  1. The poor do not deserves the 30-baht scheme.

It took too much money from the tax payer.

Please don't get me wrong, I am not saying the poor do not deserves treatment.

All I am saying is that the poor should source other financial assitance fist, like broowing from the rich relatives, or obtain donation from their local temple first, to pay for proper treatment.

The reason why there are so little doctor in Thailand is because doctors are not properly paid, hence refuse to enrol to study to become a doctor.

Most doctors now specialise in skin & beauty, so they can work of clinic like Wuttisak & Nittipon, with hundreds of branches throughout Thailand, even in small villages.

  2. Scathing report looking down on these idiots with the disdain they deserve.

Good to see Sutheps English skills are on a par with his tactical nous. Absolute moron, whilst Abhisit is equally repulsive at least the guy has brains.

    PMS mai?

Please don't insult Suthep English ability.

Unless Suthep bought that inkjet printout from Khao San Road, he actually graduated from Middle Tennessee State University of United State of America.

And what state university did Thaksin & Yingluck been too?

  3. Without addressing the past, one issue that seems to have been overlooked in this discussion is the plight of the 'normal' Thai worker trying to make ends meet on the minimum wage of 300 baht/day. There was in interview with a female building cleaner yesterday who works near the Asoke/Petchaburi intersection. She can't afford to take the MRT of the BTS as it would consume too much of her daily wage. Do most of the people on TVF realize this about the normal Thai worker? There are hundreds of thousands of people in the same situation as this woman. You can label these protest as 'peaceful' all you want. But the bottom line is that when you disrupt the normal lives of working people to the extent of these demonstrations, they are an assault on working people and a threat to public safety. And I might add, IMHO the protests won't remain peaceful.

Thats what Suthep is banking on..

The government can easily wait out any peaceful protest.. That why Suthep will need to keep upping the ante, be it internet companies, Air traffic control or the remaining public transport route.. he HAS to create disruption to being about an endgame. He has said so clearly himself.

Otherwise we can all just sit here for weeks while bangkok economics crumble.

    No pain no gain.

I'm sorry for the poor women who only earn 300 Baht/day, and I suspect the only reason why she managed to get 300 Baht/day is due to Yingluck upsetting her employer by fixing a minimum wages of 300 baht. My guess is that she probably earned my guessing, 190 baht/day during Mark/Suthep time.

Since this woman already gains so much extra already, she should not be selfish, try to scarify a little for the common good of removing the tyrant Yingluck.

  4. The woman earns 300 baht per day as a cleaner... Watching the situation unfold over the weeks, this woman is the one person that has made any sense! Make her PM! And give her the Asian person of the year award!!

The only reason why this cleaner gets 300 Baht/day is due to Yingluck minimum wages policy, hence she must be thankful of Yingluck, and probable because of this, she could be a Red shirt supporter.

I think the writer has picked the wrong person for interview, as to me, the candidate is clearly bias.

  5. "Anat Arbhabhirama, adviser to the board of directors, said traffic at morning rush hour was lighter, but rose at 10am-11am. Still, it was lighter than the BTS has experienced during previous mass rallies."

Looking at the photo of BTS station from yesterday, I think Mr. Anat might not be telling the truth to support Thaksin.

IMHO, the number of BTS users must have gone up at least 3 times, judging from facck book photos from friends.

  6. The pictures in the first FB link are not of the same guy. Someone totally different. As for the rest, yes, I'm sure it's true that the white shirts are mostly red sympathizers (for now). It's also true that Nattawud etc are wearing white or normal clothes, but so what? If the other side was doing this, it'd be hailed as an attempt to "reach out". Remember the multicolours in 2010, mostly PAD supporters lead by a hardcore royalist but some moderates joined them as well.

Even the girl in the video that was attacked by idiot Thaksin lovers who didn't understand her sign was part of the anti-LM campaign. But decent people in the video helped her and it all ended peacefully. Obviously there will be hardcore TS fans there like the clowns shouting at her, but many are not.

    Anti-LM?? ermm.gif huh.png

    https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10203085181828129&set=a.1565708860327.74165.1163552024&type=1&theater

Oops, sorry. I wrote that in a way that was confusing. I meant that girl was apparently previously part of the anti-LM campaign. I don't know that for sure though, just what I read on FB. Not particularly relevant either way, but most people tend to think those who're anti-LM are red sympathisers and the campaign was definitely organized by those sympathetic to reds.

Anyway, I do know for certain that the guy pictured with Thaksin is not the same guy that started the 'Respect My Vote Campaign' though.

How do you know for sure?

    Photo don't lie.

BTW, 99% chula & thammasart student support Suthep. maybe 1% (rotten apple) support Thaksin.

  7. For Farangs and journalists new to the current Thaksin crisis, before you jump to conclusion, please watch this video first.

