one person was numb but got better in about half an hour.
Bit odd...
If it 'got better' then it most likely wasn't anything to do with the vaccine, so why mention it?
Patient was probably leaning on their elbow.
However, this is slightly encouraging news I suppose. Far better if 300,000 had been done though. ????

Do you think the 1918 flu is a good example of why we should just let COVID rip and wait for herd immunity?
If not why do you bring it up?
Of course not, because we have those humanitarian pharmaceutical companies who are here to help us.
They'll make an immense profit - they deserve it though, for their benevolence.

The Monk who's walking about at the moment - dunno his name, arrived in Nongbualamphu this afternoon.
Drove down the soi from our house to the big road, nose to tail traffic, many people forcing their way in, to get ahead. ????
100's & 100's of people lining the road to see him. I was impressed by their apparent devotion. If only they carried more of the Buddhist principles into daily life...
Took me 45 minutes to get to bloody Tesco's, normally a 15 minute drive. Got out the car, the heavens opened, & I got soaked. But, it ain't cold, blighty rain!????️
The Witchfinder General was around this morning, dispensing their normal knee jerk reactions. (unable to elaborate) ????
Just having a nice cold Bud ????on the patio, dog by my side. Lovely.
Mrs F's making me Pad Thai tonight - awesome as usual.
Anything interesting wiv you lot tonight?

Yup, all those lovely contracts with government links.

Yes, I think their shipping has become expensive & slow.
Looked at Piping Rock, they look less expensive.

I once had a bird banging on my door all night.
I told her to come back to bed, I'd let her out in the morning.
Bit of gaffer tape helps.????

Don't the proper Brits wear chequered shirts?
Yes, yes they do.
Some people - no names mentioned ???? like to believe that their *ahem* style, i.e. discount warehouse, is what all people wear.

So there you go: distinguish (or rather, disguise) yourself as a cool global dude and win more smiles in the Land Of Smiles—initially, anyway. Pro tip: lose the belly and get fit so’s you can wear the slim sizes.
You do rather go on, don't you.
Pro tip:
Dry up.

I truly hope that this does get to the Red Cross, it would be a great opportunity for Christine Schraner Burgener - the "envoy on a jolly", to liaise with them & ensure it does.

Those will be West Ham supporters & not the definition of sartorial elegance so often found with English Gentlemen.
Do you wear one of hats with corks on strings, & a wife beater?

Impossible! They don't make enough noise. They would have to install very powerful IC engine sound systems and loud speakers. eMotorbikes entirely out of the question, of course.
What about the 'black smoke' that pours outa the pickups that accelerate like fury from the fire daeng?
The one's that have obligatory Liqui Moly sticker on...

Anutin didn't actually say "dirty" he said the equivalent of " damn". Still not very nice though.

Chlamydia gives a slight clear discharge, so maybe he doesn't even suspect.

I had to Google Lamingtons - it's just a cake. I was disappointed to find out that it's not a euphemism for something sexual.
It may be "just a cake" but what these...err... gentlemen from down under do with it....
Is shocking????
I do miss a large slice of Victoria sponge, & a cuppa with fresh milk. Have yet to find a decent cake shop here in Issaan ( keeping it on topic)????
Or cooking apples, to make an apple crumble...????

Isn't the Thai/Danish only a UHT option, in a carton? For me it's an emergency option if I ever ran out of the pasteurised milk.
I had to look through a chink in the curtains to see if there was daylight - there is!
Yes, it is UHT, but getting Chokchai in NBL is difficult, as often Makro no hab.
Which milk do you use?
????
Worried about the word 'chink' Mr Sofa, gotta be so careful these days. ( unable to elaborate) ????

Nice cuppa PG with Thai/Danish milk, sitting outside.
Morning's are getting much lighter now, & the rainy season may well come early, it seems.
???? Thought I had more to say, last night I did, but a can of Bud doesn't taste right in the morning.
Owl, what's da news???

UK variant was responsible for 98% of Thai infections, says leading virologist - Indian variant not detected yet

In the dead of night, I expect......????
What dreadful, unprofessional & xenophobic assumptions, from this 'Professor'.
To go & blame another country being 98% responsible, is ludicrous. Especially when that country is 6000 miles away.
