Some other airports do it all the time xray after deplaning. Also some airports will conduct a last scan at the gate before you go into holding area.

Believe what you want. Ive used the new airport and I can read a flight schedule. I flew international. The above guys post was LAST MONTH BEFORE THE NEW TERMINAL OPENED.

Why should the government compensate for this?

It is not the government's responsibility.  You act like a U.S. welfare recipient.  Never thinking where the money the government spends really comes from.  Private business is just that, private. If there is wrongdoing then go to court.  Don't always expect the government to intervene. 

Let me clarify it looks like they have renumbered the domestic terminal to 3. That being said, the international terminal which is the new building that was built is ONE. Domestic which is the old building is now THREE. The buildings are side by side. There are only 2 physical buildings i.e. Terminals at Phuket airport. But please dont ask me As I just flew through the new terminal last week. This means I dont have any armchair information which everbody knows is correct.

I would just like to finally nail this down ..

 

The old terminal is called terminal 1 and handles only domestic flights

 

The new terminal is called terminal 2 and handles only international flights

 

Does everyone agree with that ?

Sorry about the crazy posts looks like website issue. To clarify if you arrive at terminal one you pick bags up there if at terminal two you pick them up there. Lol come on guys use you noggins with this. Remember part of entry is baggage customs also. Do you really think you would have to go to a completely different terminal and transit into a cleared sterile area just to claim bags again. No way in the world would you do that and especially at that small airport. Again 1 is international 2 domestic. Bags are picked up and customs performed there also. Look at the link I posted earlier for flight information. But if everything fails and is too confusing, just follow the signs at your respective airport. Traveling isnt the rocket science some of you are trying to make it out to be

Flew in yesterday from doha. Can confirm 2fishin2 information. Old terminal only for domestic and new for international.

My impression was good. But no fast track at immigration and no lane for thais. Also it was  busy and hot. Looks like they save energie and menpower. Had to wait about 2o min.

Also they xray now all luggage. Was my first time in 25 years that they checked and xrayed my luggage. They were surprised when they saw my 20kg of food and whey but after some sentence baagwan they let me pass without problems.

So overall it was fine and also got to the car easy and dry now through this new bridge.

Does this mean that connecting flights, so arrival in BKK, connection to Phuket, will now arrive at domestic terminal with also immigration and bagage claim done in Bangkok? The check in luggage of the international guests of those flights used to arrive at international, the check in luggage of domestic guests at domestic.

I think thai education is not so bad. in the USA by example they have no idea where France or thailand is.
I think Thai children are more polite and show more respect than children in the USA.

USA is based on how much you consume, Thailand is based on experience. in a Thai school they teach experience so if you have a child in a Thai school, I think he will become a good kid. plus he will speak 2 languages or more.

Terminal one is international (new) terminal two is domestic (old) parking is in front of terminal one in a multifloor parking garage with skybridges from 2 different floors straight to the terminal. Come on it isnt that difficult to understand

Parking is at terminal one with a skybridge across to terminal. Yes Terminal one is now exclusively international and 2 domestic

Went through the new terminal this morning....typical Thai buffoonery. So many things wrong with the airport, I wouldnt know where to begin. Can we say already a pig pen, trash cans overflowing trash allover the floor. Bathrooms dirty, no toilet paper. Customer escalators dont work (employees have their own and naturally they work. Business class lounges for Thai air is a very small roped off area maybe 10 seats right in the middle of the departure lounge. It will be just like the old terminal in 6 months.

I paid my landlord a year rent up front on two different occasions. No deposit necessary. Have had no difficulties at all with the arrangement

Get rid of the pictures showing up on the main preview page of app. I want to browse and search for a topic and not have ridiculous pics take up half my screen.

Do you understand English please read again very slow, and think whilst you read

Heck you cant get any kind of card with a business account anymore.  Don't know why but, its true.

I dont like how when using the app, pictures take up 1/3 of my screen now. Makes scrolling the thread topics too time consuming. I dont mind seeing the pics when I open a thread but when previewing what to read, I dont want to see them. And not to mention its slower than frozen butter now. Uggggggg
