Mendocino and Humboldt get near-freezing temperatures the month before harvest. I've always thought that brings out the skunk smell and deep purple colors. I enjoy primo outdoor from that region more than any indoor strains I've smoked.

Agree that, out of consideration, folks shouldn't smoke outdoors or in public spaces. However, most condos are built well enough that what's done in one's bedroom stays in the bedroom. I'm particularly amused by cigarette smokers who claim they are "allergic" to the smell of weed and therefore claim it's a health risk. Nice try 🙄

They sent an email confirmation that my application was approved on the sixth of May, so the delay was from their announced holiday. Although I never was able to track it on the website the drop-off process was quite easy and the counter people were reasonably switched-on and helpful. My pickup date is a week from the day I dropped it off. The staff was Thai not Chinese.

There does appear to be a mail-back service, and can be done entirely by mail if you don't need to be fingerprinted (10 year visa). I never quite figured that out and will go pick it up myself.

I applied online as instructed at https://visaforchina.cn/ .  My application first said "under review" for a couple of days and now "no data found". The Chinese Visa Center has yet to respond to email inquiry about this. Has anyone been through the process that can advise how the website is supposed to work?

It's been more than 30 days since the earthquake, so it seems very optimistic to call it a rescue effort. Perhaps some families are still holding out hope.  Thailand could use a miracle right about now 🙏🙏🙏

I used it years ago - Just dial the 00500 before your outgoing call to get the rate. 

FYI - 2.5 baht/minute is 7.5 cents, which isn't a good deal. I use Yolla, which is 1 cent per minute. Yolla lets me set my caller ID for my USA number so the banks recognize my incoming calls.

Yeah classy white guy - only three of them. If it were Thais vs a foreigner, we'd have seen an entire group of motorbike taxi drivers pile on. Coulda been worse, and certainly not national news where I come from 🙄
