inbound duty free shops, i don't understand why they have them anyway, maybe to keep king power and its owners happy

No I didn't miss the description of the department he heads, and one of the reasons why it's called "Slow Horses". All the same it is a government department which he heads up and although he may not care about the Department, surely he has to care about his personal hygiene??
No point in going on about this because it's purely my personal viewpoint and in all of the other many detective series/police series/adventure series I have seen, no one has been this ridiculously filthy.
don't forget 'slow horses' does not exist, its fiction, someone made it all up to sell a book i expect.

Can it really be true ? I love isaan and Korat. The downside is getting there. Train is slow and driving is just horrible. I drive up route 2 and feel I need valium afterwards. Aggressive does not really describe driving standards. Is the motorway just a racetrack best left alone or will mean those of us who prefer a leisurely drive be able to use the regular road underneath and enjoy more relaxed experience. Then there is still the climb up past the cement works .
are you saying the motorway is open end to end,
I doubt it will be more relaxed underneath

if using the USA passport to retire to Thailand, you will need to use the monthly income method, but you would need 1 year's worth of monthly bank income, no average amount, 65,000thb each separate month
if using Argentine, then you may be able to obtain proof of income from the Argentine Embassy in Thailand, which should satisfy immigration in Thailand

PV system fitted yesterday 9 x 570w longi panels. 5kw maxsky hybrid inverter 49v 245ah nmc battery, 6 of the panels had been fitted on a previous visit, nice tidy job, system working well today ( thursday) 13.10kwh production, started producing at 7.40am stopped at 5.40pm, battery full by midday, production peaked at 4.13kwh at 10.30am, we had used the battery the previous evening and all night. so 0 units on the meter since install completed at 7pm on wednesday
the installer from Bangkok, system fitted close to Ban chang rayong, would recommend the fitter, he spoke ok English well enough to explain system to me, will add some photo's later

Took them years to get a simple 90 report to work online, don't hold out much hope of this, but it would be nice, also to get reentry, but how would the PP get stamped?
get an email, then go to 7/11 they will stamp the passport with an offical Thai immigration stamp, easy

Go out more? Just came back from a holiday in Ratchaburi I have not seen a single house with solar, yes maybe because you are a Farang you designed your house for solar. Normal Thai houses don't have solar. But as you know they be better off. I am not complaining but the government should help to install one.
i am in the throws of having a system installed, going to be 9x 570 longi panels, 5kw deye hybrid inverter with a 11kw battery 48v 248ah, the installer from Bangkok is busy all the time, i had to wait a month for him to fit me in, he found some time for his men to come and fit the panels, so he is coming next week to complete the install, system will not be seen from street level

I think it’s likely the agent lost her contact at the IO, maybe over a payment dispute, and had not yet cultivated a new one.
of course there may be a perfectly innocent explanation, but we will never hear it.
dream on

he does not have to attend, someone can attend on his behalf, but everything needs to be completed correct, so for this i would recommend an agent, they are doing lots so they know the score, they will also pay for it as well, about ฿10,000 all in

should be 90 days from date of application for yearly extension
quote '' The first application for extension of stay by the foreigner is equivalent to the notification of staying in the Kingdom over 90 days''

Fuse gave up or bad connection 🤔 Should be cheap/easy to fix.
Yes you can connect anything you want to the battery but I wouldn't as after a while it will drain the battery down to nothing.
as long as its 12volts, some dashcams as well as usb are 5volts, would also need a fuse

Check the actual specs.
But yes, the Huawei units use high-voltage packs that are specific to Huawei, no second source. So, they can charge what they like
Deye use more common 48V packs with many sources.
the fitter called round today to drop off the panels, now going for Deye inverter with a 48v 240ah battery set up.
-
i am thinking of having a solar system installed at first without batteries, but with the intension of adding later, the inverters that the chap uses are either a Huawei sun 2000 3KTL L1 or a Deye Lvtosun 5kw, i seem to recall reading somewhere that Huawei inverters only allow expensive Huawei batteries to be used, if so if i chose the Deye inverter instead could cheaper battery solutions be used.
