  1. I wish Suthep's glasses to be crushed. And wish him of the streets so life goes on in lovely Thailand.

    Life appears to be going on pretty much as normal in lovely Thailand, even in Bangkok, where protesters seem to be going to work every day and spending their free time demonstrating

    But from your post I sense hatred as if a dead Thaksin is a reason for to stop referring. How did Thaksin harm YOU (so severe) and what is your opinion about Suthep's followers threathening a 10 year old who happens to be a child on a school with a mother being PM?

    This has already been proven as Shinawatra propaganda via Khaosod several times. When asked, the school confirmed there was no factual basis to the claims.

    I wish nobody an early dead.

    Well at least there's something most people could hopefully agree on, but perhaps you could appeal to those behind the string of attacks on demonstrators.

    An exception might be when they start harming children.

    Life is not normal in Bangkok. A Korean delegation cancelled their visit to me today. Hotels are half empty. 48 countries issued a negative travel advice. Yingluck's has been threatened: my sources are better than Khaosod or a school director who decides better to stay neutral. Shootings behind the scenes: any proof who did that? But it is in the line of imagination it is the side who sees their majority votes being raped by a group of anarchists threathening to CAPTURE individuals. Or did Khaosod say this was a Thaksin press release?

  2. Khun Suthep played his hand well.

    laugh.pnglaugh.pnglaugh.pnglaugh.png

    Yes mate. The way hes still wondering the streets aimlessly after 2 months and the way YL has managed to hang onto power despite having such a poor hand (cant even pay the farmers now <deleted>) suggests hes a master tactician.

    You can say what you like about Thaskin (and I`m no fan of him and his corruption) but the way he outsmarts these guys for year after year is impressive. The government position is outrageously weak but because this loony doesnt want democracy PTP are able to switch the argument into something completely different than the real issues at hand.

    Yeah, one of Thailand's richest men is so smart he can't live where he wants to and his policies have ruined his nation's greatest claim to fame as the world biggest and best rice producer for half a century.

    No doubt the way the Kim's have controlled North Korea for decades or Mugabe's business nous in becoming one of the richest men in Africa whilst leading his country to ruin impresses you too.

    There we go again. Comparing Thaksin with countries where people suffer hunger, can not move or walk freely. Please step up the plate and edit your post. Thailand under Thaksin has NEVER been a place of isolation, torture, restrictions in liberty. Apart from that: the US Vietnam Thailand India....all greater rice production nations. Is it a soccer game? Not being the 1st? Meanwhile Thailand did great in increasing the automotive sector, tourism, etc. etc. Be a man and correct your post. Thaksin is a self made business success / tycoon. Mugabe isn't. North Korea I don't wish to have mentioned anyway.

  3. So, is your first year up as yet ? Also, you need to understand the difference between "fee for service" and ripping millions of Baht out of the system by changing the rules while in power to benefit yourself, family and friends, and not forgetting your house maid, driver and gardener.

    How do you know it's his first year?

    But on the subject of taking millions, or even billions out of the system, why don't you Google "Suthep Palm Oil"? Maybe you'll understand the hypocrisy of calling for an end to corruption while walking hand in hand with that man.

    .

    There are 3 things you can blame Suteb for compared to at least 30 we can blame Taksin for not to mention what he and his cronies are doing to the country right now. Suteb is by far the lesser of 2 evils...

    Great. I agree with you. Suthep is evil.

  4. Typical bias yellow judge nonsense. Part of the democratic reforms proposed by both sides should include purging the bias judiciary, EC, "checks and balances" etc and replace them with neutral, objective people.

    .........approved by Thaksin. That has been the Thaksinists policy for some time now, and it's another fine mess you've got us into Moonie.

    This crony worked for suthep. Thaksin is no longer in Thailand so why do you keep referring to him.

    Crony worked for Suthep? With a 2 minute google I was able to find a reference to him being deputy chief judge over 14 years ago. but a distinguished career is nothing compared to the unfounded accusations of a pair of anonymous sycophants to a fugitive criminal.

    When Thaksin is DEAD, I will stop referring to his criminality.

    I wish Suthep's glasses to be crushed. And wish him of the streets so life goes on in lovely Thailand. But from your post I sense hatred as if a dead Thaksin is a reason for to stop referring. 5. Note to the simpletons: human-induced global warming is characterised by extreme weather events, including cold weather events.

    Note to the morons: extreme weather events have been occurring since before homosapiens evolved.

    Thankx. You made my day. The funniest post today. Makes me even forget my wish to scramble Suthep's glasses. Thank you!

  6. Does the caretaker prime minister have the authority to unilaterally resume being an official prime minister without being sworn in by HM? According to alot of forum members her brother did have that authority, so surely his sister should also? Or was the coup removing an imposter prime minister that had no authority to be in that position?

    The later answer is more correct.

    Thaksin was expired as ACTING Caretaker PM.

    He went to the palace and returned with a "no comment".

    He was NOT given the position after his 'time dependent term' expired.

    Though the laws on this point were not clear; What happens when a caretaker times out?

    He then quit and his deputy took over the job.

    A week later Thaksin unilaterally took the PM job back.

