You could apply for it a couple of weeks early.
You will use the standard TM7 form used for all extensions. Copies of your passport photo page, visa, extension stamp, entry stamp and TM6 departure card.
This affidavit completed as well. 60 Day Covid 19 Extension Affidavit.pdf229.8 kB · 541 downloads
You were told wrong. It is 2 months for every extension and it has been the same for well over a decade.
The 2 months and then 3 months rule was for extensions based upon retirement but that was changed in 2019 to 2 months for every extension.
Thanks a lot, really helpful! ????
Just a couple of follow-up question; Is this just a formality, i.e. are 60 day extensions routinly granted? And lastly, should I print out the affidavit on 1 page or 2?

It only has to be in the bank for 2 months. But it appears even you put it in the bank today it would not be in the bank long enough.
You could apply for a 60 day covid 19 extension to get enough time for it to be in the bank for 2 months.
OK, so that's something I could do right before my current extension runs out in the middle of next month? Which TM form and documents would I have to present?
PS. I have been told that frist year extension the seasoning is 2 months but subsequent extensions the requirement is 3 month so this is not correct?

My marriage extension expires in the middle of next month and I completely forgot to put 400k in the bank 3 months before for seasoning. What are my alternatives (if any)?

Could anyone please point me in the right direction to a website containing the lates provincial color codes and current Covid restrictions?

Yes, I know.

So the biopsy came back as positive for basal cell carcinoma, superficial type. Still a bit shaken that I have a cancer diagnosis but I guess it could have been a lot worse (melanoma).
I'll book an appointment with Dr. Anna at BPH for a consultation and full body skin check.
And a piece of heartfelt advice to you all; don't forget to apply proper sun lotion before heading out into the sun.

Most who buy these policies aren't aware they are useless in practise. Reason being you MUST declare all pre exisiting conditions. Most don't even give you the option to put in these exisiting conditions.
So when it comes time to claim, they will cite your medical history and refuse a claim on the basis you didn't declare something.
My friend requires this insurance just for entry purposes and don't require an actual pay-out.

A friend of mine who is in his mid 70's will exit Thailand and return in October but he is worried he won't find an insurance provider who will cover the compulsary Covid isnurance due to advanced age and poor health. Are there any options available to him?

Not very funny given the circumstances.

I think what the doctor meant was not that there are only 2 docto45s who do path exams on biopsies (there are scores of them) but rather that there are only 2 with adequate expertise in identifying skin cancers, and this I can well believe. Skin cancer is very rare in Thais.
You seem to have seen a male dermatologist? As the country's best dermatologist for skin cancer is at BPH but female (Dr,. Anna).
Yes, I have used Dr Anna in the past and would have preferred her but that would have meant waiting several days as she only works part time 3 days a week in BPH.
In the end I don't see what she could have done differently unless she herself has the experise to analyse the biopsy?

About 10 months or so ago I go (I presume) an insect bit my neck, slightly behind what I can see when looking at myself in the mirror. It itched for a long time, then almost disappeared, rerappeared (itched) and so on until a few days ago I was in the gym and close to a wall with mirrors at a 90 deg angle towards each other. I then saw a bright red/purple unevenly shaped spot and I booked an appointment at the dermatology center of BHP the next day.
They did a biopsy and removed the mole/spot/tumor with laser. So far nothing surprising (other than me feeling like a complete idiot that I didn't investigate this "insect bite" much earlier) but then the dermatologist said the results would not be back for one week because there are only 2 specialists (I forgot the correct term he used to describe them) in the whole of Thailand that does biopsy analysis and they're both attached to research institutions in Bangkok. Only 2 specialists in the whole of Thailand, a country that is becoming a medical hub, seems very much on the low side to me.
Anyway, if any of you have been in my shoes and have some advice I will be very grateful while I bite my nails and wait for the restults coming on Friday.

Taking a blood test before changing statins is probably a good idea. Are any of the variants mentioned in this thread considered more "liver friendly" than others?

Niacin would be my choice too, but I simply refused statins 13 years ago.
Thought the cholesterol myth had been debunked.
Myth? Any links to credible souces to back up that claim?

Everyone I know, me included, who took statins have dumped them due to side effects.
I've never experienced any side effects. What form did yours take?

I'm using 20 mg Lipitor tables.

I've been on cholesterol reducing drugs for years and the imported type the doctor put me on is quite expensive. I know there are generic versions of this type of drugs being sold in pharmacies that are quite cheap so my question is does anyone here have any knowledge of their efficacy and safety?

Perhaps you looked in the wrong place. The line is on the left for extensions and whatnot. It was a long line on this past Monday afternoon, too.
For the 90-day report you go over to the waiting area on the right. There's no line there but an IO mule quickly collecting passports (giving you a number), going inside to get the 90-day slips updated, and returning to call out the numbers. If he's inside, sit and wait 10 min till he's back.
It's all pretty fast. I think I spent less than 20 min. total.
Wasn' aware of this. I went back there today at 1530 hrs and there was no line to get through the door. Went straight in, got a queue number and was out of the door with my new extension in less than 5 min.

So I went down to Jomtien IO just now, arrived about 1445 hrs and the line outside was loooong so I turned back. Very surprised about the lenght of the line since normally Thursday latish afternoon is one of the best times during the week to go there. What could be the reason - is it normally this busy now or could the reason be the Buddha day yesterday?

OK, I guess the situation is fluid as always. Will head down there with my passport including the slip from last time and see what happens.
You'd think that during these Covid times they'd finally get around to scrapping this outdated nonsense but alas......

After several unsuccessfull attempts at doing it online I will head down to Jomtien IO to get the 90 day rrporting done. Could someone who's done it recently please tell me which papers they require this time around?

Ok thanks for the information everybody. Last time I drew the map in advance and that was fine to use (Jomtien immigration) so will do that again
Did the extension in Jomtien 3 months ago. Hand-drawn map and photos printed on plain A4 paper still accepted.

So I play a lot of World Of Tanks and when I'm zoomed in the aim poin/mouse pointer does not move smoothly but in a jerky motion, like a video where the frames per second is very low.
I have a gaming mouse (Fantech X5sZeus), an Acer K242HL monitor and other specs are attached. Any suggestions on what I can do to get a better gaming experience would be very welcome.

Maybe tell something about your PC. You should really use a Seedbox rather than using Torrent software on your PC.
Have you tried installing https://www.videolan.org/vlc/
If it doesn't play the file then there is something wrong with the file. Send me the name of the file via PM and I'll source one I know that works.
I have installed a VLC player and the issue I have playing the file seems to be some type of scam. Thanks for the offer of help but since I'm potentially pushing legal boundaris I'll just fiddle about myself.????

Anyone know if Jomtien IO also require 3 months? Accoring to ubonjoe it's 2 months and I'm sure he's correct but I also know that different IOs sometimes make up their own rules.
