Where is all the fertiliser going to come from with no animals?

"KLICKITAT COUNTY, Wash. (KOIN) — Walt Patrick slowly rolls a giant wooden spool-shaped cradle back and forth. Inside, a human body is gradually being turned into compost, one of the first licensed “natural organic reductions” to be performed in the entire country."

I hope so. Anything to stop the ridiculous and cruel cycle of raising animals to then be killed and eaten by us because we like their taste. In time people will look back at thousands of years of human history and ask "what on earth did we think we were doing" ?

A thousand years of human history shows that man and nature were in balance.  It still can be in balance.

Good luck with that as I have read that over 85% of the world's population eats meat, whereas vegans makeup roughly 3 - 5% of the global population...

If you listened to Western main-stream media you'd think 85% of the population were GMO soy eaters.  Of course we are told by the MSM that if we continue to eat meat, the sea levels will rise and the coast will be under water.
I'm good with that.  I believe it 100% but I'm just biding my time.  When Al Gore and Barrack Obama's beach-front homes are flooded out, that will be the day I start eating soy-burger.  Until then?  Meat's on the menu baby!

Yep, wife got a scooter type electric thing 3 days ago. Totally silent, so she whizzes around the village and you only know she's there until you see her. Tried it meself to go to the shop. Not that comfortable, but I cud C the appeal if my click had an electric battery.

Would need to install a noise maker however, cause the diginals never look when crossing the road. They only listen for sound. ????

You could give her a pack of cards and a cloths-pin.  (Man, I'm dating myself here).

I did see a scooter-type electric motorbike advertised in Thailand. It had a removable battery pack. The idea was that when you got home you removed the battery, took it inside your apartment and plugged it in using a standard wall socket.

I could see that type of arrangement being popular in Thailand when the price is at the right point.

Most Thais will not be able to afford the electric bill when in comes due.  Really!  And when EV are mandated, Thais will not be able to afford either the EVs or the electric charge.  If anything, EV motorcycles may actually become more popular as they will be the most economical to charge.
In the meanwhile, Thailand will need to burn more coal to create the electricity.  Wind farms and solar panels ain't gonna do it.  And as the CO2 decreases the planet will be deluged in the pollution from the activities of lithum and rare earth mining and "clean" energy manufacturing which is anything but "clean." Robbing Peter to pay Paul.

  6. Considering countries in upper latitudes such as Norway are more prone to the Sun's Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) power outages.  The Earth is a bit overdue for cyclical CME events of significant magnitude. When they eventually hit (and they will) it will stop EVs in their tracks.  Actually it will stop all computer-based machinery in their tracks.

It will be interesting to see how the world responses if Northern latitude countries like Sweden, Norway, and Finland all go off-line after a hit from an Earth facing CME.
Would they change their insistence on zero-carbon electric?  Or will it be a moot point as entire populations enter Mad Max territory and begin to die out due to supply-chain failures.
Interesting times ahead as most humans bask in the glow of their continuity biases.  EV motorcycles will be the least of their worries.

  7. Given the interconnections and conflicts of interest, can you even trust any of the local governmental authorities?

Anymore that's a valid question. Prayut, Anutin, and SiamBS are getting so much flack and yet collectively wield immense power to politically protect those whom must never ever lose face.
Are the regulators actually free of cohesion to actually regulate? Is Thailand suddenly free of all corruption?  What will actually be in the first few million vials given the apparent shortages and public backlash? Saline for sure and the rest of the juice?
What I do believe is that the public has lost confidence in those running the show, and those running the show seem to be in a panic.  Given the conflicts of interest in this country and I'd say all bets are off.  At least that's my view from the ground knowing the Thais that I know.

Without elaborating, there should have never been a conflict of interest of this magnitude when it comes to regional and global public health.

A British man wanted in connection with the brutal murder and dismemberment of a woman in Thailand faces extradition from Spain, after his appeal was rejected by the European Court of Human Rights

Easy as pie.  Now, why can't they find and extradite the Ferrari driving heir of a billionaire who killed a police officer an then fled the country?
Answer:  Because they don't want to.  But they can find anyone else for extradition without a problem in the world.