    He was not sworn in to a second caretaker term, or as PM.

    One thing was clear a PM must be sworn in, and resigning and having it accepted, restarts that process

    Thaksin then did not say he was Caretaker PM he publicly called himself PM.

    He then went to the UN in New York saying he was "Prime Minister Of Thailand",

    to give a speech, that he effectively did not have the authority to give in that name.

    There were also comments prior to departure he would create an SOE or Marshall Law.

    There was a coup to remove him.

    His 'legend' always says he was the PM removed from office.

    But the reality is he was an expired caretaker PM,

    and could be seen as acting as an usurper of the PM position.

    He was quite the fool to go to New York under those circumstances.

    Ego was always his Achilles heel.

    And Ego/Narcism is also the potential limitor for Suthep.

  7. "countryā€™s image will improve....."; Yingluck is working on that and has great international exposure

    ".....and corruption will disappear....."; that will take some decades.........

    "......more justice and equality in Thai society......."; that will take some decades.......

    And this impressing Poll talk only about the few years Yingluck has been in charge or dating back to Abhisit's miserable period of being captain of the ship? Not putting a penny in improving the rotten State Railway infrastructure (Yingluck took action), spending lots fighting over a temple which is Khmer.

  8. It's a difficult time for all the anti Suthep critics as Suthep keeps his movement rolling.

    With 7 stages to maintain, it's no wonder crowds thin out during the day but at night they're full again.

    Could Yingluck attract crowds like these with her oratory skills? Her brother-in-law, Somchai?

    Chalerm?

    Chaturon?

    Apologies for the rhetorical question.

    Only the fat man of the red shirts, Jatupon, and his side-kick, Nattawut, the fine wine lover, could attrct anywhere near the interest.

    Roll on Uncle Surthep!

    You could have nobody but a mid-level media celeb on stage and attract more people than there is at some of these sites. Have you been?

    And the 9 inch guy attracted more press / attention for a few minutes then Little Willy Syndromed Suthep does in a full day !

  9. DocN, on 23 Jan 2014 - 13:53, said:

    tens of thousands....aha...

    Why? Were you there counting?

    At least more than 10.........as my good friend "soi41" suggested on a previous post.whistling.gif

    I am working (more or less directly ) at Sala Daeng!

    I see the "tens of thousands" of protesters every day!

    Do you comprehend what "tens" actually means?

    It is plural, so it should be at least 20.000 on that march, right!?

    Clearly "tens" is more than 10.000, right?!

    Where?

    Just show me where!

    American writer Tom Wolfe made a brilliant book 'Bonfire of the Vanities'. The press makes people believe enormous crowds are protesting over an incident. In reality there are only a few. Viva the Nation (newspaper) !

  10. Soon, the courts will have had time to do their thing and the protests will no longer be necessary. Khun Suthep played his hand well. Soon, I think, we will see a change in Government. Hopefully, it won't just be a name change, like last time wai2.gif

    Until they change the corrupt nepostistic system here it will be just the same-only different names. Thaksin and Suthep are not the problem, they are just the results of the problem

    This continuous pin-pointing of 'ruling out corruption'. Suthep will RULE out corruption...... Well, for people not having yet a more realistic view on this South Eastern Hemisphere continent: C = corrupt / NC = not corrupt / BC = bit corrupt.

    Myanmar = C

    Laos = C

    Cambodja = C

    China = C

    Hong Kong = NC

    Vietnam = C

    Malaysia = C

    Singapore = NC

    Australia = BC

    Indonesia = C

    New Zealand = NC

    (my country of birth Holland = C (envelopes under the table, price fixing, Real Estate scandals, Rabobank fixing Libor rates))

    Thailand is corrupt and will remain corrupt. In fact I do not dislike it. Any foreign posters here living e.g. more then a year in Thailand and never paid some kind of bribe? Sometimes greasing the system with a payment to a police-officer, or some money to obtain the right document quicker?

    Suthep can shout what he wants. But before Yingluck and Thaksin had their first bowl of rice-soup, there was corruption. It is Utopia to think this weird headed megalomanic centerpiece is going to make a change. But a few hundred in the street believe him. Fine.

    Singapore=NC ! You got to be kidding me biggrin.png

    Just to spike the text a bit so people really read. Okay, Singapore = BC. But not that bad............

    .

    10 years. And you tell me Suthep will change this all; no more ripping of billions out of society by him and his mates? That he is the 100% opposite of a Shinawatra family. I garantuee you things will get worse. Check for example shopping malls in BKK, whter it is Emporium, Terminal 21, Central World, products, pricing, tags are almost all the same. A few families pull the strings. Suthep is going to change that.....? I open a beer now and laugh loud, very loud !

  12. I have fallen in this trap 10 years ago. Do nothing! And do not get stressed. Wait till the newborn is there (if any) and have a DNA check AT AN OBJECTIVE INSTITUTION.

    If the child is yours you have to take responsibility, not earlier. The worst you can do is sent money and start believing the child is yours at this point.

    For me; I paid my lesson. After taking care very well for my GF and her family, the baby was born, it was 'mine', they kept him away from me for 6 months and I paid USD$16,000 for the custody signed.

    You could say I know about these things :)
