I got a Moderna booster (after Pfizer/Pfizer) at MedPark on Feb 5. They did not offer me any options ;-(

Hmmm.  I asked MedPark and learned that I was given 100ug (.5ml) of Moderna as the booster. I received my initial 2 Pfizer doses for free, but I paid for this one so I could receive it after six months. I'm a little surprised I got so much more than recommended, but I guess they gave me the dose I paid for and I only had a days worth of side effects.

I noticed that none of the certificates list dose size (at least not in English).  From reading other posts it sure seems like dose size is something we need to pay closer attention to in Thailand.  Now I'm wondering how that might work out regarding international recognition of the vaccines received here.

  2. Been there, done that. "Free competition" amounted to collusive price fixing where a taxi driver wouldn't dare give you a fair deal in fear of reprisal by other taxis. The current system was supposed to help cure that problem. If the taxi drivers hate it - it must be working ????

The real solution would be requiring all taxis to be metered. That's quite likely to happen - just after hell freezes over.

    It's about time!

Thailand should capitalize on this and open coffee shops, like in Amsterdam. Would be great for tourism.

I'm guessing the greatest economic potential for the country as a whole is the export market, probably more for for processed extracts than buds. Electricity in Thailand is too expensive to be globally competitive in the indoor grows, but there sure is plenty of sunlight ????

March 2 I think. Still six months here.

I've got the same date, must have been at MedPark the same day?

I've got a paid Moderna scheduled for March 3. But looking for a Pfizer option.

Ya, but Thailand often follows USA CDC (I think that's how Thailand came up with 6 months).  Maybe well get some news here soon. I wrote to MedPark a few days ago and they have not answered - usually they answer quickly so maybe they are expecting a change soon.

I think I remember you at MedPark - you are about my age and you were wearing a mask right? ????

Wasn't the recommended time for 2 x Pfizers booster 6 months.

The CDC in the USA reduced their recommendation to 5 months, so the early Thailand Pfizer recipients would be eligible now or soon. My 2nd shot was Sept 2 so I'd like to get the booster early Feb.

  6.  I received two doses of Pfizer vaccine in Thailand (August/September 2021). Has anyone yet received a booster (in Thailand) after two Pfizer doses?

The press releases from the government is now suggesting a booster after 3 months but unclear about Pfizer boosters.

    Thanks,

  7. I've got the 3BB Fiber optic (Phratumnak). At the moment it's normal, but I find it slows to a crawl ever 2-3 months for no apparent reason and requires a call to 3BB. They always blame it on a "bad connection at the street box" and fix it within a day or two.

Full service "normal" is something close to the 1Gig/second advertised inside Thailand and 20-30% of that to the USA. There is quite a bit of variation between testing servers chosen on the USA side. I assume there are many routes data can take between Thailand and foreign servers.
