So I registered Wednesday, received an SMS at 11pm Saturday night for a 5pm appointment today Sunday at Bangsue.
Parking was very confusing and wasn't easy.
So you drive along the front of the station (station on your left), lots of people parking on both sides of the road.
Passing Gate 1 you'll drive along the front of the building passing Gates 2, 3 & 4 then as it appears that you are driving away from the station you'll see signs directing you to turn left towards and under the station. Parking there wasn't too bad.
We arrived 4pm, finished vaccination by 5.15pm and almost all the parking in the car park and on the road had gone by then.
Getting to and particularly away from Bangsue by expressway is easy.

I know where Bang Sue station is and how to drive there from home, but where are people parking when they go for vaccine?
Any details, GPS, name of car park, where's the station car park and how to get to it, etc, would be appreciated.

I agree with your comments on the video, and yes the first question was asked again at the end of the video. I screenshot the pass certificate at the end of the video.
Last week my wife called the Department (Land Transport), as my licence was about to expire this week. She was told I had to go to book an appointment to renew in person (also at Bangjak) and I could drive on the expired license until 30 September - I don't know why that date.

Why does Geraint Thomas ride wearing 3-D specs?
I like his white specs, probably the easiest rider to spot in a peleton.
Been a great TDF this year, so many talking points. Very entertaining.
After I watch the days stage, next day I listen to Lance and George Hincapie podcast (sometimes very insightful but WAY TOO MUCH advertising) and the really brilliant The Cycling Podcast.

After years of driving past the 3 headed elephant, about 3 years back the wife and i visited. The outside of the chang is very discoloured and not so beautiful but inside it is spectacular. Gardens are lovely too. What impressed me the most was how they constructed it and the exhibition of the working drawings. Easy to get to on the BTS (chang erawan station). Deceased owner is the man who built The Sanctuary of Truth (another spectacular building worth a visit) and Ancient Siam.

They really do look like crocs when they swim.
I live right next to a khlong and fields so they're a real regular visitor to our garden. At some point every year we'll have a tiddler residing in our drains in the garden...they don't venture far from the grid then scarper back in to the grid when bothered.

Had a walk around the grounds of my son's Uni yesterday while killing time waiting him. Came across this monitor lizard having a nap in the bushes a metre or so from the footpath. Hard to see him at first, well camouflaged. This is probably the closest I've been to one to take a snap. Didn't wake him/her.
I was googling just the other day where do they sleep? Do they have a nest or what? Turns out they make long burrows. There's a type in Oz that makes a helical burrow down several metres.
Look at the claws on it. Looks like a monster from a 60s Dr Who.

There's a thai man in my mooban who goes cycling with a similar fledgling on his shoulder. It was making noise as he passed me and i heard him say back to it "ruu laaw, ruu laaw" like you'd say to your wife.
-
Interesting that there's still 2 unhatched eggs in the nest.

With Anki cards, can you only use on computer or also on an Android?
If you can use on both, presumably you have to synchronise? Easy? Is it a free feature?
If you can use Anki cards on Android, is it easy? Convenient? Or is it a pain on a small screen?
If it's easy and convenient on an Android then I might commence to use. If it's only possible to use on a computer then that wouldn't be so practical for me.

Two massive crashes today. Horrible and amazing.
-
Jeez! That was a horrible horrible mass crash. Quite incredible. All because of one idiot spectator, not even looking at the racers as they past.

Football should be about going out there to win, but with the Away Goals Rule it becomes a bit of a fear game. Agreed it was probably a good rule when introduced but it's no longer required IMO.

Having tech savvy teenagers also helps, sometimes (when they're not in a strop).????

I had the full year subscription with them, rather than weekly, and when I tried to cast games to my tv I got a message saying casting wasn't allowed. I was using an app called EZMira to cast. I had no problem if I was casting games from other sources, such as Mobdro.
I use one of these boxes, which has BEin connect app on it, so I fired up the game on the BEin connect app on my Android and cast it to the BEin connect app on the tv.

I remember using this excellent catch up VOD service previously, but also the drawback that if your devices(s) were Apple Bein Connect wasn’t available if your Apple ID wasn’t Thailand (mine uk because of iplayer etc) so don’t want to change. I did have an old Android device specifically for that but don’t know if still working/compatible ! There is a Bein website which has videos tab for catchup - essential given many matches will be on at 3 am - so wonder if I can view like that and screen mirror? Always a snag !
I used for FA Cup games last season. Downloaded their App on my Android phone. Paid the one week THB59 subscription. Selected the game/Channel on the App. Cast to tv. Worked great.

Could turn out more exciting.
But remember, the point of the away goals rule was to stop teams parking the bus away from home.......
Football has moved on from those days as Ceferin explained

Interesting that they chose a Liverpool, United, Barca and PSG player for the ad.
No players from this year's finalists!
Particularly as Chelsea TV is one of the channels they carry.

The away goals rule will be removed from all UEFA club competitions from the 21/22 season. Never liked, happy with this change.
If the goals tally are tied at final whistle in the 2nd tie, it goes to extra time and penalties if necessary. Far more exciting for tv.
City were knocked out on away goals twice in the CL - to Monaco in 16/17, and Spurs in 18/19.

Good news! No more watching on dodgy buffering live streams.
beIN SPORTS becomes the home of the UEFA Champions League and Europa League for the next 3 seasons! The newly-minted UEFA Conference League as well as the UEFA Youth League also join the mix we bring you Live, exclusive and unrivalled coverage of Europe's top clubs and talents at more levels and age groups than ever before
Just checked and today's prices for subscription = one week THB59 / one month THB99 (very reasonable - last season I paid for the weekly package to watch FA Cup games). Be interesting to see will they increase those rates with the addition of the European games.
(Definite snub to the CL holders in that image)
