Yup, they're great, my premium went down by around 40%, & I got a 1k baht discount card, which didn't have any daft T&C's.

Onemorefarang.
Why did you put a confused emoji on my post #161?
Was my opinion, & also my findings incorrect, regarding the:
"majority of us, met their wives connected to prostitution?"
Perhaps you'd like to explain.

.....but if you are honest, the majority have met their current wife's/partners in a prostitution kind of environment, but often didn't feel like it.
Load of nonsense.

Yes but the question is.... at the right moment, was that before or after the deed was done.?
Maybe it was coitus interruptus?

seriously, there comes a point when you gotta look at something for what it is.
Thailand is not the country it once was, it has changed for the worse.
Am I the only person here that asks himself daily 'Dude, what the hell are you doing here?'
Surely not.
No, you're probably not. However, there are many of us who love living here, it's far from perfect etc etc, but 'glass half full' is a better frame of mind.????
You don't appear to have any ties here, & if you feel that way, move on.
And, I really despise - not aimed at you KP, ????the people on here, who, when some of are positive ie look on the bright side, are called apologists.
Phew, I feel sooo much better now!
Enjoy your day!!

Yesterday, was quite a good day, no rain & managed to wash & dry my undies.
Big dark clouds came rolling in around 4pm, & it started raining hard from 2am. Still chucking it down now at 05:30. No wind though....
Yet another day that the dawg can't have a walk. ????

The "rumour" was, when they were built that Thaksin owned one of them and was an investor? they were 16 million each, probably 20m as none have sold!
Well allegedly, brother & sister own that huge mansion not far from Thanwa town, Ban Leaum.
And, keeping the subject on topic...
...the river was the highest I've ever seen it, saw a few locals fishing. It reminded me again that Thailand is a lovely country.

Opposite the expensive houses - that have been empty for many years now!
No, West side - Kut Ling Ngo
Ok thanks.
Yes, those houses in NSR....we've been in Udon for four years, & they were built already. Went there yesterday to look at whatever mess they're making, & the houses are still empty.
Nice view of the lake....& the lorries.

If anyone thinks that we, are old men, because we are in our 60's/70's, shows their immaturity.

They have been working on deepening and generally improving the local reservoir where I am in the West of Udon for the past couple of months, looking very nice and ready for a deluge, most of the storm managed to avoid us!
Do you mean the one in Nongsamrong, behind the expensive looking Municipal building?

Didn't see much flooding in Udon; mind you I was 'round at Bluesofa's house, pished out of my head on his homemade Lao.
Bit sore this morning - my head that is!

Huge drugs busts announced by Thai police
in Bangkok News

That will come later no doubt, probably, much later & a 'token' amount will be destroyed in a ceremony, presided over by the one, the only, Ol' Fatty.
More likely, they get resold & recirculated.
Speculation of course...????
