Even better news!
The 30 + 60 can then be extended by an addition 30 days ( 30 + 60 + 30 = 120 Days in country )This is offered and provided at every Immigration Office ????
I do this as often as I require.....
Means that you only have to leave Thailand 3 times per year Max....
one of those 3 would have to be by air

hardware house on the 36 road do a 2k range of motorcycle paint colours, also do a clear coat

you need to obtain a non immigrant 'O' visa first in order to apply for a yearly extension,
so its 30 day visa exempt entry stamp, ( a 30 day extension on this entry is possible) then with 14 day still remaining on your 30 day permission to stay stamp, obtain at local immigration office (2000thb) a non 'O' visa giving you a 90 day permission to stay stamp, then in the last 30 days of that permission stamp apply for a yearly extension

as others have posted you need to have 12 x 65,000thb showing as received from abroad, so this method is good for the 2nd year in Thailand.
you would need 800,00thb in a bank account in your name only to obtain your 1st yearly extension, you could obtain a one off 60 day visit Thai wife extension to give you more time to raise the 800,000thb.
as others have posted you could obtain multi entry non 'O' married to a Thai visa from savannakhet to cover your 1st year, then use the monthly income route for the 2nd years 'retirement' yearly extension.

We travel in different circles. High season at Kacha gaeden side for 2 adults one kid was 3500 baht/nt
It's nice to have a good buffet breakfast and Kacha does a pretty good job. Open beach side seating, nice
we stayed at kacha over the 6 day weekend, 2 nights 30/31 hillside building 1,650thb per night, but no lift and lots of stairs, food, rooms and service very good, beach side for the 1st and 2nd were 1,300 thb per night,

arrived at the ferry terminal at Ao Tammachat at 1pm, not much traffic heading towards the island, while on the ferry we were overtaken by an empty smaller ferry heading to the island, by the time we arrived the smaller ferry was loaded and on its way back to the mainland, when we were driving off the ferry there were vehicles parked anywhere there was a space, as we drove towards white sands beach the traffic was queuing for 3Km, by now it was 1.45pm,

I think you have done well to stay here 7 months on visa exempt entries + extensions, you don't mention your age or marital status, but you really need to sort out a long term visa, at a minimum a tourist visa, coupled with a good reason if questioned by IO,

Is that for a marriage extension? For a retirement one I think they require the full 12 months, which is what I submitted back in February. The OP discovered this week that they now want a bank statement as well, but it's not clear whether the same is required for marriage. When was your last renewal?
i was replying to a post about marriage extensions

Are you seriously saying that immigration offices (and in particular Rayong in this instance) don't require any supporting financial proof in the form of certified passbook copies and/or bank statements in the case of marriage extension applications? Even allowing for the fact that this is Thailand I find this incredibly hard to believe!
But there again maybe we are at cross-purposes here??
rayong require a bank letter and copies of last 2 months of passbook, undated on day of application

Thanks Dr Jack. I think I will get the visa beforehand as it seems simpler than having to go to the immigration office and ask for an extension.
Thanks for your advice though.
ask for advice and then ignore the answers from long time members. seems like a plan,
the best/easier way for what you want to do is a visa exempt 30 day entry with a 30 day extension, done lots of times by lots of people, a tourist visa on line application is not straight forward.

FWIW, I know this is a bit different and is a Thai Ampur requirement, but I'm currently trying to register our marriage (I'm American, she's Thai, and we were married in Abu Dhabi) at our Ampur, but they require our original certificate to be certified and translated into Thai, as well as passports and other things. Sounds easy, but UAE Embassy will not certify the original certificate, although properly registered in UAE at the time, unless the MoFA in Abu Dhabi certifies it as real, then and only then will the embassy certify it and only after that will the legal translators translate it. We probably will get remarried in Thailand just to make it legal here....
Sorry for the diversion.
you will need a divorce to marry again

Thanks for the advice! The other family members do have (and always use) their own mail order 'accounts'. This parcel was addressed to my Mrs and had her mobile telephone number printed upon the address label.
my wife had a COD delivery come to the house, her name but a different telephone number, paid for it as we were leaving the house, on return a pair of shoes not ordered, shoes fit but a scam, not ordered, today had a parcel deliver guy ring on her telephone number, but not ordered and a different address, so maybe another scam for a different address

because succession to the British throne is determined under common law, and not by the people.
could have been done, its called abdication, they have done it in resent history, Charles is outdated and last years model, and have horse face as a queen, William would be a better choice for the younger generation

Maestro,
My apology for sloppy post and my scanner is out of commission.
It was A O1 multi to stay, with spouse, 1 year, booked in Savnnakeht. And, I would just purchase another Multi visa.
as you got it in savannakhet i assume its a married to Thai multi entry non immigrant O visa, which gives a 90 day permission to stay stamp on each entry during the visa's validity, not sure what a o1 multi is

I think that is your problem, applying for a Non O based on Marriage when the last time you had such a visa was three years ago. Don't you think they would be suspicious of that three year gap? As far as they would be concerned you have to start all over, whence the questioning and scrutiny of documents and Home visit etc.
Hardly new rules for Non O visa application.
its an application for a yearly extension, not a visa
i think the op posted clearly in his op, he had a married to Thai yearly extension for a few years, but for some reason had to leave and re-enter Thailand to start the yearly extension process afresh,
the point of the thread was to warn others that the married yearly extension applications are all being looked at with a magnifying glass, due to the old boss of his immigration office leaving with a cloud over his head

if you add her to your bank account will not be acceptable to immigration for your extension,
i have thought about having the bank app on a phone and then once deceased someone could use the app to transfer the money out, the bank would be none the wiser.

Car paint in Cans?
in Pattaya
Posted
take the 36 road heading towards rayong/ trat, go past the roadworks at the 331 junction, keep driving and you come over the brow of a hill, maybe 10km, and then a petrol station with a macdonalds, hardware house is immediately prior to that, paint cans are on the far left of the aircon section of the shop. good hunting