Not 100% accurate, but IMHO very close, very neutral.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQVjUsKSKUE

The narrator couldn't even pronounce Thaksin's name correctly let alone deliver a fair, balanced, and unbiased, view, showing protestors giving flowers to police, but it didn't show protestors shooting at police, throwing bombs, or slingshots loaded with bolts at police, nor the destruction of public property, and police cars bashing taxi drivers, ect, ect, ect,,, the list go's on...

    GET A GRIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wait was this sponsored by Nation?, or maybe Fox??? w00t.gif

It is not a crime to have an oversea educated Democracy loving Thai to read the script. Sorry for the imperfect pronunciation.

  8. It's always the same crap. I just hope, that Khun Suthep and his crew, were smart enough, to put hidden cameras everywhere, because, of course, the ones the Government put up, never seem to work, when a protester gets shot.

If I was him, I would have patrols with radio, in and on every tall building, checking the area, at all times and staying in radio contact. The police aren't doing their job, so they will have to protect themselves, against violence.

They could also just stay home and life a peaceful life.

    You could.

But if you are NOT out on the street, it could be viewed by your neighbor as been a red thaksin supporting buffalo.

I wouldn't take the chance, not in Bangkok anyway. Most of my lovely neighbor are yellow. I don't want to upset them.

  9. Ok thanks for your impartial pictures smile.png

Remember that everyone have right to protest, not just the side you like wink.png

As I believe the most of protesters that we saw since November are spontaneous and believe in their ideas. I see the same way also this protest. But you can turn it as it is convenient for your views.

Maybe you should prove that candle protesters are really paid by Thaksin, but let's pass on it.

End of discussion, at least by my side...

Let's hope tomorrow will not be a disaster.

I have never mentioned other people have no right to protest. Did i?

They of course have the right to vote for Thaksin.

When you ask me a question earlier, I have not answer to you directly.

    I have expected your argument.

Maybe you should PROVE that candle protesters are really paid by Thaksin, but let's pass on it.

I would agree with you on the last part, let's hope tomorrow will not be a disaster.

It's getting more colorful as days goes by.

    Red, yellow, black, White whistling.gifclap2.gifdrunk.gif

I don't know if the White receive 500 Baht each from Thaksin or not. But viewing the evident presented, maybe certain individuals (like the old man that caused the scene) are. Just my specious.

  10. The overnight terror campaign continues, further underscoring the bravery of the men and women who were sleeping on the streets. Cowards are comfortable when they can't be held accountable. And they are particularly comfortable with this particular administration. Motive can be determined by action. But it can also be determined by inaction.

Inaction of the Black shirt Suthep's guard to retaliate.

  11. ''The people should decide...''

OK Mr. Suthep, here's an idea for the ''people'' to decide. Let's have a general election.

Oh, hang on, there is one due but you have decided not to contest it..!!

    T.I.T whistling.gif

By "the people" Suthep means "his people" (the southern rubber farmers who are very smart and understand what happens. Not the brainless northern poor who never understand anything at all) (oh, and the corrupt Dems too, of course).

Suthep want power sharing (between "his" people only)

    Thanks for the generalization.

Although I do not agree with you 100%, you have the point, and quite right.

  12. The aim of the protesters is to get rid of the shinaclan. Yingluck can propose anything she wants, but anything other than her stepping down will not be accepted by the protesters.

Bhichai and the other Democrats can push their unelected council as much as they want, but any government that results from a process which doesn't involve an election will not be accepted by those who support democracy.

    Respect my vote:

    1. The paymaster and his clan should have though about that subject when in the past they said that if people don't vote for us we don't take care of you (or words to that effect).

    2. You want me to respect your vote? Well that's fine, but you must also respect my right to protest.

The Suthep will screen and select 400 MPs, so good and pure of corruption that all the "People" in Thailand will live in happiness forever.

Even the Red shirt will agree.

  13. I am worried what will happen in Pathum Wan intersection tomorrow.

I go there every evening to light candle and support peace (play John's song imagine) and 2nd Feb election.

The Yellow will make our site THE main rally site. I expect millions Yellow will be there.

We White (aka Red in sheep skin) only have a few thousand.

Will they take action against us? Will we be safe?

  14. I admire his vision, despite his chequered past. I can't see Monday not being violent. Thailand has a history of getting things done violently, and I can't see how change can be done peacefully. So we shall see. One thing is clear. Thaksin won't give up, no matter how badly things are stacked up against him, so i cannot see it ending peacefully. All those who think the election should go ahead and rattle on about upholding the law/democracy/etc, obviously have no idea how things work on Thailand. It really isn't as simple as that.

Professional politicians will say the opposite while rally support.

    Once in power . . . . . .

Haven't we seen enough already, especially in African, but USA is also not immune.

  15. So the guy didn't get a single vote prior to 2014, then at one of his rallies in front of 6 million adoring fans a plea is made to go online and vote for him and he only get 116,000 votes from his 6 million worshippers.

I think this is crap organised by the lunatic himself the same as the bluesky T.V propaganda video.

    Sour grapes.

    You are wrong.

He is only worth 5.8 million, NOT 6.
