This guy deserves jail if only for being a dumbass and broadcasting his crime live for everyone to see.
-
Lol why would they join up and give up refusing customers, overcharging and not switching on meters?
-
Dunno why people are making so much noise. TG may not be the best airline out there but it sure beats the European airlines like BA or Lufhthansa. Let's not even bother to mention the American airlines. They may lag behind SIA or Cathay Pacific or EVA but then again those airlines are 5 star airlines. Anyway, an extra $30 on economy and $45 on business to Europe? Yeah that's gonna break our bank!

you still don't understand hypothetical nor can you even fathom I didn't blame anyone, an accident is an accident. You're finding it offensive that a DEAD victim cannot be blamed is frankly, the idiotic thing I've ever heard.
You seem to think that regardless of circumstance, if someone dies, someone goes to jail, but you state "I doubt she will go to jail though." which is it? The law is the law but you believe in selective prosecution. Where is the "law is the law" in that?
Well excuse my bad reading skills. Or maybe I should excuse your bad writing?
The way I read it was that you were blaming the tourist for looking the wrong way. While possible, there was no proof it happened. Reading the article, no one really knows how it went down. Except you. Oh wait, it was ‘hypothetical’!
How long have you been here? You should know that while there are laws, a lot of the time the law doesn’t apply. All you need is a wai and an apology and perhaps some compensation and then all is forgiven. You’re just one of those people who wants to feel offended about something but just ignore or fail to see the reality of the situation.

Sheesh! are missing the big picture here? Here is the big picture, the rest is hypothetical which is irrelevant.
“There was no alcohol involved, she's just 24 and a student. But by local law, she's going to jail.”
one more time But by local law, she's going to jail
It seems to me that regardless of the circumstances, if you hit somebody and they die, you go to jail.
Ummm, what don't you get here?
Someone died, someone has to pay. The law is the law. I doubt she will go to jail though.
Whatever the case, I just find it offensive you put the blame on the DEAD victim by assuming the victim was looking the wrong way when hit. Frankly, that’s the most idiotic thing I ever heard.

The driver goes to jail for the pedestrian's mistake???
Destroy a 24 year old student's life, miss school, miss graduation, how does this even make sense?
Umm maybe I missed something but where in the article does it say the tourist was unaware of the car direction and it was entirely her mistake? It’s an accident but sheesh talk about victim blaming here!

“There was no alcohol involved, she's just 24 and a student. But by local law, she's going to jail.”
I very much doubt that! It’s a wai and a light fine and maybe community service

So stupid.
Why do these gold diggers think just because a guy is white, he'll have money? Sad to say but a lot of white trash come to Thailand!

“I have no excuse.”
Well at least she didn't blame it on alcohol!

That's what the BiBs here are for. Letting people off when 'no harm is done'.
Oh and having excellent photo ops too!

Police said they suspected that Narongsak might have been suffering from stress related to personal issues, which drove him to commit suicide.
I find it truly amazing the police here always jump to conclusions as to why a suicide or murder happens without even bothering to investigate first.

In a small altercation like this, YES!
Maybe you have a wierd view and prefer 3-5 years? Sit down and think a bit, please.I disagree.
While I don't expect YEARS in jail for these morons, a fine AND a few days in the slammer would be perfect. A fine, especially a big one MIGHT deter someone from acting like an idiot. But jail time would definitely make them think twice before punching it out. The problem with this country is that a lot of things are forgiven with a wai and some money. A short time in a dirty jail with other dirty people is much more effective.
That guy who punched the retiree bloody this morning. He probably thinks like you and sees it as a 'small altercation'. A few thousand baht is small price to pay to sucker punch a senior citizen. Oh Pattaya!
I throw your words back at you. Sit down and think a bit, please.
-
Wow! 5000, 10000 baht fine is 'throwing the book'.
-
OMG another music genius gone this year.
-
Ahh Phuket and their taxi drivers again. Wish this country could go Uber exclusively and just put these thugs out of business. Why bother pretending to be a taxi driver. Just go rob someone for real!
We look forward to their wais and 500 baht fines.

I have no respect for any cop and will never have They are just brainless slaves for retarded governments.
I look forward to the day you disrespect them on camera like these 2 morons.

The idiot deserved it. However this shows the locals can do a lot of sh#t in this country and get away with a 500 baht fine, just not insulting a cop! And wow, did the courts act fast!
-
Bet you Disney sues when they hear of this.
-
Well with names, we know who provided the beer and who provided the meth!
-
Please! Check the financials and they'll probably find some unknown deposits after each 'wedding' they attended.
-
An apology? I was thinking the article would follow up saying she was given a 500 baht fine also.
-
I'm sure they'll find the gunman soon. The police in this country are actually quite efficient if they decide to actually work. And since the victim is a billionaire's son, I'm sure they will do much more than their usual lazy nothing.

Yeah he seems actually like an alright guy. 4 extra items is nothing. I had a thai lady cut in front of me with a full cart. Very rude. The french dude should have kept his mouth shut. He is asking for trouble.
Did you start this TV account just to defend yourself, Geoffrey?

Well his two subsequent videos have just antagonised the situation.
The first video was just pure profanity and the second was blaming DT.
I didn't mean apologise to Frenchy, he deserved the mouthful for being intrusive, I meant apologise to the cashier and any other innocent bystanders.LOL! There's a third one now! I only managed to watch 5 mins before wanting to gag. This guy is not only a douchebag but from the 5 mins I've watched, he's a pretentious douchebag as well!

Of course she does. She sits on the floor like a dog and defends her master like one. Or she gets beaten and starved.
