I have learned that whatever the label says means very little here in Thailand. Found some briefs that had 5XL labels attached and that would be an ordinary XL in Europe.

I'm a large size foreigner and I'm having a hard time getting hold of underwear (preferably boxer shorts) that fit me. What I need is 2XL (farang 2XL, not Thai) underwear and I haven't been able to find it. Are there shops where I might be able to get this?

Bought a CLA 250 a few years ago and, boy, did I get a real lemon. But that's a story for another day. One of the many problems I've had are the tyre pressure sensors for the run-flats. Yet again (and of course always when faaar away from the nearest authorized garage) a sensor for one of the run-flats have become faulty/broken and when that happens the whole alarm panel light up; tyre pressure, engine malfunction, ABS, automatic parking brake alarm and stops working, power steering stops working. I've tried asking the few that talk any English at the dealership/garage how come all this happens just because a tyre pressure sensor breaks but have not gotten any answer. Does anyone on this forum have any idea why this happens?

I need to renew the tyres (run flat) on my car and would like to know if anyone has a place they can recommend in the Pattaya area. There's a big shop with bright yellow signs right next to Big C south Pattaya that seems quite busy so I thought I might try them. Also, if anyone has any advice re. the purchase of run-flat tyres that would be most welcome.

A mate in the UK has bought an Amazon fire stick that he's had recoded(?) so that it can show basically anything that's being streamed. Will the stick work if he brings it to Thailand?

So I went to my usual agent (in Pattaya) to check if the cost and procedure was the same as last year and they said that due to "new immigration boss" only Bangkok Bank accounts could be used if I went the "no 800k in the bank" route. Shew also said BB charge 5500 Baht if I didn't have a letter from Immigration. Stupidly enough I didn't ask if it was the residence certificate she referred to. Anyone know if that is the case and if opening a BB account is a straight forward affair? I'm living here on a Non-O with a retirement extension and am married and in possession of a yellow house book.
