back, because

a lot of Thais overstay or disappear, and that only after 3- 4months

  12. Or how do we get the last buck out of these tourists ...... They can also start to think about an exit fee !!!bah.gif

Its not often the Thais are ''fair''.

So get the Falang to jump through the same hoops as the Thais have to, too vist the UK, and charge the same.

Or are ''we'' the chosen race not them?

How many UK,USA or German citizens overstay their visa in Thailand and start working in restaurants, brothels or karaoke shops, send 1000Euro or dollar home or totally disappear?Japan just got visa free for Thais, but a few months later Japan is thinking to change that back,I wonder why?

  13. Yes, it is true, it is far more difficult for thais to enter europe, then it is for europeans to enter thailand.

    Now, why would that be?

If 1000 europeans enter thailand with no hassles, 999 will return before their visas expire, 1 will stay on illegally for working / whoring / or whatever.

If 1000 thais enter europe with no hassles, how many will return before their visas expire?

    Please Samran, answer that one.

All the Thais I know who go there now return before their visa expires.

I would guess the number would be less than the amount of UK overstayers, overstaying their Thai visas. smile.png

Yeah right, ask Japan what they think about thais traveling visa free to Japan

  14. Suthep knows how the system and those who are within the system , work and think. I might not agree with some of his antics and verbal ranting, but to call for reform of a system that he is showing the people of Thailand and the world, how broken the Thai system of government is, is more than anyone else has done.

The incompent people have been put in the spotlight and they are just digging the hole deeper with the press releases and finger pointing, they have been making over the past few weeks. Both sides of this mud fight seem to be looking for the other side to make major error so they can win. They seem to be unaware that most games are lost due to a combination of errors which involves several people, not a single person or incident.

Yeah Suthep knows democrats can't win any election as long Shinawatra clan is in Thailand.Suthep knows democrats can't win any election as long rural people have a voting right. To keep the status of army, untouchables and bkk elite Suthep comes up with his fascist planes of people council with no elections. This way he can kick out Shinawatra clan, and change the constitution in favor of army, untouchables and bkk elite,so they can keep their master status and keep exploit the rural[majority]people.

  15. Nice to see Lt Sunisa landing on her feet, with this government spokesperson lark.

I think this is the same woman who claimed she paid her own expenses to write a book about Thaksin (while employed and being paid as an Army Lieutenant) called "Thaksin Where Are You" which alongside a transcript of former singer Arisaman speaking at a red shirt rally is perhaps the single easiest way to replicate what a steaming pile of diaorhea would look like in paper form.

    http://www.nationmultimedia.com/2007/08/01/politics/politics_30043291.php

Nice work if you can get it, that's for sure. Almost as good as a former minister and Khunying who has alledgedly had her hand in the till the last 18 months for government PR and media departments while pretending to be focused on creating a life about Buddhism, and all the rest of the scumbags who hang around with the erstwhile Dubai based fugitive convict.

No, we would definitely not want to encourage nepotism, this administration is all about putting the right person in the right job on merit....it's never based on vindictive punishment for past actions, and massive rewards for being a spineless suck up.

Would make a wonderful classified ad though:

"Wanted. Spineless individuals with presentable face, no brain and a desire to profiteer from their countrymen/women for leading jobs in corrupt administration. Must be able to calculate 40%. Willing to travel to Dubai, Hong Kong or Montenegro a plus. Discretion and ability to tell lies with a straight face considered important. No fatties. Send resume and recent photo to Notapom Patmadog"

As the woman in the coffee house in Harry Met Sally said, "I'll have what she's having."

Did u notice by any chance this article is about Suthep and Yingluk?

  16. "ready with nominee"Who is Suthep, who is PDRC?Did they win an election? It is bad enough Yingluk dissolved the government because a small minority is going on the streets. If Suthep comes through,it would either mean democracy is dead in Thailand,or in the future everybody who dislike a ruling government is going on the streets, threatning a bit and topples an elected government to be PM of Thailand.I think it's enough now.Suthep and friends showed their point, but now it's time to go home.Next elections are soon, and if people of Thailand decide for PTP,so be it.The people[Army, untouchables and elite]behind Suthep don't care at all about Thailand, all they care is keeping their status. Why democrat party did not win any election in the last 20 yrs?Why PTP won the last elections?Because democratic party gives a shit about the average t hai, they don't want to share the cake at all with the average thai.PTP is not much better but at least they give a tiny bit of the cake to the average thai.U don't win elections by telling PTP voters"you are stupid"You win election by promising money and better life to the people, and u win another election if u keep your promises, and this is why thais voting for PTP.As long army, untouchables and elite not change their thinking and doing,as long they won't win any election and Thailand will never come to peace.IF Suthep comes through, then what will happen with the 15 million PTP voters? They will come out and 2010 will happen again.Like that we are going in circles.IF the democratic party and people behind them care about Thailand, they should start work and come up with a program to beat PTP at next election

Paragraphs are very useful you know and there is a gap between sentences!!

    sorry for that

  17. Perhaps drunk with what they believe is power. However, the turnout for the major protest was quite poor. The Nation seems to want to talk-up the numbers. After weeks of planning, 100,000 people is not huge in a city of more than 8,000,000 ( and many of the supporters came from other parts of the country). PDRC is completely out of touch with the sensible majority of the Thai population; they do not want an unelected committee running the country but WOULD like these issues resolved through dialogue and elections.

The current government has bent over backwards to facilitate dialogue, to avoid violence, to keep the economy functioning. Sadly a small group of fanatics and despots seem determined to engage in brinkmanship and push Thailand to the edge. Every Thai I speak with about the situation, expresses extreme frustration that certain groups are pushing PDRC proposals as consensus rather than what they represent on truth: a full-frontal assault on democracy. MDM Shinawatra must be allowed to rule as caretaker until the election on Feb 2. If that does not happen, Thailand will have given in to mob rule and have taken a giant step backwards in the eyes of the international community

I would be interested to know which group of Thais you are talking to. In my office department (Bangkok) most, if not all, supported the demonstration against the amnesty bill. Yes, they are now frustrated with Suthep to varying degrees as they do not know when it will end and do not trust him. But they are all very clear that Thaksin needs to be removed from the picture and barred from being involved in politics permanently if we are to see an end to the divide. For this last reason, despite their frustration and lack of trust in Thep, they do not want elections in February. They first want the ground work putting in place to prevent parliamentary dictatorship and then elections. If this means bearing with Thep for the time being then so be it.

"... they do not want elections ..."

Thank you. I have nothing to add.

Ooh cherry picking. Aren't you clever ? I would suggest you read to the end of the paragraph. I believe it includes the words ..in February..........and then elections."

How about the democratic party starts working and try to convince the majority of thais to vote for them at next election?Point is they can't or don't want come up with a program to make a majority vote for them. They have the backing of army, untouchables and elite, this makes them lazy and they think they don't need a program.
